I think the point of the cliffhanger was more that someone got Jen to lose control of SheHulk, making her a “threat to the public”.
Matt felt like a seasoned, confident, veteran superhero. I'm happy with how they treated the character.
if the MCU rebooted Matt with anything resembling the backstory from his Netflix years he'd be extremely seasoned. The character literally been thru hell and back on that series

I don’t love the She-Hulk series but I’m somewhat enjoying them for what they are. The episode didn’t do Matt much justice by taking away ALL the seriousness, turning him into the same comic relief character Marvel is currently drowning everything in. This guy who kept his secret for years and years was found out in a matter of minutes after being introduced and he was so careless in a way completely different from what we’re used to.
It’s sad okay, we can grieve 😂

I loved this episode. Daredevil’s character felt like a natural progression from season 3 but tweaked just enough to fit the tone of the show. And the tone shift at the end was nuts. Really excited for the finale

The kicker is, JJ would eventually figure out that Shulkie slept with Matt, and ask her “Why???” in that incredulous voice she has. Cause I got the impression that Matt kinda liked Jessica, but even after he saved her life she never stopped giving him shit. (Though, truthfully, she gives everyone shit, it’s her thing.)

What the hulk said in the beginning of the show was right tbh , even if her anger was justified (which it is) if she gets that angry , they will try and spin it and make her seem like a monster and the public will . Which is realistic tbh, the media expects u to act cool and calm in situations that causes someone to get pissed , and when u get angry and it’s justified they’ll spin it and make u seem worse
Because the media only seek to sow division and shame human beings for responding like human beings as if they wouldn’t do the same in similar situations (not that they ever actually put themselves in anyone else’s shoes).

Yeah. I do like how what Bruce said to Jen in the first episode ties into what she did towards the end of the 8th episode. I wonder if Jen will think and acknowledge to what Bruce said in the final episode. Won't be surprised if I hear Bruce saying something like "I told you this would happen", next week haha.
Thats something people expect even from celebrities. Like if you're well known you can never get mad at anyone or you're the asshole. The moment you get money or fame you are more of a thing than a person even youtubers face that.

They did SO WELL with the music this episode. My heart rate picked up when they played the Marvel logo theme as Jen got into her closet, and same with the Daredevil theme.

I absolutely love Matt and Jens chemistry, I loved to see this other side of DD smiling laughing the banter it was so good. I hated that the whole episode had me smiling and the last 5 minutes took a nose dive. I hurt so much for Jen, we doing a whole video and they mad that she hulked out not only having that shown in front of her peers but her parents! And now Bruce’s warning in the first episode is what she’s gonna be known for ugh! Such a great episode, great reaction as always guys ❤
I prefer the red suit. Personally I like Ben Affleck's costume because it was so reminiscent of the comics. If they mixed both costumes it would be perfect. The slim design and red tone of the Affleck suit mixed with tactical elements of the Netflix suit such as protection in key parts of the body. Put the DD logo on it and it would be perfect.
Fun fact: The yellow and red suit was his first suit in the comics and it was a tribute to his father, the colors are the same as Jack Murdock's boxing suit.
It's also the colors from his father boxing attire from DD S1 with the red and gold colored text Battlin' Jack
This is one of the best episodes of any marvel Disney plus show imo. I hope the finale is at least 45 minutes

She hulk is a 30 minutes comedy/sitcom series tho. Don't expect the finale to be over 40 minutes

I’d love to see them all come back. Especially Iron Fist. His show was doomed from the jump and the character/actor didn’t get a fair shake. I enjoyed the second season waaaaay more than the first season and I liked him in Defenders
Hells yeah, let them all to be back! About Iron Fist, Finn Jones was awesome and deserves a better written story, ALSO, he needs to really train for this, cause he was ignoring trainings and just focusing on the acting. That was his mistake and he can't repeat that.

You can't tell me there's a case against Jen. She was attempting to stop people from displaying pornographic images of her that were taken without her consent, and she has super-strength so naturally in a moment of panic she hit a little harder than she probably should have. She probably owes the venue damages, but that's the worst of it.
The bottom line of the Intelligencia’s plan there was to make her publicly look bad. In episode 1, Bruce gives her a warning where he says “Once people see you as a monster, that never goes away.” The guests at the gala see her rage out like her cousin used to, that’s what will dominate the conversation more afterwards. It sucks, but that’s the reality of the situation. The Intelligencia undoubtedly knew Jen would react the way she did, but to them it doesn’t matter since they still got what they wanted by making Jen look bad in front of as big of a crowd as they could.
But she's the superhero lawyer, will it be matt defending her?
Well they set her up in a way that she looks at some shady people wearing masks, charges at them through the wall, lifts them up angrily. All to make Jen look bad in front of everyone. Clearly, people are gonna get the worst context of all. "she hulk got mad and almost went on a rampage"

@@edmontesdeoca7485 I very much doubt it. Superheroes sometimes get rescued in the first and second acts, but never in the third. In the third, they always have to save themselves.
What happened to Jen at the end reminded me so much of the Hulk movie from 2008. Ross provoked Bruce in public, causing him to turn and do damage, because he wanted everyone to fear what he was. If William Hurt wasn't gone (RIP), I would have assumed Ross was involved in this, it was so petty, it feels like something he would have done. I wouldn't be surprised if some old Hulkbusters were involved. I would hope Blonsky isn't involved, but who could say, maybe that will be a twist in the finale.

