Expectation: Arknights offline.
Reality: Metal gear solid, Re:zero, Elfen lied, Edge of tomorrow and lot of depression. ☠ Starting Chapter 4, and so far having a blast.
...hope someone take this art and gameplay and create a whole world that you can play as different factions/nations with each faction have their own squads...
Story is awesome, YZ and his team did great job.

Its cool you mention this game being defensive oriented and it makes sense that it is. You're deep in enemy territory with no backup and always staving off ambushes during the game, so being able to be gun hoe and super agressive isnt realistic and its one of the aspects i love and appreciate of the game.

What is the length of this game
Wqs waiting for this about a year since I saw it...I loved the art that saw in the trailer and was hoping for something with valkyria chronicles vibes just with different gameplqy...I started playing this last night...
Did 3 or 4 battles those that are like tutorial...and I am confused...
I read somewhere about 60 stages (guess leveles/maps) and about 100 hours...OK!...
...but I also saw somewhere q list of the chapters that says 4 (in another list I saw 2 chapters but let's go with 4)... And in that list the names of the battles I played last night covers the whole first chapter...
WTF... I played 25% on the game in 20 minutes???? That doesn't seem wright... I am tottaly confused...
Chapter 4 has about 30 levels alone, you're in the setup phase, if you've finished Chapter 1 you'd understand the gimmick they're going for.
Chapter 1 is the tutorial chapter. Every other chapter will have more and more stages from now on.

That's the difference between a gacha game and a buy-out game. Gacha game, you have to allow the player to click through fast, hence auto-play. Buy-out game, players can play only when they have time and take years to complete a game.

nope, alot more than 2, in the video its just the early stages of the game
you do realize this is not a spinoff, but actually part of the lore, The first 2 games prior to this was not part of GFL lore, but this version of Reverse Collapse is fully integrated within GFL Lore, Project Neural Cloud takes place before GFL 1 Takes place, and Reverse Collapse Takes place in the future after GFL 2 (aka after gfl 1, gfl 2 isnt released yet). The order of games go by PNC, GFL 1, GFL 2, RC. Since the Warsaw incident was also mentioned in GFL 1 too if I am not wrong, and we know Lunasia exists in GFL 1, not going to go into lore but yeah, not a spinoff, but part of the actual game and lore.

Honestly i tried to play this but there is a reason it feels 10 years old. The game just throws tons of enemies at you without rime or reason and it just becomes a clusterfuck / tedious
I know people love to slam their heads against walls, but I will just watch a video of the cutscenes :/
Aren't you playing against a numerically superior enemy deep within their territory? To each to their own I guess, there are peeps who like asymetrical combat.
