Hai perfettamente ragione, le Warning hanno preso una deriva commerciale imitando gruppi, come appunto i Maneskin che sono più vecchi d'età e hanno una profondità nei testi a cui loro non credo arriveranno mai. Forse è il loro successo troppo presto acclarato che le porta a cercare di fare cose che non sono ancora in grado di fare. Poi sinceramente quando sento una band che utilizza la batteria stile Queen in We will rock you, senza però aver quell'epicità che loro trasmettevano al pubblico, essendo un brano che esprime condivisione con la massa, mentre questo dovrebbe essere più intimo anche se estremo, allora mi vengono dei dubbi sulle loro capacità attuali sia di scrittura che di arrangiamento.

Not all people love their evolution and that's fine. They will keep growing, they are still new on this despite their 10 years playing. Some fans will jump out of their journey at the same time new fans will jump into it. The Warning are not going back, but keeping forward and that's the way to evolve. I understand your reservations about the themes emerging from the new album, but the fact is they are young adult women. Dany’s going to be 25 next year! I’m not going to speculate about their private lives, but surely these are themes that anyone their age can relate to. Maybe it’s jarring to see musicians we’ve seen as kids explore this stuff, but countless child actors and musicians have had to cross that bridge into adulthood in the public eye, and not every fan is willing to accept the change. But I think DPA are handling themselves with both power and grace.
The lyrics are impactful, delving into toxic relationships with a relatable and unfiltered approach that really hits home. Let's dive into the performance! Pau's drumming is precise and dynamic, setting a strong foundation for the song's intensity. Ale's bass riffs are top-notch, providing depth and propelling the track forward. And then there's Dany's vocals! She completely owns the song with her powerful and emotive delivery, perfectly capturing the essence of the lyrics. I love how The Warning blends classic rock influences with a modern sound. It creates this infectious energy that makes you want to move. What we have heard so far of the album, "Keep Me Fed," is impressive, and I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a breakout success. That's okay to have your opinion. For me though, it seems like you are searching for things to dislike, almost as if you are determined not to like anything from these new releases. But I know there are always songs that just don't vibe with personal taste - I for one never liked anything that U2 did, nothing in their discography sonically never did anything for me, but they are one of the biggest bands in world. Anyway, let's see what happens next - I know that you are a fan of The Warning and are hoping the best for them.

I agree anytime somebody starts a video of a song they've never heard before and two to two and a half seconds into it stops IT and starts making all these assumptions and projections of where the song is going and what's good and bad about it and it's only been two and a half seconds they obviously went into it with their mind already set against it.
I'm with you, I never liked U2 music, never understood the attraction. The Warning, I love Automatic Sun, my other favorites are Evolve, Queen of the murder scene and Dull Knives and even though I don't know any Spanish I love their song MARTIRIO, that song is awesome, reminds me of an anthem song. I listen to a wide verity of music, been to a few Day on the Green Concerts in the 70's. I was at Day On The Green #5: Ted Nugent, Blue Öyster Cult, Journey, AC/DC, Cheap Trick in 1978, I enjoy listening to all The Warning music. It always amazes me how a small 3-piece band can create such a big sound.

Good writers express what the feel in a way that allows the listerner to assign thier own meaning, the meaning you got from the song were nothing like what I got and what I got were nothing like what Dany said it was about. I like the song and since all of their music has a way of growing on me I am will just enjoy it.

Hey Giacomo! I appreciate what you are saying. I think they wanted to experiment with this album, and work with co-writers. I don't know if the label set them up together with co-writers, but it seems like it. Unfortunately, IMO, they may have let too much of their co-writers' ideas into their songs, and let their producer go wild with extra effects and backing tracks. Or maybe the sisters wanted to try new things. To me it sounds like they have moved a bit to the mainstream to try and get airplay. That is why I think the label may have put ideas into their heads. Just my unsubstantiated theory.
I love how their lyrics are so open to interpretation! It's fascinating.... It's like art.... What I get out of a song might be totally different than what the person next to me sees. Personally, I love watching their evolution.

Yo lo único que quisiera es que no les diera miedo tocar mas segundos la parte instrumental del final. Podrian haber levantado una fuerza enorme de agregarle unos 10 segundos más a esos arreglos

