Jk T3 is top tier
You all probably dont care at all but does any of you know of a way to log back into an Instagram account..?
I was stupid lost my account password. I love any help you can give me
@Edwin Roger Instablaster =)
@Kendall Creed thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.

@Kendall Creed it worked and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much you saved my ass !
@Edwin Roger no problem :D
YESSS, you have to add vintage Rolex watches. I'm personally looking for a white dial 1601.
Definitely need vintage Rolex in the shop. My perfect everyday watch is my Datejust 41 blue dial with smoothe bezel and oyster bracelet. Very versatile. It can go casual or easily go with a suite. Great video, thanks for sharing! Cheers!
KingMaker Fine taste, sir.
41 is way too big for most men.
@@BPFACTS88 yep, especially with a suit. Small watches always look more elegant. Everything above 38mm that is not a diver will look too bulky.
41 ??? You sir - are an interloper - be gone!
Just watched it because I've got the same model in my workshop right now but in worse condition and the 1570 caliber. After watching your video I think I will keep it because... you are right it's the perfect (versatile) watch 😉
Thanks for showing
In general I love the proportions of the rolex subs, gmt masters and OP, not only because of the lug to lug size, but also of how slim they are, they can easily go under a sleeve ;)
Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 1501 with the Engine-Turned Bezel. Vintage classic from 1964!
I really enjoy your videos and I checked this one today because it covered a subject near and dear to me. I own a vintage Rolex DJ model 1603 with the 1570 (classic) caliber. Can't say for certain the actual date of the watch because Rolex does like to keep the manufacture dates somewhat secret. I figure mine is 1973 or 1974 because of the serial number and they started the 3035 caliber sometime in 1975. I love this watch and it runs very well. I find it quite amazing that this is almost 50 years old and still looks great and functions so well. Also nice to see you talk about a vintage classic icon like these Rolex's. Keep 'em coming.
This and the Explorer are the reference point for me for all watches.
I recently got a SARB015 (Black Alpinist) about a week ago, and I haven't taken it off since! This thing is so damn cool!
Good boy Hog.
I bought a 39mm blue dial Oyster Perpetual 2 years ago and have worn it virtually every single day since I bought it. I also own Omega, Breitling, Tag, Tudor, I could go on but they are all just sitting in a drawer. I love my Rolex.
I bought the black dial version earlier this year, Worn mine pretty much everyday too. To me it’s the perfect everyday watch.
I ... own ... - Shush now.
I have a 114200 in black dial and it's the perfect everyday watch for me, both sporty and dressy with just enough bling. For what many consider on the small side, it has a fair degree of heft to it and the newer generation OPs have a bit of a maxi case. I agree completely with your take on the 34mm. Your watch is beautiful, classy. Would be cool to have it in multiple colors - I came across one fellow on the forums that has three watches - vintage oyster 34mm in different colors. Thanks for the video.
My favorite everyday watch is the skx007. I feel like one can wear that in almost any situation. I like the standard jangly lightweight jubilee. It looks great with almost anything.
Rolex explorer 1 would be my perfect every day watch
1016 if you can get one, Fabulous.
It’s hard to beat simple silver, white or black dialed Rolex as a one-and-done watch. My ideal one-and-done would be an OP36 116000 white dial, or DJ36 126200 oyster-smooth silver dial.
I am but a humble truck driver , but
I would love to own a Rolex like the
🌟 of the show ( maybe w/ black dial ) !! The olny thing is , I'm out of work w/6 broke ribs ! But ,I'd love
to have a vintage Rolls , if You know
what I mean !
Excellent take on this Rolex, I have the two tone version, about the same age.
My daily driver is a manual wind 6694 OysterDate. The minimalist text & short hour markers gives the Dial space. And when you add in the slimmer Case, it all makes for a better proportioned watch with a very comfortable wear.
