This is how it was when I met Trump backstage at a studio many many years ago. The man was loud and talked to the whole room and said some ignorant sounding stuff but underneath the bluster his policies are spot on. I met him when I was 17 years old and he spoke to me briefly and asked me what I had in mind for my future and gave me advice and talked to me with respect. I will never forget that. Is there anyone who ever worked closely with Trump during his Presidency that remains with him now? From what I recall quite a few quit or were fired early on, and having read several of the books about the period I was shocked at just how many of the people he took on as close advisors and senior figures ended up having huge bust ups with him or just quitting due to the chaos in which he tends to work. Apart from family members (and even some of them ended up disillusioned or taking back seats), does anyone last longer than a few months or years? Is there anyone who ever worked closely with Trump during his Presidency that remains with him now? From what I recall quite a few quit or were fired early on, and having read several of the books about the period I was shocked at just how many of the people he took on as close advisors and senior figures ended up having huge bust ups with him or just quitting due to the chaos in which he tends to work. Apart from family members (and even some of them ended up disillusioned or taking back seats), does anyone last longer than a few months or years? How long before there is some dramatic falling out with Vance, and he quits, or is fired?
