    I do this on the reg and its a lot of fun. Just to point out, your DOF does not match the model on the photo. The photo is blury near his feet. Stuff like that break immersion. Good attempt regrdless

    That's really Kool! I've done some of this myself but I'm not nearly as good at it. I'm going to check out your other vids and maybe get ideas on how to do better at it.

    Where did you get that model of a '58 Chevy Pickup? It must be a diecast since it isn't made in kit form.

    Not a bad video, but would have been nice to show the process using Photoshop etc... whether you masked out areas. Cut or paste etc...

    What lense would you use to photograph 1/87 Ho figures if you want to focus on more than one subject?

    • @InsightfulImagery
      @InsightfulImagery  4 роки тому

      not sure how much of a scene you need in focus or how close your trying to focus but it may take a combination of techniques like using a close focusing or 50mm a 100mm macro i would start with 100mm macro most likely because at 1;1
      and the scale of figure you are photographing you will get a lot in frame I dont know how large you want the figure to appear in frame but even. a close focusing 50mm could work and then focus stack to get that sharpeness through the scene. the two critical issues you will have are your subjects are small and the closer you get to them the less depth of field you will have so it may take a couple technique to really get what you are after. hopefully this helps

    Wouldn't you want a deeper DOF in order for the shot to look more realistic?

      U may u may not that part is subjective I'm only showing you how I did this image. Perhaps you can see my other videos like when I pose with Jason voorhees there is greater dof in that one I chose to shoot wife in this one because background would not add to the scene and would be out of scale with the truck. It's up to you though its art
