Hi Blake , I am glad to see that your quail business is getting off the ground quiet successfully and you will be supplying clients orders in no time . I admire how you treat your birds ethically and humanely which sends out the message that you take a great deal of pride in your business . Great Work Blake . Cheers Kylie from Australia 🇦🇺
They are definitely cute little bugger’s. I’m sure it makes awesome meals from some critters, I’m sure they appreciate the change in food also not mice all the time. Tfs
Blake... been watching for a long time. Rarely comment, but usually entertained. Can't place my finger on it, but recently you seemed to really up your game. Maybe it's the addition to your family that gives you a fresh kick... idk, regardless keep it up my man. You have a great brand and an amazing attitude. You appear to have supportive family around you as well... LOVE YOUR CONTENT!
much respect the moment you said you are working hard to feed the family and birds, not asking for donations .. i am doin this right now and hopefully i get what you into now :)
Being self sufficient is the best way to have any type of ranch, zoo, breeding operation with animals or reptiles. Ppl who whine and cry about that's mean blah blah just don't have anything better to be doing. And you doing big things so keep it up contents dope and informative.
I used to build custom cages for any type of animal, delivered to 4 different states around me. It’s definitely a learning process on what works best for your situation! You build one thing then figure out how to do it better next time!
IMO breeders should be kept in much better environment then what he has going on. they're supposed to produce healthy babies, and in order to do that you need happy and healthy hens (i've only had mine for around 7 months and even i know this 😭). if you see this and plan on getting some breeder quails, PLEASE keep them in a larger cage on a healthy diet with proper gender ratios (about 1 rooster for every 5-7 hens)
You have a great family, and you treat your animals great BLAKE BIG DOGGIE 💯👣 Don't worry about what people think BIG DOGGIE 💯👣 You're not even cruel to the predators that you find on your ranch BIG DOGGIE 💯👣 Do your thang, and handle your business BLAKE BIG DOGGIE 💯👣
As a vegetarian, I say you should keep your quail business running BUT ONLY FOR ANIMAL FEEDING. I don't like killing animals so I would recommend that along with your quail business, you should also do a business of Plants of Food for animals. You should also Make your Feeders business bigger....
Blake i love all your channel ,, wondering though,, not sure if its possable but i my daughter has always wanted tortoise, but we live in Ontario, canada, so was not sure if you ship here?
If it wasn't Quails it would be mice, so take your pick. It's just like when he harvest fish out of his ponds, he keeps some for breeding and others he feeds to the Otters, and other animals. His ranch is a business, no different than an Egg farm or a cattle ranch.
That a lot of food if you want, like 6000 eggs per 18 days? That around 15 years worth of food every two and a half weeks if you don’t fertilise the eggs
What do you do with the eggs that don't hatch? Can you also sell the eggs as feeder food for predator animals too? That way, you wouldn't have to worry about finding a place to dispose of all those unhatched eggs, and you can make money off them too! Like eggs we buy in the grocery store to eat, except eggs for pets/animals to eat. Maybe you can't sell them as food after they've been inside the incubator?? Idk, I've never really raised birds, but it just sounds like a great idea to me, unless the eggs spoil or something after being in the incubator. 🤷
Is it sound as a business? Egg are £1 each, mature Quail about £5 (live), factor in electricity (for incubator, heat lights) and feed, aren't you always chasing just to pay the electric & feed costs?
How to lose subs in one video. Lmao the day after easter too. 😅 Its a process thata for sure. Definitely got your numbers up. Im.not knocking it. Im just saying from a social media stand point "most" people wont see past the "cute little baby bird" aspect of it.
Bro I don't understand why people are getting mad because what you are doing if you don't mind it hell with the people.if you don't someone else will. I can't do it my brother but I'm not hating on you
Never knew people eat those birds, i know people eat the eggs but why would you eat the bird it's so small it's like eating an Old World sparrow. People are weird😂
quail, much like chickens or turkeys, are heavy on meat in the breast area. they're leaner which makes them more filling. people typically eat 1-4 in one meal
Wow, just wow. I understand that these birds are becoming feeders, but you are doing everything wrong. As a commercial quail breeder, allowing those chicks to fall from the upper trays, which by the way, are set trays not hatching trays is horrible and bad for the chicks. If the set trays are used as hatching trays, the eggs should be removed from the blue trays and laid on their side. You should have fashioned a wire lid for them so they wont fall to the bottom. You should also not be opening the incubator for any reason for 24 -48 hrs after the first egg hatches as to not shock the eggs and cause them to not be able to hatch. If you need to reach out to me please do as animal husbandry has been lost here.
exactly! especially seeing the size of the breeder cage was very distressing for me. each spot had 3 birds meaning he was most likely keeping 1 rooster with 2 hens in each compartment.. people jump to say "meat is better when raised properly and happily" but then they show you this video.
I think it’s fine to raise animals for food, obviously. As long as the birds are treated with the utmost care till the end is what matters!
exactly!
I couldn't do it but if I had a giant reptile, I'd buy his feeders.
@@vicaroo001you couldn't be nice?