Exacto, Tienen varios de esos momentos en varias canciones y es un poco desesperante que no jueguen con eso.En More, que al final hay una estructura parecida muy buena, y esta tienen un final que da para extenderlo y experimentar, con el final de AS podrian haber montado tremendo puente que diera a la experimentacion y a lograr una cancion diferente que no sea estribillo y coro y mas hard. Se limitan mucho en ese aspecto, como que les da miedo arriesgarse a una cancion mas larga y diferente; ya que si bien las canciones de este album son temazos, hasta ahora todas son bastante limitadas a sonar radiales con la estructura tipica verso estribillo, coritos y super cortitas para tik tok ja ja ja. Aun sigo esperando que en uno de los 12 temas se arriesgen y saquen un temon largo donde se alejen de la estructura clasica y den rienda suelta a estos chispasos de experimentacion que tienen y que con la produccion de Anton sonaria brutal. Hasta Paramore que tambien son puro verso coro, se animo en un album a sacar una cancion de 10 minutos, puro instrumental lleno de experimentacion con guitarras distorsionadas. Parece que tienen miedo a alejarse de la estructura pop rock tradicional o de alguna forma se sienten en la obligacion de hacerlo todo muy radial. Seria un poco triste que los 12 temas sea puro hit radial de 3 minutos, porque empieza a sonar todo un poco igual. Con el talento q tienen y los tremendos productores q se prestan para jugar con este tipo de sonidos. La de cosas que se podria hacer con la ultima parte, quedaria super heavy, lo desperdiciaron un poco.

Everyone has their personal preferences and styles they like. I feel I’ve heard everything since I was practically raised by my grandparents who definitely preferred different genres…I was exposed to a variety. My young parents played in a band who played ROCK and COUNTRY. I absolutely like hearing a new sound by these “young” artists. I think their experimentation is EXCITING and FUN. I think I understand how you feel. I, too, miss the more complex writing that you see in songs like Disciple, Animosity, Dust to Dust and the like. The new songs are definitely simpler and more formulaic. Here's the biggest problem for me:
It's working.
They are on the radio. Their songs are showing up in top 10 lists everywhere. Their fan base appears to be expanding exponentially.
It's hard to argue with success, my friend. Try as i might, the girls are winning me over.

I might add that, although the new songs are based on a similar formula, you have to admit that More feels very different from S!CK, which feels very different from Automatic Sun.
I'm hoping that radio play and a larger fan base will give them more "breathing room" to go back to a little more sophisticated songwriting. Regardless, I love these ladies and wish them nothing but the best.

I love and excited with their new project , in fact I already pre ordered Dany Version , most of us fans already know that the sisters will do experimentation in this album, as they mentioned it in the interviews and to their Vlogs, I'm not defending The Warning because they don't need defending nor does to Anton Delost to that matter, Assuming it's Anton's influence regarding the outcome of the Album is unfair and to the people who they work in this album, If you're new TW fan , just keep in mind that the 3 of them are very picky, opinionated and stubborn(the 3 of them will gang you up like a ferocious lioness, if they don't agree with your idea), they know what they want , if the studio version sounded like that, it means they want it to sound like that, do you guys remember regarding the tambourine? that Pau hated it so much and she wants to keep the level very low cause it annoys Her. this album is their creative artistic expression, some of us don't like it, maybe because it didn't sound like what you expect it to be sonically, love it or hate it , it's their creative art , not other peoples art

Thanks Giacomo, i totally agree with you. I have been following The Warning for the last 2 years, and after the beautiful production of ERROR and the more simple, but effective QOTMS, i am really baffled over how bad the new songs sound.
The overproduction and use of effects are really cringe and removes all that was fun and engaging in the old songs.
But they are still young and I hope that they have yet to create their best works, it would be sad if they peaked with ERROR.

I do agree in general about the lyrical content on what we have heard so far from "Keep Me Fed"; much less interesting to me personally, but others may disagree, which of course is fine. I thought that the lyrical subject matter was one of the elements that what made TW unique.

I do not like their new proposal now. In My opinion is weak and Flat. My impression is they Don’t Want to go there but people around them are trying to change them. I hope i am wrong . You can’t even recall The band .
@@giacomojamesPunkRockHeadReact Your opinion is quite ignorant, no one is trying to change them, they wanted to do that, Pau in particular I've heard. You are clinging too much on the "old" sound. They did a different flair and style with every new album released and they'll continue on doing so. Calling it "Terrific Garbage" is tasteless because so many people love it (me included and fan since 2019).
In my opinion the co-writing isn't needed, but still good lyrics. I like the pure DPA writing more though.
The Warning was never just a pure rock band, they did always infuse different genres in their music, even if it's sometimes subtle. Either way you like diversity in bands with every new release or not. AC/DC is a good example for doing always the same.
I think we have lost a soldier, but that happens in any army, there is no problem, we all continue to look forward. Cheer up Giacomo James.

It seems that you are misunderstanding the intentions behind The Warning’s new album. Ale said that this time around they wanted to have more fun and more energetic. Previous albums were more serious.
It is okay if you don’t like ir, but please take a little more time looking at their goals and what they are trying to accomplish. Not to change your mind but at least to honor the artist. FYI, my biggest issue here is your take about being sensual, which is odd to me since the lyrics are open to interpretation. Besides that take on the lyrics, I totally support your honest opinion that you don’t like the new album and I applaud that you express it.

