Finished the rest of the topic 3 video and first 15 mins of this video during breakfast 😆 I fully understand that active recall is very important but I am trying to integrate my revision into my meals (in a relaxing way) Plus, I try my best to recall and predict what you are going to talk about XD Edit: Now I have finished the rest of the video during lunch heheh
Okay, so I’m revising all of biology two months away from my exam using this information- I will let you know what I get!!! EDIT - I got an A* and not because of this video, I got it because of UPLEARN!!!
Hey! on 15:07 you mentioned that the protein folds in the Golgi apparatus - I thought it would fold in the cisternae of the RER or if it's a free ribosome in the cytoplasm>
I'm in yr 12 rn and I'm hopefully looking to achieve an A* but still not sure whether to use uplearn or is it just a waste of time please if anyone tried it can you let me know if i should rely on it
I use it for chemistry and it is really good but it is better for little and often rather than all at the end so don't rely on it for year 12 exams it would probs be more useful for year 13 and going over content in the summer😊😊
I use it for biology and physics and it's really good, i would recommend because it explains topics really well and there is a lot of detail in extra knowledge that isn't always in the textbook, but comes up in exam questions. although you do need to use it every day to see progress
i use it for biology and psychology, bio has way less detailed videos than psychology which is annoying. i got mine on my ehcp due to disabilities causing me to have to take lots of time off school and for me it is helpful, but for someone in school full time i'm not sure if it's worth it given the price tbh just depends if you're willing to spend that much money on it i guess, hope this helps!
It has to be said, this stuff is quite a difficult area to grasp, especially if you jump right into it just as I have done…it really takes some thinking about what I’m reading….otherwise it seems like meaningless jargon ! 🤔
12 hours before the exam am i cooked blud

I'm ready have broad understanding and amusing time with your video and I dream many days to see such a strong teacher face to face.

Absolute savior! I have my Unit 4 this Friday and you just saved my exam ! Thank you so much
ahhh good luck!!!
I would also add disruptive selection. the extremes are favoured over the modal
Hey this is true, but weirdly for AQA it isn't taught until topic 7!
thanks so much for this just made all my flash cards from topic 1-4
amazing!!!!
At 12:17 should this be RNA nucleotides?
My AS exam is tmr and im watching this vid rn
Good luck!!!!
got a test for this topic tomorrow!! wish me luck 🤞
Good luck!
How did it go?
you are the best thanks so much
You're welcome!
Going through every topic in hopes for knowing something for the essay p3 question tommrow
Hey! on 15:07 you mentioned that the protein folds in the Golgi apparatus - I thought it would fold in the cisternae of the RER or if it's a free ribosome in the cytoplasm>
tysm for this video! you're the best!
hi!! i was wondering if you know a biology teacher called gareth? :)
haha nope, unless you mean a certain UA-cam celebrity?
does this cover all the spec points?
yes, a summary of each spec point
You didnt talk about how atp is used in the transcription and translation
She spoke about atp in translation
Do you have a list of all the definitions we could be asked in our biology exams?
Not currently but I'm planning on making. a set of flashcards that covers this this summer ready for Autumn 2022
@@MissEstruchBiology yayyy
Is 3.3 for the diversity index considered high or low?
low/middle

Chemistry is amazing but biology is a bit pointless

LOL good luck bro
Thank you so much for this video!!
You're welcome 😊 Good luck!
No mention of the founder and bottleneck effect?
Those aren't on the AQA specification
@@MissEstruchBiology it is , ive even seen it on a mark scheme before .
Thank you for the video!
May I ask if these videos contain absolutely everything that we have to know from each topic?
They cover all the key concepts, but I explain them in more detail in the invididual videos
hi just to confirm, whats the highest mark a low tarrif Q can be on the paper 1 on Thursday?
there is no exact number exam boards have given. Based on the Physics A level paper, 3 marks
@@MissEstruchBiology thank you for taking the time to give me such a speedy response, and for all your hard work.
I was watching this late at night and all of a sudden the google ad came blasting full volume I almost had a heart attack
12:25, doesn’t RNA polymerase facilitate the unzipping? As shown in the diagram
No, that is DNA helicase. RNA polymerase joins adjacent RNA nucleotides
@@MissEstruchBiology thank you!
Can I learn everything on advance info in 2 months and at least get a B in biology ???
If you're willing to put the effort and practise in you could
Ur the best
ah thank you!
jus wondering, is this information sufficient?
hey these are summarise of the entire spec, my individual videos of each topic go into more detailed explanations in places.
22:30
22:00
4:03
Omg this but modules 5 and 6
Already made, have a look at my 'entire topics playlist)

hey this is the summary video, but if you go to the topic 4 playlist there is a detailed video for every topic.
on translation I think steps 4 and 5 are the wrong way round
