At the beginning of this video with the " shop sound" , I couldn't here anything and nearly left. Later, The "voice-over/narration"
made this a Must Watch video ! Excellent skilled teacher here !
Ivan the man. Just finished watching metal shop masters and found out you have a youtube channel cant wait to go throught your videos
hahah good to see Americans being cool without being tacky. Cool Videos Ivan thanks
Well done ! You Sir are a true Craftsman !😎
Beautifully done, relaxed and efficient delivery. Thank you
Thanks...you are one of the very to explain what you are doing. Excellent craftsmanship. Beautiful blade. Thanks again.
Instead of drilling and filling the antler to fit the tang you can boil the antler and push it into the tang it will both get the exact shape you need and the antler will act as a glue when it is hot
aidan rico Nice, I’ve never tried that. I will, thank you

vuen video gracias desde California thank-you
Золотые руки и художественный талант,респект.
That chain holder is dope af

Nice knife, I like it! It is simple and elegant.
Glad I saved the extra springs from the 97 Dakota when I lifted the rear sag out of my 97 XJ Jeep! got something to do with them now!
Ooooohhh man!! Once you started that blower motor, it looked like a rocket engine just ignited.. super cool :)
Beautiful blade you are very good with that grinder to.
That was awesome
Nice mate. Love the style a bit different Thanks for the video . Take it easy.
Awesome .You got a unique style all your very own! Damn cool knife too !
Thanks, Steersman! You'll be excited to know then, we plan on making a bunch more knives in the very near future!
How much for a knife like that but the crown of the antler at the other end
Say, Ivan, you can boil an antler after a good 24 hour soak and it softens up and you can bend it straight . You clamp it in a vise or with clamps until it dries out. You don't have to use them bent. Keep it up
Nice, thank you!
Man I mean this was a professional knife build...subscribed my friend and thank You!!!
Awesome 🔪
Hahahahaha....how deceptively easy you made that all look.....the true mark of genius!
I really enjoyed the video. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing. Good video showing ingenuity and excellent craftsmanship. I think it would make it easy for you to use a 2x72 grinder, just a comment.
That is pretty kewl.
Thanks!!
Very nice knife man. I just ran across ur channel. I definitely hit the sub looking forward to seeing more of ur wrk. I have always been a sucker for antler handles. Thats what i make 90% of my knives with lol. Awesome job!!!!
¸superbe travaille , Awsome! Awsome , Awsome , merci de partager , thank`s 4 sharing .
Fantastic video, if I was to use an old file, would I have to quench an temper it?
Regards from Ireland 🇮🇪
Nice...
Que buena que lindo
now you need to make a fancy leather sheath for it
Haha, that was the intent! Wish we had a little more time and we would have.. though it was a Christmas gift and we had to get it done. On the next knife we make we will! We plan on making a lot more of them. We'll be doing some pocket knives, spring-loaded, and swords in the near future. :)
You can easily straighten antler. How to is all over youtube.
Excellent craftsmanship on that knife Ivan and thank you for keeping it simple and to the point. It is rare to see anyone making a knife handle from antler, at least in my life. Good snug fit on that handle too.
I can appreciate this since this knife I own has an antler handle that rolls on it when in the hand but does not fall apart, still a good knife minus the fitting of that handle.
Have you tried the proper way to forging out your bevels? Angling you blade upon your anvil and the angle of your hammer swing to the same angle of the bevel you desire to form? How is you elbow and wrist? Do you use you shoulder muscles to lift and swing your hammer to your work and not your wrist or for-arm?
Good 👍
Oh man what a beauty of knife, where van I buy it?
Badass!
I like your multitool and scissor pocket pouch. Maybe you could give more info on that? have you made it yourself?
Sniz2009 Hahahaha yes. I’ll have to do some more on leather work
If I had all those taps I would die!
Alex Duke Hahahaha nice;)
How much do you charge to make a knife I have the steel and deer antler already? Steel is shaped to some what s Bowie knife I also have the antler
Nice knife I’ve noticed that you also have great leather working skills do you by chance make a sheath for the knife so what’s the price tag a it
OMG look it that forging lol
WOW,very nice. How much would one of those knives go for?
Saint Bigal about $800 is what I get for one like this
Guy sounds like George Clooney lol.
I love the look of the knife, but could you have put a deerhoof on the very bottom ,just saying because I have never seen it don't before and I don't know if it can be done,I think it would be a great new look, what do you think?!?!
Jason Pettit yeah that could be done
