Saw this band the other night in Kentucky. I'd rate them a 9.7 out of 10. I have seen a lot of bands, going back to the early 70's. These guys are real.
i have a DM3 playlist.....I'm tryin to work on my truck..... whenever it comes on i don't get any work done..... i just drink beer and listen to DM3..... the best band i ever heard!!!!!!!!
Below the like bar it says there playing at The Haunt, Rochester, but band's website says Ithaca. That's the only Haunt venue I know of in N.Y.(The one in Ithaca). Just wanted to clear it up in case anyone wanted to go see this awesome band.
I honestly like this version so much better than the album version. They are both fantastic but this is one of those bands that if you can get a live version of one of their songs I can almost promise you it will be better than the studio version.
hint.... "ssyoutube", just add the ss...never know what comes along with it...but it rips the video, then use cool edit pro to rip the audio from the viedo....
They've played my home town twice this year, both great shows. Plus Cooper McBean sat and talked to me, turning me on to Schatten acoustic pick ups for my banjo. Cool people, cool band.
I think Devil Makes Three And Trampled By Turtles would be an amazing tour :) I have seen Trampled by Turtles and im just waiting for them to come back to Toronto, Canada
I thought I would mention this as well: sean JONESY wrote this song and a bunch of other great ones. Ups to TDM3 for covering this, but look up THE ORIGINAL FRYIN' PAN if you liked the song writing. Cheers.
I have catchy titles Like 'LOFTY LOVE', good song wrote in the tobacco feilds of NORTH CAROLINA. Places where good songs are wrote, in the Country not a college classroom.

This is Real Music, Real Writing, and makes me feel Real Good!
Hands down the best live version of the song I've found. Can't believe the search algorithm buried this one so far down the list.
After listening to them for years, this is the first I've seen them... not what I expected. I guess you shouldn't judge a cover by it's content!

Awesome! Love the beard, love the song's outro… who can't love some good ol' slap upright? Very very tasty indeed!

Jesus!! that's some good shit rite there!

as to the description, a lot of bluegrass is about drug abuse, gunplay, killing estranged lovers etc..

They're Dubstep fans. They prefer music made from a computer rather than from the heart.
It's more along the lines of old timey stuff just based on the rhythm of it.
holy heck is this good
It's hard to believe that this was a live performance.
