I bought my desk a year ago and randomly decided to look up your channel today cause you helped me choose my desk and you were funny. Good thing I followed your recommendation you seem like the only honest guy on youtube good on you man!
Mine came in the mail this week. My first sit/stand desk. I have used very expensive commercial ones at work before. I put a 60x30x1.5" solid teak top on it. Also on it are 18 pounds of speakers, a 28" monitor, a receiver, a couple laptops and some other misc things. So, including the top, probably 200 pounds on the legs. Sitting it's absolutely rock solid. Standing it barely moves when violently shaking it. Max height is slightly more wobbly than standing height, but I can still shake it with a full cup of coffee and it doesn't spill. The monitor does shake a little bit when I do that, but absolutely no where near falling over. Even at max height if you just bump into it the desk barely moves. The desk is substantially more solid than the crappy desks at work which they paid a lot more for. Those don't even go as high or have collision detection or have preset heights. Can't recommend Deskhaus and the Apex Pro enough. Getting in on this discount was awesome!
So I am a little confused.. is it this lower price only because it's not made in Michigan? Is the materal, motor, steel, etc all the same/as good? Or will these wobble more, not handle 600lbs lift, etc?
Is there a difference in strength between the imported vs the normal, also for the L shaped one, how do I go about selecting the top? Any recommendations looking to purchase a desk from y’all.
Really bummed I missed this. I respect your standards of trying to make everything in the USA, but the idea that these can be made for less than 1000 is tantalizing
Damn, was hoping for a sale but not for another month lol, when I finally move to my new place. But this seems like a great deal! Can anyone answer how big and heavy the shipping box is for an Apex Pro? Thank you!
Looking at comboing this with the 72x30 butcher block. With this having a 7 week lead time, thinking there's a chance those will be back in stock by around then?
Thanks for posting this video. After about a week of researching the market, I was really leaning towards Deskhaus, but didn't want to make an impulse purchase. Then, I saw this video. I still waited a few days but decided to make the purchase today. Thank you.
Exactly. I've watched enough Desk Haus videos (and BTOD) that I probably could have picked up an instrument or foreign language instead, but I think I missed this beef???
Some BTOD guy was being a massive prick on the Standing Desk subreddit, accusing a very innocuous user of being a paid corporate shill since they recommended Deskhaus over Uplift. And that's among other examples of just truly bafflingly unprofessional behavior by BTOD reps.
Weird question. What is the measurement from bottom of motor housing to top of rails? For instance, I would like to place small file cabinets inside the legs, under the desk, and am trying to figure in the frame rail/motor housing height to the top of rails, so that I’ll know how low I can get the desk with a specific thickness top and height of file cabinet. Hope that makes sense.
You want the "Extended Range" (or) "Vertex Pro Extended Range" as it is called on their website. The extended range goes lower (and higher). Specs are on their website. Yeah this (video offer) is great, but I need that Extended Range one also. Bummer that this batch is not those..... 🙁 Here are the specs of that from their website: Height Range: Mid-Range: 27" - 46" (Includes 1" Work Surface) Extended-Range: 22"-50" (Includes 1" Work Surface, so subtract that 1" from the above measurements to estimate the underside of the wood desk surface). However..... don't forget that there is the horizontal FRAME members from one side of the desk legs over to the OTHER side of the desk (left to right). So, it looks POSSIBLE that the lowest you could go is maybe a file cabinet that is not more than 19" high? (assuming 3" of frame member height)
Just bought one! I’m curious tho, would this frame be able to handle a 70 x 39inch butcher block? If I have to, I’ll get 30 inches but if you guys can tell me the biggest size I can use, that would help a lot On the page i only see it can handle up to 80inches but no details on the width
Support…yes. but there would be a large amount of overhang so i’d recommend going with the 39.5” feet kit. it includes end brackets that are longer. desk.haus/products/apex-pro-39-5-feet?_pos=2&_psq=39.5&_ss=e&_v=1.0&variant=43650524840157 you could also just add some anti sag bars your self to reinforce the top.
@@Deskhaus Thankyou for the tips! could u plz tell me where i would place the anti sag bar on the desk if i got a 6ft x 39 inch 1.5 inch butcher block? i would get the Apex Pro 39.5 Feet but i was only able to buy this cuz of the sale and the butcher block pretty much uses up my standing desk budget. If there was an option to upgrade on the frame sale before i bought it, MAYBE i could i have considered getting it with the frame only if it had some sort of discount on it tbh. Thanks again
Can you do $400? Then I heard you say at cost 😂🤷🏻♂️ I'll think about it, I need another frame for work since having my gallbladder out it hurts to sit blah

Can we purchase the bluetooth controller for these? I want to order two but like those controlers vs paddle controller.

Would could I get a Aprex Pro in the UK? Could you send it? Would you recommend a similar option in the UK?
If you paint these - will the movement up/down remove it? Does the stock paint get marred with regular use?

We need this in the UK
is there any difference in quality that we can expect from the imported columns? Is it still spartan kick worthy?
yeah i dont see any info on this..
Is there any chance Canadians can get in on this?
Will work on it!
It should allow you to checkout if you are in Canada now. There is our $75 Canada surcharge on it.
