@@ThatAfricanGuymy brother, I hope you and your family are doing well. PLEASE, I need your help… I have searched EVERYWHERE trying to find out where the MAP sensor is for my car, cannot find anything… do you know where it is?
@zakariasharhan8067 You can see the tip of it behind the throttle body inside the intake well on the left at 2:12. It's at the back of the supercharger. You can see me briefly remove it in this video: ua-cam.com/video/Xsk4YJwK5UU/v-deo.htmlm30s
would this work if upgrading to a 80 mm throttle body?
Sorry that you're having all these issues on the new car!
Well it's new to me but not so new. It's 7 years old and has 242,000 km on the clock. It is understandable that some parts are starting to fail at this point.
Hello my brother, I hope you’re well. You’ve helped me in the past and I’d like to thank you. I need help again may god bless you. Can you guide me to where I can find the “intake air tenperature sensors are for bank 1 and 2 ?
It's the MAP sensor.
@@ThatAfricanGuy I ran diagnostics and the reading is as follows:
intake air temperature sensor bank 1, sensor 1 : installed
Intake air temperature sensor bank 1, sensor 2&3: Not installed
Intake air temperature sensor bank 2, sensor 1,2&3: Not installed
Are all these sensors the MAF?
@@zakariasharhan8067 Which car and which engine is this?
@@ThatAfricanGuythis is for the 2017 Audi a7 3.0T Quattro. Same exact platform as your A7 that you were working on, everything In my engine is identical to yours.
@zakariasharhan8067 As far as I know, there is one intake air temperature sensor acting for both banks, and it's also the MAF sensor located here: ua-cam.com/video/Xsk4YJwK5UU/v-deo.html
Did I miss where you replaced both gaskets?
No, you did not. That wasn't included in the video. In fact I did not change them to be honest but it is recommended.
Thats what happened to me throttle position sensor
Also check the harness.
Thanks!
Where do you check the harness? I’m having the same issue
@@jaedenfernandez2167 the harness attatches to the throttle body and ecu i guess it has pins that may go bad.
Hello
Please tell me where’s the fuel temperature sensor located on Audi a7 3.0 TFSI
Best regards
I don't know where that is, sorry 😐
Can you drive the car without calibrating. I want to Install the throttle and then drive to a workshop and let them calibrate
Yes you can.
What were the symptoms that led to you diagnosing the Throttle Body as an issue?
Misfire!
Was the engine unresponsive when accelerating? Mine needs a little press on the pedal before pressing the accelerator pedal
My brother, is that a 4.2 L V8?
No, that's the 3.0T V6.
@@ThatAfricanGuy You wouldn’t have had made a video about doing a 4.2 L V8, would you bruv?
@hypernovatv911 No, unfortunately. Sorry.
@@ThatAfricanGuy thanks
Whats the hose that u have covered in yellow tape conmect to. Mines not connected to anything and i see it leads to this yellow lookin circle thing tha has something that connect to it and theres nothing connected to it
It connects to the small pipe on the intake hose. You will see me disconnect it in this video at the beginning: ua-cam.com/video/9duXnaT0y6g/v-deo.html
What scanner? I dont see those options on my scanner
it's an XTool VAG401.
Master, how can I unplug that plug?
Just like any other plug. You press the tab, and you push connector in, and you pull it. It is complicated to unplug indeed.
thx ~@@ThatAfricanGuy
