#4 and 5 are the most important to understand. As you get older you realize material items are fleeting. You want to be financially successful so you can buy back your time and spend it how it’s most fulfilling to you. You now have choices. You don’t want to get stuck working dead end jobs you hate just to pay the bills. Work hard early on and learn skills that pay well, invest and then work at something that is fulfilling to you. You can always quit because now you have money to live off of until you find something else rewarding. Also in the end, family and friends are everything. Don’t neglect those relationships.

Kevin O'Leary, we need to hear more of this. I'm 72 and I'm disgusted by the way young men handle themselves! No class. Poor dressers, poor in speech, they cannot articulate their ideas effectively because they have "speech habits", don't have a wide vocabulary. Back in High School in my day we were required to learn dozens of new words every week and then learn to include them during our weekly rhetoric or as we were practicing for our debating competition! Nobody wants to debate anymore because we've been muzzled by this " postmodern" WOKE ideology which has us walking on egg-shells! Nobody reads any more. Everybody is opinionated but is ignorant about too many things. Foul language is "strictly verboten"! If your goal is to adopt the persona of a street hood with lots of tattoos who thinks he's a tough guy then you've already chosen a road that leads to hell.
You better be fit, have a character that shows respect, confidence and some humility, a willingness to go the extra mile if necessary and be able to prove yourself as someone that can make it happen. Being "self-employed" I knew that my work was going to come to me through referrals from previous satisfied customers. I already experienced financial loss because I worked for complete strangers who at times tried to renege on our initial agreement. Nobody goes to Court over a few thousand dollars and so I recognized that my clientele is going to have to be a select group who all knew each other. Being trustworthy was important. Leave their wives and daughters alone and be prepared that at times you'll be tested. Anyway, you Kevin could do seminars on more than just investment. You could turn a bunch of "cowboys" into astute Businessmen with substance!

Great work here by Kevin. Also, 50-60+ should get a cardiologist, and have regular blood work. I also eat what I call super foods and take specific supplements that benefit me tremendously.

However you gauge wealth, money gives you more freedom to do more things with your family, travel, time for yourself. Freedom knowing your secure in many ways, this is more valuable than the big house or car, the later being a liability. Reward yourself as well, your family. It’s a balance.