It’s more than a year I’m looking for one. Now you gave me that little push I needed to pull the trigger. ❤
I love that reference. It's a shame Rolex doesn't make it anymore. And if people say what about the Datejust they don't know what they are talking about. The Datejust is blingy and polished. The Oyster Date is understated. Cheers.
Pretty sure the modern 34mm OP date (115200) is still in production
I just bought a 34mm Tudor oyster date used. It is still on the way and I am nervous about how it will look on my 7.25” wrist, so and I was relieved to hear you say you have a 7.5” wrist and like the fit. And it does look good on you. I have been working my way down in case sizes over the past year. I’m at the point where 40mm seems to me to look like I have a wall clock strapped to my wrist. I thought 36mm was going to be my minimum size till I discovered the oyster date. I’m not sure about white dials, though. They can seem washed out to me when paired with a steel bracelet.
my favorite Rolex is 68278 with a tapestry dial. my perfect everyday watch is one I can wear Monday to Friday at my job. but for weekends something a bit more robust bc I do more than sit at a desk.
I have the same watch! My father gave it to me a couple years ago. He bought it while in the Airforce from a duty free shop for $250 in 1970. Great watch--keeps excellent time, is very robust and wears bigger than you would expect given the dimensions (all points you made in your video). Not a tremendous fan of the folded stainless steel bracelet, but you can't have everything. Perhaps the thing I like the most about it is the weight of the thing. It is extremely light and is like wearing nothing on your wrist.
Meet too same
1500 > 17000 > 1700 > 1600 >16014
The 16014 on fluted bezel and jubilee is the best 36mm version for me. The 1700|17000 Oysterquartz is a very special case of a sleeper.
I'd absolutely love to get my first rolex from TTT shop, and I certainly wouldn't mind the 1500 as my first one.
How do you feel about purchasing an oyster perpetual date that has been serviced? (New hands, polished, etc) does it automatically become a deal breaker? What would a serviced what like this typically sell for?
Hi T3,
Thanks for your videos, I mostly enjoy them.
You convinced me to get the SKX007 which was my first "proper" watch, and now I've just ordered an Air King 5500, which I had been debating with myself to get, but the mere 34mm was tough to "swallow". Seeing the similar Rolex (size wise) on your wrist gave me the final nudge. Have a great week.
Best regards,
René
Do you still own the Air King? Tell us more about it.
@@Rafa-yw8nu sold it a while back. It was a great watch, but I ultimately chose to sell it to get the cash, which I needed at that point. 👌😅
Grateful for this video! I have a Rolex Date 1500 and could not be happier. You’re a legend T3!
Absolutely, Yes
Agreed but also consider to get yourself a vintage Tudor date day Jumbo from the late 60s theese two watches the Rolex 1500 are definitely my two favorites in my watch box 👍 great video thanks.
Well, this is a good candidate for the perfect default everyday watch, but good as it is, it looks a bit dull. I think the best choice would be an old Datejust, with the cool milled bezel.
Would love to see Rolex in the shop. Perfect everyday watch is my Seiko SARB033.
Will definitely be checking on your store
You're absolutely right!!! I have one too!
Great review! My perfect everyday watch is my Rolex OP 2020, silver dial, oyster bracelet, 34 mm. It looks like yours but no date. And I just got it on my hand weeks ago, since then I wear it everyday. I'm in love with it.
Grow up
Now that Rolex prices have been falling, this is the perfect time to pick a mint condition one with a box and papers. My tip is to find one under $5000 and negotiate 10-20% off the price. If you don't have cash, finance it on 10% APR (BUT ONLY IF YOU GOT IT FOR 10-20% LESS THAN MARKET PRICE, FINANCING IS GOOD IF YOU AREN'T AN IDIOT) for 36 months. However, we don't know how low Rolex prices will go. I say wait until market prices creep up by 1-2% over a few months. Then it's time to pounce.
