One thing in particular that I enjoy about these time lapse/snow storm videos is when they include the quiet, blue light of the sunrise. Thank you for sharing this video.
@Nathan P. Cuckerston Hey, Cap't Oblivious! It's humor, dude. You gotta take your pills every day or you act up like this... I especially put the winking emoji for morons like you.
I remember this storm because we had be rerouted through Canada to fly to Switzerland. Our original flight had a layover in D.C but that was not an option for obvious reasons!
6:12. It annoys me that some people think it's smart to shovel snow onto the street. Where do you think that snow is going to end up when the plow comes by? Right back to the side of the car to create the mountain you just shoveled. Plus, it's a slip hazard for cars too. Instead, throw the snow behind or in front of your car.
I hope we get some snow this year. I miss watching it fall and accumulate. I miss the quietness of a snowy, nighttime walk. I also love to bake when it snows, and my guys really miss that part. LOL Thank you for sharing this. 😊
Me, too! I live in NJ, a few years ago, we had a lot of snow, but the past few years were light. I love watching the snow fall, too. Loved your comment, brings back memories!
Im from az,had never experienced nothing like it in my whole life i was in goodhue MN, what a memorable time in my life, it's been 3 years and I can just close my eyes and go back,,at this moment im in az temperature is 72 degrees, at 10:26 PM in 5/18/ 10..i also was in another blizzard on April of 2018 got to see 27inches in oakdale Minnesota,
@@Tigez oh yeah I know where that is. I'm pretty sure that Fairbanks is the coldest city in the US. Then again I don't see how Duluth, Minnesota, or something like that could be getting any more snow than the heartland of Alaska is so I guess it's true
@@jessebaker5940 it has happened to me in March 2018. There was a cold wave from Siberia and the streets were full of snow. The snow that came was around 2/3 of the amount you see in this vid. I just wish it happened more often. Besides, barely anyone in London uses cars anymore so that wouldn't be much of a problem
@@foad664 I'm stuck in Texas until my husband dies lol. He won't leave and hates the cold. I go to Ohio and Tennessee to get my snow, but the last two years I've missed it.
Yeah, that was a fun one. Couldn't get my kitchen door open because by porch filled up with snow all the way to the top of the brick wall. And I had to go out my living room window to shovel out from in front of the front storm door. I went out 3 times that to shovel (an hour at a time) just to do the sidewalks and the porches. Then spent another day (again 3 trips out) to dig our my car and the street out to the center. We didn't get a snow plow on or street until the third day when most of the snow had either been removed from the street by homeowner's and renters or because it melted from the sun. It was a fun time for all. And there is something to be said for being retired. I have all the time in the world to get it done on my time schedule.
You guys think you can slow the blizzard and snow videos down just a tad. Love the snow I look forward to winter coming . At least there aren't any bitting stank bugs. ANY WAY I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. 👀⛄ YAAAA
Winter looks so beautiful! I wish we have one in our country but our country is near the equator so it would be impossible for us to have winter and it’s so boring and dull...
We had a fricken snowstorm blizzard this past winter. We had a record braking 4" of snow.We were shut down for almost a week.Because we had record breaking Temps aslo.Everything stayed Frozen. I have also seen it snow in the morning and be 70 degrees in the afternoon. Thanks for posting I enjoy the music also!
Thank you for making me want to watch Harry Potter rofl. Love these kind of videos :D Can't believe that 1 person throwing snow onto the once cleared road rofl.
In Michigan, they can issue a ticket if you throw snow in the roadway. Then again, that would be called a typical snow event here in Northern Michigan. Our problem is we get lake effect snow and it can go for days with snow squalls in between brief periods of sun. One hour is sunny, the next its snowing so hard, you cannot see. They seldom cancel school eather. Usually it has to be an ice event, not snow.
Just thinking of all this snow 2 years later and praying it doesn't happen again. I loved the smiley face in the snow but was bummed to not see the couple take their tarps off the cars...and see them go from there.
This is one big reason I hate having to park in the street. The plow just doing its job makes it way harder on the back digging your car out when storm is over. If I could I’d wait till snow melts 😳
Why don’t they put covers on their cars overnight and then in the morning you pull it off, it’s easier than any other method of getting the snow off. In hot countries we sometimes do that during the day so the interior and steering wheel mostly, doesn’t get too hot.
6 Minutes 29 seconds of normal winter weather, but no Blizzard.... There are 4 weather events that must be happening simultaneously in order for something to be considered a blizzard, according to the National Weather Service, and in this video, exactly ONE of them happens..... Just a snowy night....
Yes, well keep in mind we don't get this much snow all the time...if you grew up say in the Midwest where you know what a real Blizzard is all about, it's different...but in the MidAtlantic....they think it's a blizzard when technically it's not. They close schools with one or two inches...so you have to cut them some slack lol
It's kind of hard to determine whether those conditions were met. The wind criteria for a blizzard is sustained 35 mph, and visibility less than 1/4 mile for 3 hours or more. We can't tell whether or not those criteria were met based on the time lapse footage.
one can get fined for tossing the snow from your car and/or driveway into the public street. You don't often get caught, but it can be a fine-able offense.
Really had to move the car two spots closer at the start of the video??? What is that, 30ft closer? C'mon. Nevermind the fact that with all that space, still took 8 moves to do a 3-move parallel park while making a car wait to pass you.
@@callmecarmella i so do! I live in Australia, its drought most of the time, barely even rains, i could live in the snow the rest of my life! Im so tired of the heat 😣
So do I - I don't live anywhere too hot - South East England, not too far from London - but I'd love snow like this. After the summer we had, I really hope so, because it almost got to 40 degrees celcius here - that might not be hot to others, but for us with out normal temperature range, it damaged a lot of healthy people and caused a lot of pain.