Wow pretty awesome blake❤😂
If i visited this farm, i would definitely focus on "the other type of eggs."
Woah thats a lot of Eggs 😮
Hi from the Netherlands
Just a thought why not use pvc coated wire for the bottom of the quail enclosures 🤙🏽

I think it’s a great thing you are doing. Every animal needs to eat. You definitely have a lot of birds on your hands though.
As a vegetarian, I say you should keep your quail business running BUT ONLY FOR ANIMAL FEEDING. I don't like killing animals so I would recommend that along with your quail business, you should also do a business of Plants of Food for animals. You should also Make your Feeders business bigger....

Fun experiment: release 1male and 2 females into the aviary.

The owner is hot, that's even more insane.

Why do you need to be so damn rough with them??😡
Right.....
When they are little they bounce.. It is normal
Hi, do you make your own incubator? And where do you buy the tray?

I just suggest my high school science teacher to buy some quail from you to get rid of some dear ticks
Blake i love all your channel ,, wondering though,, not sure if its possable but i my daughter has always wanted tortoise, but we live in Ontario, canada, so was not sure if you ship here?
Need to make a little corral to herd them or sheep them in to 1 bucket
Lord of the ring

People are so quick to judge, but they never question where their food comes from.
Never

🔥💕👍
I love incubating eggs I have some chicken eggs in as we speak ❤❤

they would be rottten

Very difficult to make money in poultry. The feed will be a huge factor which is why large facilities blend their own feed.
What type of incubator do you use?
are they gonna be for sale when they hatch?
They are going to be be food for sale
How r d quails???
Blakes
Chickens to get rid off the flies
What is so good about quails??
The title says raising and breeding 1000 quail eggs…
How do eggs breed?😂
I have quail

Please do a cassowary update
How to lose subs in one video. Lmao the day after easter too. 😅
Its a process thata for sure. Definitely got your numbers up.
Im.not knocking it. Im just saying from a social media stand point "most" people wont see past the "cute little baby bird" aspect of it.
He just can't show the harvesting of the quail
Do you sell them???
You should offer some of the eggs for sale for those rare few people that own egg eatting snakes
Your right
Put the coop over a body of water, maybe it’s time to start breeding catfish
👍😎👊🫶❤️
Raise your own animals.
Last go
Bro I don't understand why people are getting mad because what you are doing if you don't mind it hell with the people.if you don't someone else will. I can't do it my brother but I'm not hating on you

Find a way to harvest the flies eggs and feed them to the birds free food for life dude
Let just eat all eggs yummy
One day human eggs will be better then caviar lol
How Do You Kill Your Birds??????????
once youre etablished you should sell eggs as well for people with egg eating snakes, small monitors, ect
I’ve thought about it
Yo
They are all regular Quail egg
Never knew people eat those birds, i know people eat the eggs but why would you eat the bird it's so small it's like eating an Old World sparrow. People are weird😂
quail, much like chickens or turkeys, are heavy on meat in the breast area. they're leaner which makes them more filling. people typically eat 1-4 in one meal
Yeah I know it sad animals got to eat and if they don't eat them we'll have too many quail
