If you want to turn your followers on to the best NEW rock band in the last decade react to Blacktop Mojo. Their singer Matt James is phenomenal. They formed in 2014 I believe it was. They first gained attention with a release on UA-cam of an Aerosmith cover of Dream On which quickly reached 5 MILLION VIEWS. Their originals are also great. Can’t Sleep, It Won’t Last, and Taillights are some of my favorites. Oh, and of course Dream On.

He is from Denmark 🇩🇰, same nation where Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich is from. Vito Bratta lists late Eddie van Halen, RIP, as an influence. White Lion broke up 2x, the 2nd time permanently. twins- this guitarist has a cult following many including myself rate him higher than EVH he is arguably the greatest guitarist to come out of the hair metal era. Sadly he injured his wrist but am told it has healed but he has been out of the music business for 30 years and fans to this day hope he would return. Other kick ass hard rocking bands to check out are DOKKEN, FIREHOUSE, WARRANT, KIX, BRITNY FOX, BANG TANGO, SKID ROW. And that is just the starter package. Most of these bands mentioned above, along with White Lion, came out from the mid 1980s to early 1990s.
I agree. UA-cam is strangely void of reactions to some great bands - like Firehouse, Warrant, Asia, Matchbox 20... the list is extensive. Let alone all of the the one-hit wonders we all loved!
I commented on your reaction to wait so i thought ud share a different story with this song. I played bass in a band and we threw a TON if partys that drew a large military crowd. There was a Gurl who was a sildier named Tricia that i chas d and and chased for a year with no results... one party broke up early and we had a few straglers and my brother started playing this on 🎸. Drummer kicks in.. our singer left already so i grabbed a mic and sang this .. . Tricia was there watching ... 30 mins later we were bith in the shower .... i was a singer frim that night on
The 80s hard rock bands / hair bands if you will made so many incredibly catchy songs. Basically pop songs covered up with cool guitar riffs and sounds
White Lion was a very underrated band that unfortunately was a little late to the hair metal scene, they came out just as that genre was starting to decline and a few years before grunge would start to take over. Pride was their 2nd album, and came out in 1987. Check out Wait, and When the Children Cry from this same album.
@TwinsReact, here's another recommendation for reaction videos of an underrated 80's Hair Band called "Nelson" formed by twin brothers Matthew and Gunnar Nelson who are the sons of famous musician Ricky Nelson. "Nelson" had the following hits in the 80's : "(Can't Live Without Your) Love and Affection", "After the Rain", "More Than Ever". And these Ballads: "Only Time Will Tell" and "Cross My Broken Heart". I recommend checking Nelson out and you both resemble Matthew and Gunnar a little bit as they looked in the 80's with your facial features.
White Lion was considered back in the day as a Van Halen rip off band. Their lead singer copied David Lee Roth, and their lead quitarist copied Eddie Van Halen.
uh no. A lot of bands had blonde singers.. But they're nothing like VH. White Lion mostly wrote songs about world events even more on the political side of things, VH did not. DLR was a very flashy dancing type lead singer, Mike Tramp was not. Vito is nothing like EVH, they both have completely different styles, yes Vito tapped a lot, when the songs melody called for it, notice here in this song "Tell Me" not one tap was used in the solo of this song, but he also was known for Sweep picking, harmonics, etc what made Vito stand out wasn't his tapping skills, it was his melodies. but a lot of players during the 80's and even before EVH was doing the tapping thing and making it popular, and really the reason EVH gets "credited" w/ the tapping thing is because of Mtv. People world wide got to see those early 80's videos and see what he was doing, but they weren't a soft VH by any means, technically as I mentioned before their lyrics and song content was "heavier" than VH's
Finally some White Lion. Other great songs from them are "Broken Home", "Lady Of The Valley", "Little Fighter" and "Broken Heart".
And "Don't Give Up", "Sweet Little Lovin", "Fight To Survive", "Warsong", "Goin' Home Tonight", "Livin' On The Edge" and "Love Don't Come Easy".

Vito Bratta was a phenomenal player. His best solo (considered by many) is the solo in "Little Fighter". The solo in "Wait" is a close 2nd.
