Slightly difft topic, but last weekend was the Peters Pence collection sunday, with a special envelope given to laity to enclose their donations. In my envelope, i took great pleasure in enclosing a rock with an accompanying note: " for Jorge, with my deepest gratitude." 😂
👍
I noticed at my FSSP, the second collection basket was quite empty compared to the first collection. Heh!
I would have enclosed Monopoly money with the words don’t spend it all at once or you won’t be able to make improvements. 😜 😂
I'm laughing but feel a bit worried for my priest whom I really love. If they can't get the money out of the congregation then they will be replaced. Any priest knows he's only good to a bishop if he can raise money for them.
Didn't have this problem last Sunday at our SSPX Chapel the collection all goes to the Chapel and the occasional second collection goes to the assistance of the Priory.
Any defeat of "social justice" is a win for Catholic doctrine.
Many as of late. Here's to hoping that the light at the end of the tunnel isn't an oncoming train.
I can't say it any better than that!
Social justice? Solutions to poverty issues? You mean, like teach values; don't behave intimately until married; don't treat unborn children like tumors to be surgically removed?
Don't take certain pills that notoriously make it difficult to judge men's characters and set the heart against offspring; don't choose future spouses with an idea of "well if it doesn't work out we can always just get a divorce"; remember that Christ is King and sets all the terms, not us.
Having been a speaker at the recent Coalition for Canceled Priests in Wisconsin a couple of weeks ago, I was afforded the opportunity to get acquainted with Michael Hichborn in person. He is a great speaker and his work is critical to keeping the Bishops 'honest'. When the videos of the speakers from the conference are available online I highly recommend watching Michael's talk. We also got to watch the 'uncut' version of the documentary 'Wolf in Sheep's Clothing' which was extremely well done and disturbing. Much of the critical information has been edited out by EWTN who owns the rights to the film. If you want to support any organization related to the wellbeing of the Church, please consider Michael's organization, "The Lepanto Institute'.
LOVE the Lepanto Institute!
how did the event go this year?
how about the US Bishops and the USCCB focus and put great amount of time and money to helping get more people to Christ and growing the faith. Social care and needs will come as a result of a stronger lay faithful group.
We need strong and bold bishops again please.
@@kemmow25 It wasn't as well attended as last year, due to "internal issues" Anthony covered at the time, but the people who did attend were the diehards who realize the mission of the Coalition is far more important than any individual personalities. It is an important project, as these priests need help for the most basic needs to live a remotely normal life. I recommend this conference to anyone who has the resources to support these priests who have most often only committed the "sin" of adhering to The Traditional, Unchanging Catholic Faith.
A request for a 10 year longitudinal study? Does that mean an analysis of 10 years or they want funding for ten years. What a sloppy money and corruption fest these knuckleheads perpetrated.
Maybe the name "Campaign for Human Development" should be changed to "Living the Gospel, the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy." Like that would ever happen.
Thanks be to God. Money talks. No money means their BS walks.
Go Nancy!! Great to do the pilgrimage with you!! Tell it like it is!!
😅
The language and terminology used by the social justice warriors within the CCHD and the USCCB are INDISTINGUISHABLE from their counterparts in the secular realm.
That word.. VICTORY.. sticks out like a sore thumb… in this .. nightmare. Thank you.dear Anthony :-) 🌹
Amen! Helen! ❤
I haven’t given to CCHD in years!
My dad taught us not to give to the second collection, ever. He taught us well.
I have for years only donated to the parish building fund because this is the only area that stays 100% in the parish. Any other donations, the bishop gets a 20% cut.
Great show - thank you 🔥👏😎.
God bless, Ave Maria 🙏⛪⚓👑.
More than strong opinions, the church should hold righteous, holy, true positions with courageous, sacrificial leadership.
Long overdue
Ave Maria❤️🔥❤️🔥
If Rome hadn't lost the faith, I'd actually love to pay my tithes to the Vatican. Objectively sneaking that's impossible right now for many reasons, with the Vaticans' abuse of finances being just one
❤
Not only isn’t the CCHD not transparent neither is the Peter’s Pence collection of this past last weekend in June (always near to Sts. Peter & Paul’s feast day)! They also contributed to the Hollywood movie “Rocketman” and rented LUXARY REAL ESTATE on our DONATIONS!! Stop giving to both!!!!!!!
Not a cent until they return to appropriate donees.
Let's open up those books!!!
The old adage "charity begins in the home" bears truth. When you destroy the home and the family unit, the alternative is to depend on government for your sustenance which is the worse possible scenario. Wake up Francis!
@@Betrue875 Amen!
I donate needed items for “the poor” to our local Catholic Charities group, Ulster Co., NY. Nothing to the Archdiocese of New York!!!
Catholic Charities sponsors illegal alien crossing the border, ABORTIONS etc. Look at the information from the Lepanto Institute on this.
