Thanks Darrell! We try to do our best and put everything into prospective. Things can always be worse. We've had some tough times of course but getting mad never solves anything.
I am not surprised that you guys had an absolute blast in Puerto Rico. I went there between advanced degrees at UCLA and stayed for 40+ years. Where to next? Staying in the Caribbean now that hurricane season is almost over is a great option. I know Jan, the owner of the place you guys stayed in Old San Juan. Have fun...
Thanks Stevan! We definitely wish we had more time to spend there but hurricane season was bearing down on us so we headed to Curacao for a few weeks and now we are in Colombia!
@@SailingOneLife Enjoy yourselves and be safe. Curacao is a very interesting island and a different culture from many of the other Caribbean destinations. Goede wind en kalme zeeën, mijn vrienden.
@@SailingOneLife Man.... y'all wanna get me into trouble with the many friends I have from the DR all the way to The San Blas Islands. Each one is different. Each one is unique. My career was managing hotels and resorts all over the Upper and Lower Antillies Chain so each sailor has his/her favorite. Let's just say that you were visiting in March 2021... but I'm still gonna get busted. :-))
Ah yes for sure totally agree on the March 2021 place! You are definitely right, every place has its own charm and something unique. We hope to check out the San Blas Islands at some point, we've heard it's a favorite stop for many sailors.
Haha your hike reminded me of a time when I lived in British Columbia and hiked a lot there...I get it now why they call it RAINforest lol Gosh that hike of yours was muddy!! Started to remind a waterfall on the way down.
Outstanding, lol By the title I thought something went bad. I'm so happy it as just you all getting to leave. :) Is it next Friday yet? :) :) Have an awesome week Y'all, Be safe.
Good question! We actually keep a spreadsheet of items which includes what's on hand and what we need to buy. It's been adjusted over the months based on where we are. Lots and lots of cans.....you can never have enough canned items and as much meat and cheese as we can fit in our freezer - which after vacuum sealing is quite a bit. Happy to chat more with your wife about specifics. She can send us an email at sailingonelife@gmail.com
I lived in Puerto Rico for a year helping the people restore power
Oh wow, that is fantastic! What part?
Pretty funny ! Where we going ? I don't know but we're not staying at that dock any longer ! Ha Ha Ha

Hey Stan! B&B are like family to us! Glad you came over to check out our channel! Cheers! 🤙
Omg, muddy and a thunderstorm. A nice break from boat chores for you both. Yay, back on the blue. :)
The rainforest was awesome! I can't wait to go hiking there.
Brooke you and Gary are getting very good at You Tube
Oh thanks Mike! Hope you are having a good weekend!
HA!! After 37 back to back episodes I finally figured out who Gary looks like, Rocko off Boone Dock Saints.
Hilarious ending in the grocery store. Nice video in San Juan. Another “slippery when wet” hike. Nice to be along for the ride. Cheers 👍🇺🇸😎
I love watching your videos, no matter what you guys go thru, you never get mad are upset. Always a smile comes thru. Thanks

Thank you for joining us on this adventure! 🍻
Great video
Thank you, Magnus!
I'm sure that trail was tiring with the slippery factor. Lots of extra energy to stay on balance and take extra steps.
It was super slick! We made it though and had many laughs along the way!
Haha your hike reminded me of a time when I lived in British Columbia and hiked a lot there...I get it now why they call it RAINforest lol Gosh that hike of yours was muddy!! Started to remind a waterfall on the way down.
It was such a mud pit! All part of the fun! 🤣 Even though we didn't get a view at the top it was a ton of fun.
Outstanding, lol By the title I thought something went bad. I'm so happy it as just you all getting to leave. :) Is it next Friday yet? :) :) Have an awesome week Y'all, Be safe.
Thanks, Gibb! Oh no, nothing bad, just FREE again! ⛵ Hope you have a great weekend! Cheers til next Friday! 🍻
For the love of God, treat yourselves to some good quality hiking boots!😁
😂 we totally should! One of these days!
Wife wanted to know what all you guys got on the big provisioning run! What does 3mo of food look like for you two?

🙏🏻...
Maybe you already mentioned in a previous video, but, how much did it cost for you to stay in the Marina? It looked really nice.
Marina Pescaderia was a great deal! We were paying about $400 per month for the 3 months the boat was there.
