1:40:14 in my opinion you shouldve put the lung thoracic volume before the lung pressure on the table. Because in inspiration, lung thoracic cavity increases but pressure decreases which makes a pressure gradient so air can flow in, it just makes more sense and its easier to wrap your head around in that order
18:23 you should say the active site becomes complementry to the substrate (Then if you want you can say this puts stress or strain on the bonds depending if a substrate is being formed or broken which lowers the activation energy for the reaction to occur)
gotta get some more essay practice for paper 3 done, and like 2 practicals I’m a little sketchy on, ngl paper 2 was kinda nice AQA defo cooking up some wack shi for paper 3 tho

Thanks miss! One question, for a reducing sugar can we just say the colour change is blue to brick red ppt. Or do we NEED to mention all the colours it changes to?
Thank you for the video! Something that always bugged me was- how do the carrier proteins change their shape to accommodate molecules without using energy? I'd have guessed that for any physical change some sort of energy was required. One of the things that keeps me up sometimes
@@theaizerei just learnt that for facilitated diffusion, they do use energy, but just not energy from ATP but internal energy that they already attain.
hi. where do you cover all the practicals for AQA a level biology? Plus the maths skills? I also struggle with answering questions as the mark scheme is so specific. do you have any links which i can use?
I would learn them yeah. Just for alpha and beta glucose chains- helps you understand the bonding and good to drop into answers especially on paper 3. Not explicitly mentioned on the spec tho so it’s up to you

Hi @MissEstruchBiology at 2:26:27 I'm confused I thought the solution would move through the phloem from the source to the sink please?
Are polyploidy and aneuploidy on the spec? As I cant find any mention of aneuploidy in the AQA textbook
polyploidy yes, aneuploidy you don't need to know the name

thanks for this its really helpful! just one question, do we need to know the positioning of glycosidic bonds in polysaccharides
yes, the 1,4 and 1,6 is needed

yes! One a week
