Bal/TB Game 2.. TB hit 1 ball out of the infield. Single with 2 outs in the 9th.. literally 1st Rays batter in the 1st had an infield single, everything else was either a K or an out made by an infielder until the 9th.. 26 straight outs.
One note about fWAR, they use FIP a lot more in their calculations, so fWAR will always downplay "out getters", since they don't strike guys out. bWAR for pitchers compares your runs allowed per 9, compares it to the average runs per 9 of your opposition, and then uses innings pitched to find a run value for your pitching, and converts that to a WAR total.
For your Houston bullpen comments, Hader has been so much better recently after his abysmally poor start to the season and I actually go into the 9th expecting the save now. But Pressly absolutely has no right to be pitching in the 8th in average to high leverage situations. He consistently blows games left and right yet Espada still uses him. What needs to happen with Pressly is he needs to be used in the 6th or 7th or when the Astros have at least a 5 run lead.
With that being said however, I can't entirely blame him. Dubon had 2 errors and Yasser Diaz dropped a foul pop up which IIRC continued the inning they happened in an d where runs scored.
The biggest thing with the Cubs is all of the injuries in the line up that they have dealt with over the season. If you look at the past week Happ Suzuki and Dansby are starting to heat up. The bullpen is also completely injured.

i hate playing the royals the mariners blew an 11-0 to them one time i believe in 2022 and blew this 8-0 lead.