Your response underscores what The Warning have said in interviews and vlogs... that they write their songs so people can interpret them as they wish... mission accomplished.
It is sometimes simply human need that keeps us locked into what first impressed us or what fits within our personal frame of reference. The Warning have often been second guessed as to their intent with lyrics but I think if they were manipulated as you suggest then they wouldn't have produced a lot of their earlier work to the standard that they did.
As they said in their Ted talk a lot of people wanted to change them and they were polite and pleasant but said no. That doesn't mean they don't want to expand their skills and themes and, as they frequently say, "learn new things". Afterall they are still young and still learning and still trying to follow their dream and it is to be expected that some fans will not want them to change and will want them to stay in the fan's comfort zone. It is to the credit of most of their fans and certainly their family and even their label that they support what the sisters want to do not what they want for them.
The fact you are able to watch this song and others being performed before it is "released" by Lava shows that the label has learned from The Warning how to work "with" a large fan base and how to co-operatively get what is best for everyone involved.
Years from now, the style of content and production and distribution that The Warning are putting up front will become more of the norm as new performers learn from them and labels learn from the success Lava will have with them.
There is nothing wrong with your view, if anything it shows that the change that The Warning tests from time to time is true to their goals. It was, afterall, their willingness to be creative and change that took them from being nice little Mexican girls in a parochial English language school to being somewhat of a household name in the male dominated world of rock music.
If Shirley Temple had The Warning as a role model then she might well have grown her acting character as she grew rather than trying to keep people happy who wanted her to stay the cute little girl they first watched and wanted to remain so forever.

Thumbs up for stating your opinion and that's why we love you. The band has stated that this is the type of music that they like to listen to and they wanted to make a fun album. I'm not a huge fan of the overproduction but they are still great songs IMO!

Imho it is much more difficult for a powerful singer to hold back and sing gently and sensually than it is to just keep belting. This is one of the most difficult vocal songs I’ve ever heard from the warning.
They singed “when i am alone” that is a sweet and Gently song. There she was able to shine, here not to me. And i said this song is not The worst of the record to me for many reasons
I still have trouble with More, but this is my new favorite song. I love the heaviness. When you say they are too young for these kinds of lyrics, don't forget they're 24, 22 and 19, by which time many men and women have seen war. I think they're making songs for arenas and outdoor festivals. All of their albums have been different. In an interview they said they wanted this album to be less deep and more fun. We all say that the older fans love The Warning as if they were their children or grandchildren. You sound like a papa who just found out his daughter is thinking about sex. lol

This song is about people with very bright personalities that make you feel a gravitation pull towards them when they enter the room. It's got nothing to do with a sexual connotation. Also, no artist ever creates strictly from personal experience, that would be extremely limiting, specially for a young person. The Beatles disbanded before any of them were 30. "Black Holes" is a masterpiece written by a 13 year old, same thing with "Survive", etc. Do you want them to wait till they're 50 to be able to write about these kind of topics? Estoy de acuerdo con algunos aqui si les hace falta en varios temas justo como este último extenderse un poco más quiza pasar la barrera de los 3:30 min ya con eso habría una mejora notable, aunque no sé si la duración de las canciones la tomen en cuenta a la hora de montar las presentaciones y saber cuantas van o tocar o algo por el estilo... Lo que justo ayer si ví, esque estuvieron charlando con chica que también hace musica que lleva por nombre St. Vincent el caso es que salió al tema que la chica en cuestión componia, tocaba y a la vez producía sus propio material y paulina se notó muy interesada en eso en particular porque de esa forma obviamente tienes el control prácticamente total e lo que vas a entregar como producto final quizá en estos momentos ellas estén viendo un poco de limitación en ese aspecto quizá por algunas metas de marketing o alcance que se han propuesto, que para mi sería la opción mas lógica como lo hacen muchos que primero tratan de alcanzar la fama y ya despues ahí se relajan con esos temas para hacer lo que realmente les gustaria hacer sin tener la presión de tener que subir y mantenerse en los reflectores, pero esto último obviamente también es elucubración mia, no me hagan mucho caso.
Me gustan, las sigo siempre y es lógico que tenga algo de las demás canciones escritas por ellas, es su sello y todas las bandas lo hacen, todas, pero no suena todo igual son algunos estribillos, aparte de las influencias de otras bandas que tienen, a mi me gusta todo y no por ser fans de ellas, sino por la evolución que tienen en su música no se pueden quedar con la tematica de las primeras rolas, estas últimas canciones y sobre todo esta mata a las demás, más fuerte y poderosa, la voz de Dany sigue igual, el bajo se escucha más y Pau la rompe, cuestion de gustos, si hay algo que en cierto momento no me gusta lo expreso, hasta ahorita me siguen sorprendiendo de sus capacidades para escribir y acoplarse de forma sencilla, pero siempre en el tiempo y forma. Son excelentes, no les busques más.

Exactly bro and a band can't stick to the same sound for ever. Take a look at Kraftwerk, Muse and Royal blood.. They are known for their experimentations and thats what drives them success. Look at the Warning's monthly playlists now compared to when the previous albums dropped.

Anton Delost should stay as far away from the warning as possible,studio album is way over produced. Live versions of every new song seem totally different songs than the studio versions.
