I think the microphone is causing echo/muffling sounds
I agree. I thought it was just me or my ear buds.
It's because she doesn't have a lot of clutter or a carpet which would absorb more sound.
Exactly, no clutter results in acoustic echo, but its not bad.
Glad I didn't have earphones in
No Pants Mondays! It should be a thing 🎉
Yup, I like this. N P M!
@@lindaroyal8161 Or only on days that end in "Y"
A few months ago, I found a mini clothes washer along the side of the road for free. I purchased some hardware to be able to hook it up to my kitchen sink. I've been able to do my laundry with a lot less electricity and have been hanging it to dry on hangers in my living room, since it's been so hot in my house and I've been running the AC mostly for my animals. Not using the large washer and it running the dryer should save money monthly for me. I don't pay for water where I live, so I can do all my laundry cheaper.
Next year our car will be 20 years old and it's still going strong. We won't be buying another until it dies.
Mine is 18 years old, I dread the day it dies as most cars now have too many bells & whistles for me.
My vehicle is 20 years old. It is made of metal & is sturdy. I am happy to own it 😁
I love my little truck. Its a '95 Nissan. I hope to drive it for the rest of my life. Im 66.
I'm not wearing any pants...😂😂I've been listening to you for years and love your advise. Thanks for all your help!
I'm glad we got the pants thing outa the way. 😂
As parents we paid for our 2 kids' university degrees (they start life with no debt), did not charge rent (as they were saving $$--had they been big spenders , then no way). So they in turn had a lot for downpayment. We Took a lower mortgage (did not max out what the bank told us we could spend) and paid extra to pay it off quickly. No car debts--paid in cash. Ate out occasionally, cheap extra-curriculars for us and kids. Everything you said.
"i am not wearing any pants." Awkward silence. "Okay." OMG, that totally cracked me up. Prepper Princess, PLeASE do that as your new intro going forward. LmAO
It can be iconic
@@laurab9518 right?? lol
It already is.
For Jim Gaffigan.
My husband and I love to dance and there are places in our area where we don't spend more than $16 for an evening of live music and dancing. We also enjoy having family game nights.
wow there is an echo.....maybe your pants really absorbed the sound! lol
So love watching your videos
Haahaaa that's what I was thinking. 😂
My 13 year old grandson and I went to the marina on the local lake to see how much it would cost to rent a boat to go fishing for Lake Trout. It was $185 a day plus gas costs. Then I remembered that we were dog watching the next day on another local lake and they had a nice kayak we were told we could use! Plus they left food for us for lunch. He fished from the kayak and caught some big bass. I fished from the dock and caught a nice trout. Catch and release for us. It didn't cost me anything but the gas to get there and some nightcrawlers. Don't fish around a high strung dog. Lesson learned about that. We had an awesome day!
I absolutely was in that 67%. I grew up living in poverty. My parents were born in 1918 and 1921 so at least I learned how to be frugal. It took me a lot of years just to figure out that I didn’t have to live that way and then how to stop living paycheck to paycheck. I’m trying to catch up now but wow I wish I knew all of that sooner and I wish I had known about investing.
The confidence with “crochet!” Then, “no that’s not it” 😂
Great mistake, I’ve been saving for years not getting anywhere. Prepper princess, Thanks for your very valuable advice.
I burst out laughing. In the UK pants are underwear!
And I though I was DARING by not wearing a bra while watching TV! Prepper Princess you always make my day! Cheers! ❤🎉😂
Always very informative, thank you. But every time, Rocky and Nala really show what life is all about. Soooo cute! Of course, it takes money to have pets. Lost my 14 yo pittie last month, and her demise over a month of time was $1500. But I was grateful I had the money to make things the most comfortable I coul for her last days.
Rocky’s like, “What you talking about mommy?” 😂
I must admit, i do buy more than i need. I bought 5 pairs of Reebok classics and two pairs of Levi jeans;) That’s me done for the next five years;)
Truth! I'm 59 - retired for almost 2 full years and loving it. Invest at any age - but if you're in your 20s, it's imperative you set aside as much as you can -- your future self will thank you! I get a distribution from my investments monthly - and you know what? I still save/invest a portion of that (yes saving for a car in 5 yrs - even though it's in my investment plan - I want to do it without using my investments -- thinking of using T-Bills soon for that). Old habit die hard!
I bet 100% wish they’d saved more.
I’m not done with my mortgage but no other debt. My car just made it to 20 years old.
I don't pay attention to what other people do and this actually has the effect of making people displeased with me since I am no fun to gossip with and I show no interest in their lives. I often feel the less I know about people, the better I feel.
So why exactly are you here watching her channel? Just curious.
@@cf9399 to learn; these are things that can benefit my life. To clarify, I don't need every personal little trivial detail of someone else's life. I seek out what I want or need to know and ignore the rest.
