Every night, my 4.5 year old gets 1-2 original Thomas the tank engine stories told to him. This has been going on for about 1.5 years. His dad and I take turns doing bedtime. So we have almost two years of divergent stories that we forget as soon as we leave the room. I’ve done so many may days and christmases on sodor with absolutely zero continuity. Anyway, that’s basically the same level of care PLL took with their very popular show lol. Absolutely amazing video.
Also this is only tangentially related, but your mention of Emily's birthday reminded me - I remember around the time the Dollhouse episodes premiered, I saw a post on Tumblr noting that Spencer's birthday happened while they were all being held and tortured in there and I haven't forgotten about that after almost a decade.
35:14 Yeah from what I’ve heard/read, that’s actually pretty accurate for CPS in America. Especially with well-off families. If the child looks clean and fed and has a roof over their head, they’ll almost never intervene. Not that I think they needed to intervene here, because obviously A was just fucking with them. It just tracks that a CPS call in a situation like this wouldn’t go anywhere.
1:30:48 Technically it’s the fourth Thursday in November. So usually that’s the last Thursday, but like last year there were five Thursdays in November, so Thanksgiving was on the 23rd, not the 30th. But yeah, really unfortunate for the PLL writers that they were also locked into almost the shortest amount of time possible between Halloween and Thanksgiving!
I literally just found this channel and after rewatching pretty little liars. How much stuff was that finale it didn’t even feel like a finale on but feel like every time I rewatch it. but I enjoyed your content❤
One thing is it is possible that the Halloween train wasn't exactly on the 31st and took place just before halloween, it only helps the timeline by a few days at most but is something to consider at least
In the US the month you graduate depends on where you live. For example, I'm from NJ and we, including the other North East states start school in Sept. and graduate late June. Down south they graduate in May because they start school in August. So in the show they wouldn't have graduated yet. It would've been another month.
Wow! Amazing video, crazy how long this month actually was haha. Also, in an older video (Alison love interests) you mentioned that you might do a deep dive into each of the liars. Was wondering if you're still thinking of doing this as it would be so interesting to see! ♥
Ok, turns out there are only about 2 days an episode, it’s been years since I watched it but in my mind it’s always more, plus it kinda always feels like the weekend, but school is always a window dressing to keep the creepy couple together
it didn’t take place on halloween, it served as the halloween episode because of the spookiness and was considered “a halloween special” but wasn’t ever mentioned that it took place on halloween- therefore it doesnt
@@dilaurentisliarsthank youuuu I was trying to explain this to someone on instagram and they weren’t understanding that wasn’t technically a Halloween episode
34:00 omg, greetings from vienna, hope you had a lovely time here! idk if you remember bc it was probably a year ago or longer, but I messaged you on instagram to say I love all your videos, and they've only gotten better since then!! appreciate all the time/effort this must've taken too xx
Also Toby graduated the police academy in like 3 days 😂
More like 3 hours😂
I feel like even the police academy in the police academy films was more rigourous
i just know the liars scream cry and throw up whenever November 2011 is mentioned
My headcanon is that they all had to repeat senior year but no one mentioned it
That's the only way I can process it honestly.
me interpreting toby becoming a cop in 3 days as a commentary on the american judicial system rather than the writers poor timeline planning
To be fair, if there is one month that is never-ending, it’s definetly November (as a college student 💀) Love the content as alwaysss 🫶

the fact that discussing one month did take you almost a two hour video is mind blowing 😂 but we still love pll 💐
Posting this on the last day of the month, in fact, gave my brain the most diabolical massage - thanks!

We NEED the deep dive about the lodge fire
🫡
104 days or 149 days😂😂 Marlene needs to be put in jail for this
the pll thanksgiving is even more iconic than the episode from gossip girl
pll >>>> all other teen shows😌
i think the funniest part of all this is that it made PERFECT sense in my 15yo head back then
I wonder at what point during all this the writers thought "maybe we should move onto December"
Spencer Hastings' November 2011 is my Roman Empire

this is how long every month felt to me in my senior year of high school too
I just had to comment, the fact that the entirety of season 4 takes place in less than 1 month is giving the twilight saga a run for its money
The dedication, the work ethic, the content, you are serving!! I’ve always wanted a breakdown exactly like this, let’s go
November 2011 in pretty little liars is basically there equivalent to the movie groundhog day🤣😂
LITERALLY 😂

If 5x13 was a Valentine's day episode it would all be fixed!
OMG YES! This is the PLL vid I’ve been waiting for!
💖
I need an Alison deep dive and aria too cuz they both had so much more potential!! Thanks for the PLL content ❤️
I need a video tallying every time each of the liars *almost* passes away
you should also do a video about the summer that alison went missing
🫡
i’ve literally been thinking about this for so long

It says on the poster it’s on the 31st I think

only realistic thing is that in the US you probably can become a police officer in 3 days
omg this made my whole day thank you for this! I just recently rewatched PLL again, and the timeline always bothered me😂😭
lol same😭🫶
🥰
American viewer here!! Love your videos. Rewatching PLL for the billionth time love this insane show lol this is absolutely nuts lol
Just what I needed after a long day!
🥰

Sorry king 🤭
@ HAHAHA I love it tho
I feel much better about having a note to track the passage of time in the story I’m writing now

This is so exciting!!!!!!!! Thank you 🥰🥰
🥰
Emily’s birthday in the books is April 24, 1994. There’s a separate PLL book wiki where it’s listed!
do you know where the show birthdays come from?
Not gonna lie. First I time I watched this show I never realized how messed up the timeline was 😂😂
so excited for your book! :)
Thank you so much 🥹🫶🏻
I love how you posted this mere hours before the end of November. 👏 👏 👏
i love this sm. can't wait for your book 🩷!!
Thank you so much that means the world 💕
braver than the army and marine for going though that, kudos
yesss! thank you Lauren girly❤❤

Since most episodes are 3 or 4 days, I’m guessing about 130 days.
Ok, turns out there are only about 2 days an episode, it’s been years since I watched it but in my mind it’s always more, plus it kinda always feels like the weekend, but school is always a window dressing to keep the creepy couple together
please come teach this at my uni!!! i love your channel sm
❤️
Missed you queen
sooo it was Halloween twice?? Halloween train and then when they went to ravenswood and Ali revealed she was alive??
it didn’t take place on halloween, it served as the halloween episode because of the spookiness and was considered “a halloween special” but wasn’t ever mentioned that it took place on halloween- therefore it doesnt
@@dilaurentisliarsThank you for explaining -- I was confused too 😅