Hello Dear Brother Anthony! Praying for your Intentions always! Ave Maria! ❤
he same has been happening in corporations across America, because money is tighter these days. That includes BigTech. It is not ideologically related in those cases.
However, Tractor Supply Co. got hammered over their misbegotten DEI, and they did reverse and apologize.
Why in God’s name would we ever give the likes of clinton and gates leverage over the church
Prayers for the entire Christendom
We vote with our money!
Yes! Care for the poor. I give to a non-Catholic organization that does this because SVDP doesn’t.
I have done this, too. But Aid to the Church in Need is a Catholic charity worthy of support.
The FSSP has MIssion Traditions, helping very poor communities in Nigeria and Colombia to thrive and spreading the faith Traditionally. Search engine and prayerfully discern. There are good Catholic causes if one looks. GBY.
I think a comprehensive history if the church would be a good idea. All of it. The good the bad and the ugly. And highlight how it was fixed. There are a lot of myths out there by the history channel.
For our part we have not given one red cent to the Novus Ordo Synodal church in nearly ten years. My offering whether that's of Time, Talent or Treasure has gone to only Traditional Catholic Communities especially the SSPX. 🙏➕
Time for us to regulate these entrustments!
It's about time!
🌹 Ave Maria
Ave Maria! ❤
At BLM time, write to your Pastor and your Bishop and encourage them to suspend their support of the CCHD. While they will likely dismiss your request, at least it puts your feelings on record with them.
Thank you, Anthony
Awesome video!!! That’s why I stop giving on 2nd collection.. we never know for sure where it goes.
From America magazine:
U.S. bishops announce major layoffs to social justice department
Less than two weeks after many U.S. bishops made a strong show of support for the conference’s domestic anti-poverty initiative, staff members from that initiative and others were laid off on Monday (June 24) as part of a restructuring of the wing of the conference that supports Catholic social teaching.
Chieko Noguchi, the spokesperson for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, confirmed layoffs and a restructuring of the department of Justice, Peace & Human Development in a statement to Religion News Service. “The reorganization will allow the Conference to align resources more closely with recent funding trends,” Noguchi wrote.
The department includes programs focused on international policy, domestic policy, environmental justice, racism, education and outreach, as well as the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, an office supervising grants to U.S. community organizations working on systemic solutions to poverty issues.

End the conference of Catholic Bishops. It appears to be a self-promoting organization. The Bishops are responsible before God for all the souls in his Diocese. Catholic or not. Preach the gospel and live it.
This past Lent, someone pointed out this corruption in the Official Lent giving campaigns, but had no sources to back up his claims. I tried to do some research but came up empty. Could you provide some facts for us to share?
Yes there needs to be transparency, but it sounds like NCR wants paralysis by analysis…. they want to delay the inevitable with study after study
Money talks
NO CCHD and NO Peter’s Pence
which side catholic church should stand?
if go right side, many reject it
if go left side, much more reject it
stand neutrality, still many reject it
so which side?
There is only one Side the Side of Tradition anything else is not Catholic.
@@Lcoch2482 only tradition?
not bible, sacred tradition and magisterium of the catholic church?
@@iwansaputra1890 uuhhhhh, that IS tradition
As a serious Protestant, I nonetheless often pray for the Catholic Church and her members. I will hold this issue up before God in my prayers.
Bless you for the work you do.
Could you get TradPatrick from Rights and Duties to Comeback?
There's zero chance of that happening. He's appeared a couple of times on The Rundown since leaving but he's much happier not being on the Internet.
@@ReturnToTradition that sucks tell him i said good luck
I wanted to view this video to incentivize more reporting of good news. I think you could make the title/headline better so YT knows who to serve it to and potential viewers can better judge if they want to view it
I would watch a video on the history of social justice.

Did you actually deliberately refuse to say "google it"? BRAVO!!! You're the only other person (besides me) that does so. I say 'websearch it'.
Everybody else is so deep in the brainwashing that they say it like parrots. Imagine Trads saying, "We recommend having our local meetings at Starbucks, because everybody goes there". Same thing.
Our side also ALL use their email. Including lawyers, for talking with clients. Unbelievable, the ignorance.
@Individualati
I do the same: avoid writing "GOGGLE" (deliberate misspelling). I just say 'net search', or just 'search'.
traditional according who? using latin language in nigeria mean traditionall? they call you alien
@@fairyspunfibers9098 BRAVO, FSP!!!
Imagine if even one million people on the right were inspired to switch away in one week. google would be rocked. Imagine if even half the 60 millions who voted against the current incumbent did so, google would be rocked to its core. But they won't switch.
(I always refuse to capitalize them as a sign of disrespect.)
@@Individualati the only concern was not to cause Anthony any problems and not try to plug anything except FSSP and Mission Traditions. Also, as an American ex-pat, am aware other places may use other engines. No political agenda one way or the other.
