Yes, I love this. I typically teach group reformer classes, so have been working on teaser with clients on that apparatus. But my goal is to take clients to the trap table for this. Maybe a circuit of some kind... thanks for doing this series! Your explanations and cues for connecting to your body are always super helpful for my personal practice as well. 🙌🏻

I love the idea of doing a circuit to help them learn the Reformer version better. I do think the Reformer one is the most supportive but with the moving platform there is a lot to coordinate. I have some tips for the Reformer version on my onlinepilatesclasses.com Keep me posted on how the circuit goes! Happy Teaser-ing! xx~LL

great lesson - why are arms long before spine rolls up? I was taught head nod as bar passess forehead , then begin spinal articulation up as arms reach simultaneously (Stott) :) So just curious about the difference. Thanks.

Hi Todd, great question, I can't really speak to how others teach this exercise. But, in the training I've done the arms are connected to the back so as they reach up it helps you find the longest length in your flexion. Also, on the Mat when doing Teaser 1 and 3 (and all apparatus was created to support the mat) your arms are straight and reaching up as you go down to continue to lengthen the spine.
Variations have their purposes though. Next time you're on a Cadillac try both options and see what you enjoy in your body or why you might like it for one client but something else for another. :) xx~LL
