I don't usually feel sad for the dead of someone I didn't knew, even with people I know it's not that big of a deal. But I'll miss him, I feel sorry that he never got to reach the final line in his achivements, and I wish his story wouldn't hav ended so soon.... The Correspondents has been my favourite band for a few years now, and the music's been with me through so many distinct moments of my life. Helped me through more bad times then I'll ever care to mention. My first ever concert was one of yours - and I remember that Chucks was ill that day (he'd apparently been excited for that one, since I think it was mentioned he grew up in the area), and obviously I still had a good time, but the next time I got to see you, he was actually there, and I was so excited about that?? And maybe it seems silly now, but... it meant a lot to me. It still does. I was only a face in the crowd, but a crowd of people who will miss him. My condolences to everyone who knew him personally, I am so sorry to hear about this. And many thanks for the beautiful eulogy - he'll live on in things like that, in the years of beautiful, much loved music he created.

Many years ago, back in 2007 at Woolfire Festival in Hampshire, Tim played a swing set - I think largely on shellac - on the back of a tractor trailer, then came and hung out with the crew at the sound desk after his set, drank a few beers with us, and lamented the generic dance music that followed him. A year later you both came and played the dance tent, as The Correspondents. I was running the lighting, and suddenly realised that the quiet passionate guy from the year before was the one currently banging out swing beats on the stage behind you to a packed out, and incredibly sweaty, tent. I vividly remember the reactions of everyone when the bassline on There She Goes Again dropped, and having the Jungle Book in my head for days after. You both absolutely blew the roof off the place that night, and any time I saw you afterwards. This is a beautiful eulogy, I'm so sorry for your loss x.

Your music--your, of course, meaning both of you, even in Tim's absence--has gotten me through many a stressful night and tedious car ride alike. Tim was present in my darkest hours and in the shortest, most mundane moments, holding up every passing lyric. I was crushed to see his image on a video titled as a eulogy, but to realize his likeness to me made the loss all the more difficult. I can't even imagine how it must be for you. At the same time, though, I commend you for making the loss so difficult for me to learn about. That difficulty means that with this eulogy, you succeeded in condensing your memory into his likeness, and, in doing so, you've made him come alive. My condolences and love to both you and him.

Your music--your, of course, meaning both of you, even in Tim's absence--has gotten me through many a stressful night and tedious car ride alike. Tim was present in my darkest hours and in the shortest, most mundane moments, holding up every passing lyric. I was crushed to see his image on a video titled as a eulogy, but to realize his likeness to me made the loss all the more difficult. I can't even imagine how it must be for you. At the same time, though, I commend you for making the loss so difficult for me to learn about. That difficulty means that with this eulogy, you succeeded in condensing your memory into his likeness, and, in doing so, you've made him come alive.

Well this is a sucker punch of emotional whiplash. I was literally just listening to their songs and wondering if there was anything new on their UA-cam page... I'm sorry for your loss. The world of music is a much lesser place without him.