The Rolex oyster precision is my favorite watch
I have 5.8" wrist, and I got the 34mm black OP. it fits perfectly.
my everyday watch is my rolex day date 18k yellow gold, if I want something more sporty I wear my Omega 300 professional with a ceramic dial and co axial movement.
I still love the Cellini Danaos black dial Rolex. I love that dial. It's not automatic but that's the only one I would like to have. It's so classy!
My perfect everyday watch is the Explorer 1
I have the Explorer 2 polar for the weekends
Classy. Somewhat understated. Perfect. 👌🏼
Maybe someday, I will get s Rolex, thinking about an Explorer II. Just bought an Omega Seamaster 300p, and happy, love your comb of serious and sense of humor.
Hey T3, Absolutely yes‼️ Please offer Rolex Timepieces for sale...👍🏽
the perfect Rolex. This or the Oysterquartz. Either way I'd be very happy if I had either in my collection.
I have a 1969 1500, very nice watch. It's on a leather band, what ref number should I look for to get an oyster or jubilee bracelet for it?
I got 15210 as daily. Being surprised how 34mm could be so comfortable and solid.
Another great review brother!
What do you think about the Oysterdate Precision ref. 6694? I have it in the same dial color.
I have my perfect watch which is the new oyster perpetual 34 black dial. I prefer no date but the 1500 is a good perfect watch as well. Mine is new so i dont worry about it to much
Yes, please add to your store!
You posting this video is a sign. I was planning to get a Rolex Date 15200. Thanks Time Teller!
The "perfect everyday watch" would have to be one that (1) is well-built, (2) has a day/date comp, (3) is fairly affordable in terms of purchase price & maintenance.
OP 36, blue dial with 3,6,9 markers is my perfect and versatile daily. In fact I seem to get withdrawal syndrome if I don’t wear it for more than a couple of days 🤪
Love it. Simple . Class. I have op circa 93 . Always will
That would be awesome if you added some Rolex watches. Especially if they were T3 guaranteed👍 current grail 126300
My favorite everyday watch is the Explorer 214270. I do own the obligatory Rolex Sub and Omega Speedy but for everyday wear I like the simplicity and durability of the Explorer.
The 'mercedes' small hand makes this watch completely unacceptable - it is a child's toy. Little girls wear high heels and clip-clop about the place. Grown men do the same - with the Explorer 214270. Grow up sir.
My personal ideal everyday watch is the Rolex Explorer 114270. My brother just got a Rolex 1500 black mother of pearl with diamonds and loves it
What year is yours? I have the same watch except for a 1570 movement.
Have the same watch year 2000 love it
My dad just gifted this watch to me, I’m glad to know this is a good one. It’s very beat up though
interesting video....makes me reconsider my "no way I am going for a 34mm"...in fact it hardly shows from a 36mm, doesn't it? and more affordable than a datejust....
More aesthetically pleasing than the datejust
I absolutely agree. It is the perfect Watch.
What is the name of your frame style from WP?
Would definitely be interested in a 1500. Looking at a clean stainless steel 1500 on Swiss Watch Expo. Listed at $2,690.
Is this roughly where you would want to be on $$$?
The Hamilton Khaki King is the perfect everyday watch, I think.
They don’t use in house movements though....
@@jakegwen2393 Actually they do, since both Hamilton and movement maker ETA, are part of the Swatch group. So technically, it is in-house.
Also, who cares? It's what he uses as a reference point. It is unique and personal to him and personally I applaud this choice even though I use a different reference watch to measure my collection by.
Have a Hamilton khaki field automatic and love it but I can't dress it up . My Seiko Sarb 035 is better .
Khaki Field automatic silver dial is a perfect everyday watch. You can dress it up with a leather strap, looks great on a nato and a bracelet.
How about some tudor prince oysterdate for the shop? More affordable for those of us with shallow pockets
Yes, add vintage Rolex watches to the shop. Time to start taking on the vintage watch dealer competition.
