Subbed and liked. Cheers! I would like to say that you really need to treat yourself to some new brushes. They are looking very tired. If you see your brush full of paint, rinse it off. Never let the paint more than half way up the brush. Water and paint on the brush. Looks like an army needs painting behind lol. Keep it up. Cheers!
Thanks for the sub and the like, and thanks for the feedback. You’re absolutely right of course, paint consistency and brush overloading have ever been a weakness of my painting. I tend to take a little more care when painting off camera because I don’t have to worry about keeping the model in focus, and centred on the camera, and the brush tip visible. Also, I tend to paint a little quicker on camera as the longer it takes the more the model moves and the more I have to speed up the footage which, from experience, doesn’t look as great. Treading the fine line between a reasonable paint job and a good looking video is also something that I’m constantly working on. None of this is really that good an excuse 😄 I need to make more time to practise. I should have more time to do now that I’ve finished working on the last of the big Ultramarine issues (which were a pig to paint and edit). Anyway, now that I’ve taken up your entire tea-break with an essay. Thank you for watching 😄
