A masterclass of model car photography lightning. I have 10 years in photography and have watched so many videos and tutorials on different topics regarding lightning. This is hands down one of the best I've watched, not only because the step-by-step explanation but also these techniques can be used in other types of photography as well. Hats off to you Doug.
Thank you for your effort in putting this tutorial together. It demystifies the lighting techniques by showing it stage by stage. Very much appreciated!
Wow! I have learned so much more in the 20 minutes or so from watching your video than in the last 6 months looking for just this kind of tutorial. Thank you for uploading this. I have only just found you today and I have liked and subscribed. Looking forward to your next one.
loved this tutorial... im also into photography besides model building, but never used my dslr for my model kits. im gonna try this!!! a million thanks!
This is great stuff. I shoot pics of diecast cars and do many of the same things. The big one for me was adding the reflector cards on the sides, makes a big difference. You can control the light and with just a few moments turn a blah pic into a great pic
Great tips Doug! One thing you should have mentioned but not needed in your shots is to be sure to dust off or blow off the car to get rid of dust. Many people take pics of their models and are covered with dust.
Really enjoyed this video! Very informative. Nice job! I'm motivated to get a model on my bench so I can take some images! Again, nice work and thank you for sharing!
Extremely well made and explained, thank you so much for taking your time to make this so detailed and clear! Whenever I thought you were done you showed us that there is always room for improvement. Cheers!
