Oh Angie, it's so fantastic to see you back and so primed ready to go with your new set up. I wish I could jump through the screen and plant a big kiss on your cheek! x
You are so organised! I think this has inspired me to do a video showing my area and storage, you would laugh your head off! Everything is piled up in random boxes, drawers and shelves and I don't know where anything is, I have prosthetics and bald caps wedged in with nail polish and phone chargers! It would give you nightmares :)
I have that exact same tower for my make-up! I bought some little things, also from Ikea, that I put in there. They're these little plastic inlays, I think they're actually for spicejars, but all my eyeshadows(I prefer loose eyeshadows, so I have an insane amount of tiny pots) lies perfectly in there. It's the best purchase I ever made. Also, I have a pug. Felt like I should add that, because that makes me feel awesome =p
I hate to say anything negative because I just ADORE you, but yes I do think the lighting is off as well. It's hazy...almost like some sort of softening filter is on with a greenish yellow hue. But I LOVE the set up! It's so organized and chic!
The area is soooo neat, and I really like your carpet ;o))) I also see the images all washed in a yellowish tone, but I'm sure you'll be able to fix it, I'm so glad you are back on line ;o)
The filming of the actual furniture is very clear, but I feel like the filiming on you in the beginning is very fuzzy (on top of the yellow-y colouration of your skin that others mentioned). LOVE the set up, my gosh, that rug!! :) Looking forward to your Halloween tutorials, you have no idea, I can't wait for them each year!
I'm not sure if anyone suggested but you can use a white poster board above your head and in your lap to reflect more light all the way around. LIghting is a bear. I'm still working on it myself.
Ohmygosh! We're so alike!! lol. You're such a huge inspiration to me. So please, Don't ever stop doin your thing because you're extremely talented and I believe it will take you far :) if it hasn't already.
Hey Angie, i am loving your new set up and i am jealous of your makeup collection, especially all the Sugarpill goodies. The lighting seemed really good while you were showing us your set up but when the camera was on your lovely face it seemed a bit blurry. Oh yeah, your British accent rocks ;) xx
I'm of the same opinion as the top commenter. You look yellow and blurry, but I wondered if the yellow-yness is the color of the wall behind you. But I see that you found out an answer to the problem with the blur, so maybe it will fix the yellow too That having been said... I want your setup so badly. It looks like heaven.
I'm not sure if it's just me, but you're coming out very yellow-hazy. I liked it a lot better before, you looked much more clear and the colors were less yellow-ed. Your skin looks almost jaundiced....the space is super duper cute, and I love the sea foam color!!
Luv the behind the scenes vid. Im in the process of getting my equipment to start my channel and u have helped me out alot. I saw the canon on your desk but what kind of camera where u filming with?
Hey girly! Where did you get the softboxes from? I've been looking on Amazon and found a few with good reviews, but not sure which ones to get..Thanks :) ♥ Tisch from Rocksterize xx
The color of your wall is giving off a yellow green cast and might affect the accuracy of colors in your tutorials. I had this problem before in my photographs and it's very difficult to fix even in photoshop. Anyway, love the way you organized your makeup/work area. Noticed a lot of beauty gurus are using the same soft boxes minus the white front cover and I'm wondering why. I've always used my soft boxes w/ the white front esp. during portraits bec it makes the skin look flawless =)
lighting does like a little hazy like some of the other people mentioned and a tad bit yellow very little though , the main thing i would say is the clarity is not 100%
Yeah the lighting is a bit weird, almost a bit dreamy-looking. Which is nice and all, but not when you want to see all the details of your make-up ^^ So basically, I want better details and focus... if that makes sense
Something is slight off with your lighting and I don't know what it is exactly. It's like it needs to be tweaked ever so slightly. You should ask someone that really know lighting. I'm quite sure someone on yt can assist you. I love the set up a lot!
could you do a more sexy, sultry swamp thing tutorial? something that says "oh yes, come into my swamp, let me lure you into my little mushroom hut so that i can eat you later"???? lol. idk. swampy, mossy, seaweedy, green, sexy, dark, evil..... something. i haven't seen ANY tutorials like that on youtube so far. lotsa mermaids, lotsa ugly swamp creatures, but nothing really what i'm looking for
Bulletproof is my favorite black eyeshadow of all time! Most pigmented eyeshadow I have ever tried :)
Oh my, a makeup AND computer corner! That's like one of my dreams, I would love to have it that way.
I like the lighting personally !! And it is one of te most nice set up I have seen on UA-cam!!
You obviuosly put a lot of work into your setup, so good for you! The container store is GREAT!
I love your set up! I can't wait to move so I can have more of a professional set up!
"Wouldn't be the south without a mason jar"!! So true! I just came across your channel and I already love your videos!! Thanks!!
I'm so glad you're back. Love your tutorials. I've learned lots from you. Keep it up. Love the new look in your area.

