Regarding your question about She-Hulk in the comics, she was actually the first major superhero to break the fourth wall, like a decade before Deadpool, and she would routinely jump out of the page to roast her creative team.

Yeah, I needed some closure on that part specifically. I do think they left a lot of loose ends and they rushed the ending. The introduction of Hulk's son could have been the end credits scene (swapped with Wong taking Blonsky with him). I also thought Titania would have a little more impact on the overall story, it was not obvious if she was in on the whole Intelligencia bit, or if she was going to be on Jen's side at the end.
Interesting that he never showed up again after Ep 7. It’s like he knew everyone was coming after his ass so he just bailed out of the show completely

I've never seen that ancient thing but definitely heard of it and I had a gut feeling this show would definitely parody that so I looked it up and it was almost frame for frame the same. Luckily I had that feeling because I had no idea what the original hulk intro was at all until now.

Jen was actually the first marvel character to break the 4th wall. She would fully dunk on the writers of the comics and the cover art and stuff just like this.
She hulk regularly argued with the writers and artists (often about her outfits). She also once ripped pages out of her book to avoid the climactic battle.

To answer the question to as where Matt Murdock came from when he dropped out of the sky, K.E.V.I.N. pulled DareDevil from his new Marvel show and dropped him through the She-Hulk panel. He dropped in out of the air just as Jen did when she went to Avongers Assemble.
This finale was MCU genius! Homage to Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno…sticking with the comics’ breaking the 4th wall and comedic aura and creating a 5th wall which makes the character more interactive with the viewers. Loved it

Jen always talked to her writer, John Byrne. She sometimes jumped panels, or ripped pages. You guys would love Byrne's She-Hulk comic run. As a She-Hulk fan and a Byrne fan I'm happy with the show. Loved your reaction.

I had no idea because I've never seen the original. But I had a fleeting feeling that this show would parody the original Hulk. But without that I would have had no idea.
Back in the John Byrnes 80s run, Sensational She-Hulk, Jen would always break the 4th wall and was keenly aware of the fact that she is in a comic book. With that knowledge, she would use it to her advantage to get an upper hand on the bad guys. She'd often take control of the story, tearing through pages, skipping plot points and interacting directly with John Byrne along with story editors and illustrators. You missed the Black Panther reference when K.E.V.I.N. said the visual effects team had moved on to another project. Orphan Black is the shxt!

I enjoyed this show for what it was and at least they tried something different with the finale. That being said Charlie Cox and Tatiania Maslany have awesome chemistry and I hope we see them together a lot more in the future.

Happy to see him but not sure I like his looks. I would have loved to see the more savage Conan the barbarian way some artists drew him, but I'm fairly certain he will be very different than in the comics.

She's been doing it since the 80s, yeah. Talking to Byrne, who was writing her run. Criticizing him for the choices he was making and stuff. There was a series of conversations with Blonde Phantom - a golden age hero - who she teamed up with, who taught her to go beyond just talking to Byrne early in her run and do stuff like cutting across panels and pages.
A little bit of an homage to Blazing Saddles as well!

I just wanted to say how much I love you guys for seeing and acknowledging the fact that this woman deserves some love. I know that this show isn’t everyones cup of tea, thats the thing with staying true to the comicbook character.
She-Hulk does these weird wall-breaking things all the time. You like that or you don’t. You think it’s a fun thing or you don’t. Comedy works different for everyone. Don’t attack people for having a different opinion. We all just want to have a good time.
You want a more darker character? Watch Moon Knight or Blade. You want fun? Watch Deadpool. Same universe totaly different shows/movies.
you need to read the 90s comics, she did this kind of 4th wall breaking a lot. she even had an issues where she had a meeting with her editor to discuss possible story and art directions
She-hulk debuted 2 years before Deadpool. So she's the first marvel comics character that can break the four wall.
11 years before him. 1980 vs 1991.
Deadpool debuted in New Mutants #98 in 1991. She-Hulk debuted in November of 1979 with the Savage She-Hulk #1. So no she debuted waaay before deadpool and the deadpool we have now is literally not the same deadpool that debuted. When he debuted and for year he was literally just a 1 to 1 copy of Deathstroke from DC. it wasn't until the comedians started getting involved with writing you got the deadpool we have now.
This episode begins with a parody of the original Incredible Hulk TV series, which I enjoyed. The She-Hulk breaks the fourth in style was excellent. Matt interacting with Jen's family was fun. Also, loved the nod to She-Hulk's comic book debut, The Savage She-Hulk, in the title card. This episode introduces Hulk's son Skaar. I enjoyed She-Hulk. It was fantastic to see The Abomination, The Hulk, Titania Pug, Matt Murdock's Daredevil, and Wong again. During the finale, She-Hulk uses Bruce Banner's catchphrase from The Incredible Hulk TV series; "Don't make me angry. "You wouldn't like me when I'm mad. Some aspects of She-Hulk's conversation with KEVIN are unsettling, particularly the remarks about the visual effects team, given the magnitude of Marvel's recent VFX problems. Jessica Gao, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law creator, and writer, can be found sitting at a table in the She-Hulk writer's room, discussing the finale. She-Hulk walking around the real Disney Studios in Burbank, CA, was incredible.

Nailed it with the mindset. Ppl have too many unrealistic expectations. Yes, there were weak episodes, but there are great ones too. Is it emmy worthy? No! Enjoyable? Yes, thats what the mcu is, enjoyable content.

I loved this entire show. I think it knew exactly what it was doing. It played off our own expectations, it messed with trolls, it exploited our desire for cameos. The whole series showed how many people missed that all the characters they introduced, the humor they went with, and all that were absurd. It’s sad that a woman trying to tell her story is as ridiculous as breaking the 4th wall. The whole point of this show was about Jen coming to terms with herself. She’s constantly being told what to do, who to be, and how to be it. She was living by society’s rules. This episode is about her standing up and saying, no. This is me. This is my story. And I will take control over my life and I will choose it’s ending. They used her ability to break the fourth wall to let her LITERALLY decide her ending. It was perfect.
