the masham pub worked there for 10 year s and 10 year s of pure pleasure met so many sound people which become freinds me geoff bennet who became the manager could write of book full of brilliant characters laughs and tears the mashham was one of the best pubs and i now the lovely people from boro would totally agree
John Wood from pallister Park remember the nights out in late 70s early 80s started off in the jack and jill, the old vick ,jovial munk then into the town centre the Masham the Shakespeare the Wellington then onto a night club the bongo or the maddison depending how much money we had left, i still have a tattoo from sinbades remember loads of the faces new Graham o'mally from pallister Park great lad Rip miss them days, all happy memories

One of my sisters went to Stapylton School with Lee Duffy - had many encounters with him - none of which were pleasant to say the least - I am originally from Grangetown - and - no - before anyone asks - I am not related to Chubby Brown - we are both called Vasey and we’re born in Grangetown, but that’s the only connection!
I was locked up with Lee three times and with Mickey mcquade Keith's brother and met s few of other well known lads from Boro back in the day how times have changed though the whole of the UK has changed rapidly and not necessarily for the better

Life is cheap now there's some out there will cut your throat over ten quid these days and they take certain areas over and make you uncomfortable in your own country I ain't racist one iota but it's going to get worse before it gets better and that's of course if it ever will get better
@@johnwilson783 I'm the son a immigrant, but my family are Boro bred,but it is ridiculous with the immigrant situation, we are only small town, don't know how much we can, n by the way my dad came from Jamaica when he was 16 n died when he was 77 n he was very proud 2 be Jamaican, just as I am proud 2 be half Jamaican n half English UTFB.
I worked in the europa making parmos all fckn night in 1990 marc dinello was the owner it was rough as fck seen alot of fights in there it was mad full of prostitutes and gangsters best parmos in boro 😁

Dr Browns, opposite Cineworld. Currently closed. Used to be a designated away pub on match days.