Oh Angie, it's so fantastic to see you back and so primed ready to go with your new set up. I wish I could jump through the screen and plant a big kiss on your cheek! x
Thanks love! I think I have figured out what is wrong. I fiddled with the settings on my camera and it was in soft focus mode.
Awesome set up, I love your aesthetic!!
I have a ton of NYX makeup, I use it in my kit and it's stored in my train cases.
I'm so glad you're back I think you're great.

I can't wait for your Halloween Tutorials girl! I used your scary doll one from last year for my costume. You are my favorite!

When the lights are directly on you, its hazy and weird. But when youre filling the liquids area, its crystal clear
I hate to say anything negative because I just ADORE you, but yes I do think the lighting is off as well. It's hazy...almost like some sort of softening filter is on with a greenish yellow hue. But I LOVE the set up! It's so organized and chic!

Thanks Angie!!! Cool video!!! Got some ideas from you! Time to remodel! Lol
Light is off. Too yellow ad blurry but I'm happy just seeing ur vids and I'm sure the light thingy will evolve looking forward to the journey
I think you need to change your background color. Everything is looking green? I know its boring but white might be better?? Love your videos!!
The color of your wall is giving off a yellow green cast and might affect the accuracy of colors in your tutorials. were did you get the soft boxs and how much u paid ???
I agree :)
Very nice :)
so much green! lol
Very nice
I think it was just a regular ring. It looked like a bow ring or a butterfly ring or something.
It does look a little foggy..maybe if you mix the studio light with natural light! It would work and look a lot better..natural light is best..
What do you use to edit your videos?
Oh I found it. Thank you :)
noooo issue
lighting does like a little hazy like some of the other people mentioned and a tad bit yellow very little though , the main thing i would say is the clarity is not 100%
Yeah the lighting is a bit weird, almost a bit dreamy-looking. Which is nice and all, but not when you want to see all the details of your make-up ^^ So basically, I want better details and focus... if that makes sense
whats the mirror?
Why don't you have a mac monitor? ; )
Something is slight off with your lighting and I don't know what it is exactly. It's like it needs to be tweaked ever so slightly. You should ask someone that really know lighting. I'm quite sure someone on yt can assist you. I love the set up a lot!
Fun video :). But yeah you look faded/blurry and yellow. Cant be easy fixing the light. Love your green room otherwise ;) keep up the good work!
You are yellow and it looks cloudy. Try a blue filter.
The lighting is a bit bright and washed out but everything else is great!
wao....I'm happy for you...:-)
could you do a more sexy, sultry swamp thing tutorial? something that says "oh yes, come into my swamp, let me lure you into my little mushroom hut so that i can eat you later"???? lol. idk. swampy, mossy, seaweedy, green, sexy, dark, evil..... something. i haven't seen ANY tutorials like that on youtube so far. lotsa mermaids, lotsa ugly swamp creatures, but nothing really what i'm looking for
