I can't think of a single thing phish fans can complain about. Almost 40 years and can still nail a composition as tough as Fluffhead. Enjoy it while it's here folks.
I've been saying this since the first and second hiatus, all we have is now! So tomorrow is not yet and yesterday is over quit pissing all over TODAY!!!
I was so lucky for this to be my first phish show when I was 17 it was such an experience and so much of it spoke to me. I knew from the get go that show was special and I cherish it so much.
…the longest Fluffhead ever performed was the second song at Alpine Valley in July 1999… 8/13/22: “Party like it’s 1999” >22 minute Fluffhead> Saw It Again
I’ve been wondering where Phish would settle in musically since coming back from the Covid break. I’ve seen them play some great shows since then, but this jam shows some of the tightest, most communicative, and most inventive music they’ve played in the past 5 years. It’s new. Its old. Its fun. I love it ⭕️
It's really the butter too my toast!!! They've gotten better which is ridiculous but understandable considering how amazing all 4 of them are!!! Been to@< 120+ and 15 TAB and quite the jammiest of jam bands my favorite helping me learn guitar, teaching me street values, Phamily Values and I've met the most amazing people at Phish I've seen Merica.... Lemonwheel, Great Went last festival Phil and Phriends opened for Phish at Locken' and I sold both show pieces(live artist)$550.00 for both not too shabby!!!!
Our Minneapolis crew was there for this as we always are for Alpine Phish. I agree, best Fluffhead in years and years. Such a great weekend. All for our buddy Pete who's dancing in the stars.
He's been my favorite drummer for years now! Came across Phish in '96 and though I love lots of rock, punk, jazz and metal drummers, he's still my favorite and DEFINITELY underrated. He's talented AF but also brings a level of humor and absurdity that is both welcome and so at home within the greater context of Phish.
@@thomasmainecoon people outside the community don't know because they don't listen to him and I might get some shit for this but I really don't think Travis Barker is all that.. you have to put Bonham up there Lombardo up there and a hell of a lot more I can't think of right now . I'm sure fisherman wanted to he could jam out some SLAYER
Now that's a Fluffhead! They give a nod to the other Alpine fluff and even throw in the appropriate siren loop. A+, Looked like trey was having a blast all weekend - love to see it!
I only went Saturday and while the opening was great, was really disappointed with rest of the show. Felt like one long continuous song all night long. They didn't interact with the crowd at all. I don't think they said one word all night.

That’s because most NPC’s who enjoy that type of “music” live in their phones and don’t know any other way of life. They must document everything for random strangers on the internet for social internet points.