Don’t have it, but I want a 36mm Rolex OP 116000-0002. That would be my everyday watch.
My reference is the Rolex Explorer 214270. Attractive design, quality build, under the radar and reasonably sized.
Where can I buy one and how much do they cost ?
Lovely. Been amazed of late that these get so little attention. But I'd have a non-date version.
Great review!
The more I watch your content the more I like. That came out weird.
How big is your personal collection?
Exact reasons I daily wear my stainless date just 16030. Also I am surprised by how tough the acrylic crystal is for daily wear.
thank you for you comment Buttsie
It is just not possible to wear a Rolex as an everyday watch anymore if you don't want to get robbed or worse in Amsterdam. A 39 mm titanium Citizen Ecodrive is my daily driver. The automatics are getting less wrist time every year. Probably keep one diver , one dressy sporty and the Speedmaster. But probably it is better to sell of everything and enjoy one Japanese quartz watch per decade just like I did in the eighties and nineties.
My everyday watch has become the omega planet ocean with the orange quarter hour marking. Excellent multi purpose watch I highly recommend them.
I want some of those 1500's in the shop.
Perfect watch on a budget: Hamilton Jazzmaster Blue, Day Date. Perfect watch: Rolex Datejust Blue 41. Smooth bezel. Oyster bracelet.
I feel that way about my Datejust. The DJ in general. My reference is 116234.
I have the15000 and I love it. One and done !
Idk about you but I like my Citizen Promaster Tough on a stainless steel bracelet. It’s a great every day watch!
My best every day watch is
G shock GMW-B5000-1
Can I ask what is the actual size of your 34mm? I'm saw the Exp 36 is actually 35, and since I can't try watches on trying to get an idea. Thank You!
Thank you for your patience; a response is on it's way.
My perfect everyday watch is the 6694 Gilt Dial 8.2million serial (1984). Stunning watch just like the 1500 🤟🏼
i would absolutely purchase one off your site as long as the price is right. also you should try to do a little something different such as give people that are new to buying luxury watches to get involved in this hobby to offer them lower priced rolex $2,000-$3,500 or so, a chance to buy one on payment plans.
I've been looking at these...cant decide between the white or black dial.
Rolex Explorer 114270 is the perfect watch IMO. Classic sizing at 36mm, versatile, horological history, and well balanced.
$YourSoul on the macbook had me dead😂😂😂 love your vids brother
I have Rolex oyster perpetual Date Ref78350 19mm I think production year was 1954 can you help me as I do not have any reference for that watch
I got a rolex 115200 several years ago.Very good watch.I can't tell the difference between rolex 115200 and rolex 1500.
That watch would go really well with an '85 BMW 320i. And maybe a dark leather bomber jacket.
Oh Henry, bless
my perfect everyday watch is the tudor black bay 36...still saving up to get one.
just get a life and save your money for something substantial - kids, grandkids, sex workers ...
@@cahillgreg this is an old comment and now i have a new perfect everyday watch. the casio mq24. i've come to realize that for me, i value accuracy and a quartz watch is perfect for that.
I bought last year my first date 1500 second hand , i love it, i wear it daily
34mm is just too big, why not go so small that we need a magnifier cyclops to see the time? ; )
Warby Parker... What is taking so long to get on board with T3!?
Perfect Everyday Watch...PEW (LOL) I'll gor for the Rolex Sky‑Dweller..if I have the money for it someday
Do you have the stainless bracelete for the Rolex?
Love this watch
Is that the silver or champagne dial version?
It's elegant! Mine's on a Geck... strap.
What's the reference number for the Seiko Solar Chrono in your intro? Is it the SSC081? Thanks.
Yep!
Rolex Explorer I. Rolex Oyster Perpetual white dial. Omega Speedmaster MOTFM. Omega Seamaster 2531.80 and 2254.50. That is the core of my collection. What do you think.
