Aww, I was hoping since it was a standalone review this one would have gone a lot better, Purcell's books always catch me since the premises are good and physical book object is so pretty! Sounds like it was a bit more of the same, with the prose and some of the themes being on point, but the pacing being off and too quick ending, what a bummer - you saved me another meh one I think tho, as I was willing to give her another go as well.

I found this book really frustrating as I was not entirely sure what the ending truly meant. Anyone care to enlighten me please? Luckily, I bought it for 50p in a charity shop and, I am obviously going to donate back them to too. Win-win situation. Won't be looking out any of this author's books in the future either.
Yes it really was a frustrating read in parts. I'm passing on anything by her in the future.
