I have a super special knit dress to share today. It’s the Yasmin dress from Sinclair patterns and it’s not a one hour sew… not hard… it just has lovely details that are worth the extra dedication.
You’ll see how to sew the entire bodice today, including the micro pleats, the V neckline facing, the curved waistband pieces and as extra: a partially lined bodice. Lots of sewing to see as always.

Specifics
*size 16 tall file
*ITY knit
*Sleeveless but using the regular armscye that would have a sleeve. Adjusted the length of the binding accordingly
*the back of the bodice is lined and side seams are enclosed as extra steps
*I chose the gathered skirt option
*Inner waistband is heavier cotton Lycra