You are telling people the truth. I will say we invested in our children's college education ( some further higher education than college) & they, in return, are available to assist us should we need their help. I love my smart, hardworking, grown kids! Again, you are correct in what you are saying ❤. PS We miss our fur baby😭. Love on your doggies
Peace 🕯
“First off: I’m not wearing pants.”😂 I love ur sense of humor! You are hilarious & LIGHT HEARTED BC of the lifestyle u created & share with us! I only wish I had come across ur channel 3 years ago when I had passive income in the bank of over 35k. I am back to ground zero😢looking back at all my mistakes. Yet, u have given me insight, incredible knowledge & the confidence that I can “put on my big girl pants” & do something about it! I caused my desperate situation now, but thankfully am applying ur sound advice to fix my problems! Again u crack me up 🤣 & besides the serious information u share U, Rocky & Nala are pure entertainment! Thank u for including them! I can’t wait to see their antics & adorableness every video!😮🐾💓
😮 meant 😊
Re: the echo, do you have a closet or a smaller room with rug or carpet? Do your podcast there and everything will sound better and get the best out of your new microphone.
I love how your youngster is full of hope and energy and enthusiasm, and the older just looks deflated by everything. State of the world!
I loved the end with the dogs. It’s like they totally understood. 😂❤
You’re hilarious when you can’t think of a word! 😊
It may not be very PC but not having children will help you get rich.
Called a DINK
Your house looks great you have done a nice job in fixing this up
Your mic is distorting a bit, might want to turn down the gain just a skosh.
#6 don’t wear pants 😂 save on initial cost, laundry detergent, etc. 😂😂😂
Hysterical!!
You are so funny! You shared that you're not wearing pants! Lol!
I am not wearing pants either.
At the time I told my son, you do what you need to do to make yourself secure and happy. Dont worry about what other people have. And he surprised me, he said yes, they are all way in debt, with large credit card balances. Now he owns a home he rents out, hoping to sell to the renters. Does not owe anything more than regular monthly bills. I am proud of him, works and saves and has investments. Did way better than I did. God Bless.
Have loved your channel for years Sweetie 💛! I respect you, and have learned SO much from your videos. God bless you PP! 🙋♀️🙏🐕
I love how you wrap up your videos with the kids. I get a kick out of them every time. Your content is educational, and I enjoy watching. However, I have to admit, Rocky and Nala steal the 'show'
Amber, you have the best personality. You are so endearing. I love the color of your wall
You are very wise and a great example!
I love ❤playing “crambay” 😂😂Great video and talking session with Rocky pants and Nala 😊
I have press on nails that I've had for a year and still haven't used.
I think #3 and #4 are so important. You must learn to love your home. Cultivate FREE/low-cost hobbies. Learn to be content at home. Great advice!
We so love to see the minutes with those lovely creatures ... waving from England ...
Your dogs do all the good they can by loving and supporting you. (Actually they are gold diggers as all spoiled pets should be!)
It's too hot to wear pants! 😊
Thank you for teaching that not spending and saving money doesn’t build wealth. It’s investing.
Valid points! Investing is key and live within your means
Enjoyed. I’m 42. Just got out of a lot of debt- and got my credit built back up. We own our home outright and I am so thankful and will never mortgage if I can help it. We do have car loans sadly but working on it!
How much are your car loans? Are the interest rates high?
The echo on the microphone is not nice!
I love your sense of humor. You give such good advice.
I WANT to continue working (not necessarily full-time all the time) into my 70s so am trying to stay healthy to do it.
🥳Great goal and ambition . Be well!
Why do I feel like I am being called out for my previous idiotic actions whenever I watch Prepper Princess' videos? :) I always need to hear it out loud too, now I am slowly doing something about my financial status. Thanks, as always, Prepper Princess! Keep the videos coming!
I love the dogs,,,,they have the right idea. Be happy with what you have. Thanks for the video.
Legendary investor Warren Buffett bought his first stock when he was 11 years old, and was fascinated with the stock market from an early age. What Happened: The Berkshire Hathaway Inc CEO bought three shares of Cities Service preferred at the age of 11. Despite being 92 years old, Buffett recalls perfectly that he spent $114.75 on March 11, 1942, for the transaction.
He has had over 80 years to invest! He was able to hit some big winners. He is very savvy.
Thank you for this great information Prepper Princess. This video makes more sense to me, maybe because I am ready to hear, learn and do something about my money situation. I don’t have debt, but I have yet to invest. The comment you made about being bitter with at the end of the day for not investing , really hit home with me. I’m going to make some changes, starting now. Thanks again.
My goal has never been to become rich, but to be very financially secure. Your suggestions are spot on and I followed all of them over the last 40 years. The only thing i would add is to also tithe or donate to whatever or whomever moves you. I donate to my animal shelter as well as many other charities and this is where Joy comes in. What good is sitting on a wad of money without also giving back. We can't take it with us.
Thank you for your videos! So many valuable treasured lessons to learn and apply to our lives. I love your dogs! thank you for taking the time showing us your fur babies. They seem like they love you, and to hang out with you. That is so adorable.
I agree with everything U say and live my life that way. I even use up all the food in my pantry, which I am doing right now but I am making pancakes from cococut flour and it's a nightmare......It looks like scrambled egg.
I wish I could take advantage of the great rates & service with Mint Mobile, & it's not available in my area or the surrounding areas. Your opening announcement was LOL. Your conversation with Rocky & Nala is your cutest & funniest video closer.