Having Matt Murdock/Charlie Cox back is a blessing.
This episode was probably the best, not just for Matt & his chemistry with Jen but also how well the ending was of Jen now becoming seen as a threat, the fight sequences, and even side characters like Nikki, LeapFrog, Luke, etc. we're in their A-game in it.
Prediction: Ya'll about to lose your shit for this one.
I'm soo gald this channel exists and the only one I listen to till the end....cause its fun to watch....they talk real shit....like they are really talking sense and can actually inspire people to be really understanding and be happy about the stuff they are getting
Last comment: Daredevil probably won't head back now, that shit with Jen at the Gala would be all over the news. He'll probably hear about it and come to her aid, since I think her firm will disown her and her colleagues will be barred from representing her, and she won't represent herself, they already established that when Mallory represented Jen against Titania.
The wait was worth it for Matt to show up, but gotta appreciate #StruggleNation for actually enjoying the show, characters and the story for what it is, not just because Daredevil was gonna come back. #StruggleNation thanks for the all positivity 🤘episode was a legit rollercoaster, and the finale is gonna be fire. It'll be interesting to see if the finale is gonna be self contained, or have big implications for the MCU going forward.
We know Leader is gonna be in Captain America 4, and there's been rumours that She Hulk might make an appearance there too. Gonna be a hell of a wait and see, regardless i'm pretty pumped for next week's finale

Episode 1 was supposed to be shown later in the season but was switched. The audience being scared and pulling guns was a call back to what Bruce said about being seen as a monster.
People think MCU = serious as Winter Soldier. It's like they haven't put together that we're dealing with a UNIVERSE of characters. These aren't all "Bond Films."
Some characters (think: Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man) are comedy relief. Some are mid-range (Iron Man, Thor), while others are serious (Black Panther and Captain America). Combined, these character bring all their personalities to the screen, especially during mashups like Infinity War, Endgame, and soon - Secret War.
In the comics, character series have a different feel, and She-Hulk has *always* broken the fourth wall, like Deadpool does. She, like Deadpool, is comedy relief with a splash of seriousness.

Great episode. I loved She-Hulk and Daredevil's interaction in this episode. It was fantastic to see Luke Jacobson again. Daredevil doing the walk of shame was funny. Intelligencia has no chill. Overall I've been enjoying She-Hulk. Dammit, Leap-Frog and Todd. Daredevil fan since 1986. I had an inkling that The Southern California Law Female of The Year Award was set up by Intelligencia. Jen went full Hulk and ultimately lost her self-control for the first time, mirroring how Bruce Banner's Hulk acted in the early days of the MCU. Jen and Matt have great chemistry. Some easter eggs for this episode. The Sokovia Accords, according to Matt Murdock, have been repealed. Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox, has become an essential part of Phase 4, making several cameos ahead of his MCU Disney+ TV show. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 8 takes a lighter tone with the character, demonstrating his quick wits as seen in the comics when he worked alongside Spider-Man.Todd coerces Jennifer Walters into meeting him so he can show off a photograph of his Wakandan war spear. It's interesting to see Wakandan artifacts for sale, albeit only on the black market and as collector's items. Todd paid one million dollars for it. She-outfit Hulk's is a brilliant purple and white ensemble inspired by more modern interpretations of the character, which is thankfully more tasteful than some of her classic low-cut outfits. Meanwhile, Daredevil ditches his traditional blood-red costume in favor of a mustard-yellow costume straight from the comics. Daredevil's yellow super-suit was a tribute to his father, Battlin' Jack Murdock, at the time. Daredevil's introduction in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 8 is delightful, with the classic Marvel Netflix theme tune playing in the background. She-Hulk breaks the fourth wall to speculate that the series finale will feature a Red Hulk. There is a Red Hulk in the comics, General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, though he is unlikely to appear in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

Except for the fact that they’re not going to bring Daredevil back for the finale. If you bothered paying attention after Leap Frog was taken away, you would have heard Murdock tell Jen he had to go back to New York in the morning. Why would they write that into the episode just to have him come back one episode later? As for Jen, you do realize that she works for a law firm and has plenty of lawyer colleagues who could take her case, right? They’re not going to waste Murdock for that.
In addition, Charlie Cox was at D23 (which was held September 9-11, shortly after episode 4 aired for this) where he stated outright that he was only in ONE episode of this show. That one appearance being this episode.

Matt Murdock/ Daredevil was absolutely great, everything whit him was perfect and his relationship with Jen was very very good, they have chemistry.

I love this show! It's a Law show, that was made clear from the beginning. I love all the shows because of the time we're given to learn about the characters. Jen is a lot of fun, and the struggle to balance her life is real. Being a Hulk throws an entire new perspective into it. Plus, so many seeds have been planted in this show for Marvel's future.
