    I hate delayed payments.
    My first (and still only) credit card was the Amazon store card. I got it super young, like 18. And I've had it for seven years. My history with that card, I think that was why I was able to get the car I have now. Considering adding on a credit card sometime this summer, because I think I can handle having another card. I want to use it for gas/groceries and things!
    I love saving and budgeting! It's so fun when you finally have substantial money to move. I also live at home. I honestly hate it, but I've been able to stack so much money, that it's been worth it. I'm also in graduate school and paying it out of pocket...My goal is to move out in November, pay off my car before I turn 30, and payoff my school loans as soon as possible lmao

    What saved me and allowed me to save so much my first year of teaching was moving back home to my parent's house.

    You get $46k??!?! holy moly that is awesome. In Ohio, we only start about $35k.

    So many awesome financial goals! My husband and I are moving at the end of May. We plan on upgrading our furniture so I’ve been tracking my spending more than I normally do.

    Can you do a video about WGU? I am looking into masters programs. I am just worried about pricing since online universities still have out of state tuition fees.

    • @HaileyCarvalho
      @HaileyCarvalho  3 роки тому +2

      I can definitely do a video all about WGU! They don’t have out of state tuition! It’s a flat rate of ~$3,600 a semester! ☺️

    First off, great advice! However, what would be your response to the need for a #NationalTeacherMinimumWage so that your advice applied equally to all teachers? Potentially, tuition and student loans are outrageous for everybody but more so for those in states offering poverty wages to teachers.

    Are you unionised? I love our union, they're always renegotiating the rates and conditions 😊

    Also with the delayed payments I always just transfer the money over and let it sit in credit for however long until the two cancel each other out 🤷‍♀️

    • @HaileyCarvalho
      @HaileyCarvalho  3 роки тому

      I wish my credit card let me do that! It doesn’t let me make a payment when my balance is 0!

      @@HaileyCarvalho oh weird. Mine is just like another sub category next to my bank accounts on the bank website so you can transfer as you would to savings or whatever ☺

    Is Masters degree required at your school?

    • @HaileyCarvalho
      @HaileyCarvalho  2 роки тому +3

      In Massachusetts, teachers are required to earn their masters within 5 years of teaching. Technically I am not required to have it right now, but I got it out of the way so I don’t have to worry about it when the time comes ☺️