Your home is coming along very nicely 👏🏽
That is so bizarre to impress someone... I can't comprehend.
That ego can be a brutal task master.
Rocky and Narla are so cute.
True.. AND.. they have no pants. 😅
PP and Rocky and Nala ❤❤❤😊😊😊
Rocky rules!❤
Echo and microphone a lil close but great video
My hubby maintains our vehicles in awsome condition. I drive a 1994 Jeep Wrangler, the last year with square headlights. Hubby drives a 1998 Nissan Sentra. We purchased both with cash.
It feels so awesome that we have no loan payments. In fact the only monthly bill we have is our cell phone service & I can cancel that anytime.
We do have insurance & taxes of course, but the rent we receive pays all those expenses 🎉🧐🤑🤠
Excellent tips!! EXCELLENT!!!!!
Just a point: Federal money market rates are 5,25%. This is available in Vanguard.
PP you crack me up with your “dog conversations”! 😂
Rocky is soooooo adorable!! The sweetest doggies!! We had to put our sweet mastiff down last week. Love every minute of them.
I paid off all hospital bills, no credit card bills, house and car are paid for,THEN my husband died, since May Social Security has not paid me anything. about ready to lose house, got rid of my hearing aids, canceled my life insurance, cable bill down and going to turn off my telephone.Don't have the money to go out and buy a smart tv. My rent takes everything but 200.00 How do you manage? No a/c (heat is 95 in Fla.) hot water heater off, no washer, no dish washer. no lights on at night, unplugged everything not in use. trying to rent bedroom/bath. I would like to have 1,400.00 a month, try 998.00? So lost.
If your house is paid for, why are you paying rent?
🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I'm not wearing any pants!!!
Hahaha that im not wearing any pants got me laughing 😊
Mt wife is holding us both back financially with her atrocious spending habits and accumulated debt. I need to take control back and get my own bank account. If i lived on my own I would be debt free and have some savings. She is a huge anchor to me and gets defensive when I try to bring up debt clearance.
Happy wife happy life😊
I bought the Deeno power station you reviewed. I am using it now. Thank you for the review.
Money issues are the number 1 reason for divorce.
I feel for you; that sounds stressful!
@@williamread8186A happy wife also knows when her hubby's needs and any children's are met more or less equally. Might need marital counseling to try and get things back in balance.
No pants here. Just my undies. It has been so hot at 7800 feet elevation!
Invested in S & P first, years ago and sadly sold out, but that is solid advice and I will be investing in them this fall when work picks up again. Thanks for ringing that bell in my brain! Fun times with the pups, always look forward to that as do my doggies. Read the book and shared with a friend, ordered another copy so I could read it again - highly recommend! Love and appreciation from Ohio.
Yes your microphone sounds very high pitched and echoing. Just want to be helpful. Love your channel!
Turn your volume down. I'm not getting feedback.
@@danicegewiss862 I didn’t say I heard feedback. I hear a echo and her voice is much higher pitched than her other videos. That’s not feedback.
@@danicegewiss862 Jimi Hendrix, is that you?
you crack me up the intro and end so funny. thanks for the giggles! the other stuff is good too, lol...
Great video, as always. I especially like the last couple of minutes. 💖💗💕
Lol. No pants 😂, you're so funny
Thank you! 😊
Great advice! Thanks!
Thx for doing this and sharing. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you - great info!
Hi I just subscribed, plus I told my son who is an adult to take a look at this video. I already live exactly like you have described here and I have since pre-Covid times. I cut my own hair and do not get my nails done at a shop. I may go out 4 or 5 times in the whole year for dinner or breakfast. I was driving a 1998 Toyota Camry, but it started to need too much work so I saved a third down on a minivan so I can haul donations to the goodwill in it, decluttering my house. My son swears he will pay me back and wants me to lend him money to buy a house.
He swears he will pay me back, Dave Ramsey says to consider it a gift. I am already old. This is a gift most likely that I will not be able to repay in my lifetime, but I am going to lend it to be a good Mom, and I own this decision. I am not the entitlement genre you mention. I own my decision to lend money, my fault, my problem!
I love my 2008 corolla and will be sad to see it go. I live in the rust belt or is probably keep it forever
It's so sad when you live in the rust belt. You can have a 20 year old car with 100,000 miles on it that's engine and transmission are solid but the rust makes you have to take it to the junk yard.
My pants are on, my bra is off. Lol♥
Make sure you wear pants if answering door , or stand up on Zoom call 😮
Love the video Prepper Princess no disrespect but I can I have more Rocky and Nala videos pleeease !! 😘🤗
Thank you 🙏 Awwww, sweet baby Nala is ADORABLE 🩷💕😍😍😍
Love the vibrant colors, place looks good!
Thanks again. I learned a long time ago SS would cut it thus creating alternate incomes. I love your channel
Wearing my favorite jeans, all week long
Great advice. Beautiful dog's ❤
A piece of sensible advice, as always ❤
One of the best and sensible videos out there !
Nala& Rocky... Best advice I've gotten in a while. 👍
300k, very good! disagree on the good debt bad debt, but understand your point.
