I agree with the new pair advice but I also use these Skulltec gel pads. They come as a sheet and can be folded or cut. I prefer cutting them into 1/4ths and then doubling them up under my wraps. Best knuckle pads I've found.
I have an old pair of mma style half-finger boxing gloves. Do you have any recommendations for a good quality pair of full gloves that doesn't break the bank?

If you go to walmart or academy you can find some that range from 20-50
