The prices were steep lol I understand cause they're imported but I barely bought stuff when I was there. I did enjoy Key Café and Mendokoro Ramen and got myself a woven reusable bag that I use here in the US. It was a nice mall though. Felt empty but maybe cause it's still fairly new. I'd go back again to see what's new lol

Jun-san, Japanese products here are expensive because of tariffs. Even in small Japanese shops in little Tokyo is pricey too. If i'm craving for a Japanese dish like Unagi I know it's expensive here so i 'll just eat it after getting my salary for the week. 😆

My cousins and I were really excited to go to Mitsukoshi because of the manga and anime merch, it was the only reason we went to Mitsukoshi last year. Manga and anime merch are extremely rare to find in the Philippines. Thank you for the vlog, I learned about the many stores there that we did not before because we were browsing manga the whole day.
I shop in Iseya Food Store beside Makati Central Square along Pasong Tamo Street, Makati. People who love Japanese groceries should try shopping there. Beside Iseya is Manmaru Restaurant. I haven't tried it, but it's highly recommended.

Hi! I live in a condo just across the street from Mitsukoshi. Just curious as to how you got away with vlogging at the Supermarket. The guards there are very alert. Anything that is imported is expensive. When I was in the US I would go to a Filipino and/or Asian grocery store to buy Filipino foods that I miss. They usually cost 3 to 4 times higher than their prices here in the PH.

If you are looking for soft japanese-style tofu, you can ask taho vendors to sell you some, they use soft tofu for making taho. It is a soft tofu dessert with sugar syrup and small tapioca pearls, I reccomend you try it.
You cannot sell sushi for that price. Japanese groceries and consumable goods are well known for their freshness. They go hambun(discounted) on the afternoon and evening. Daiso is known for it’s price and quality, i do not think tariff is the reason it is so overpriced here in ph. Maybe something else.
It's sad that most of the products are expensive 😭 With an average range of 150php for a small item.. but it is imported, so I guess it's the taxes that adds up to the expensive price 😢悲しい ..

what i learned on this video is philippines have low quality but expensive products HAHA! philippines should improve its logistics and make railways to the north near taiwan and the south near malaysia, that way, we filipinos could enjoy imports at a lower price and of higher quality
