Vice is going in with a full film crew and the business knows everything is being filmed. Do you really think the business won't put on their best act for the show?
These one star reviews are painting a very manicured, fake image of what those establishments do (you don't just randomly get 1 stars). As a variety show, eh its content.
But if this "review" show was actually trying to do a proper review, they would go in undercover, not with a full film crew.

You don't shoot someone in the chest because they were drunk. And then he unloaded into the friends car because they were upset, freaking out that their friend was dead, and were gonna go after him.
If this guy was a bouncer that night, which, I think was the story (and if not, he should have just walked away, when the guy initially left & crossed the tracks), he had a decent period of time to call the authorities to handle it .

Needs to break down exactly what occurs and why. Verify ID is real (reasonably) check for basic ID security features, then after ensuing the ID is real (to the best of our knowledge) check the ID dates such as issues and expired (expired ID cannot be used even if it’s legitimate) check Birth date and picture to ensure it’s the person, and they’re actually 21+
Finally access control: actually letting the person in, dating or tagging them or otherwise doing what you’re required (logging entry, persons, etc)
You don’t log entry by checking a ID. You don’t verify ID by saying no entry. Those are not the same thing, but the way he said it makes it sound similar or redundant and it’s not…

Nowadays most shooting ear protection is actually electronic, so you're able to talk and hear people talking to you. They're so effective you can have a normal volume conversation while you're shooting guns and its no problem. The ear muffs amplify normal volume sounds such as voices and music and dampen noises over a certain decibel limit. It can get weird when you're at the gun range and you run into a porta potty to take a piss wearing your electronic ear pro and the sound is amplified significantly. Not that I'd know from personal experience or anything LOL

These guy's should stick with the gun range and stop teaching people how to get shot when attempting to disarm someone at gunpoint. These technique's rarely work in the real world. When they do work it is with a professional elite level operator/soldier who have advanced training. I am ex law enforcement and I wouldn't be confident attempting to disarm someone with anything more than a water pistol or a BB gun with these technique's. Your best chance is compliance, appeal to their human nature, tell them your name and say you have a family etc and hope the person with the gun does not shoot you. They will be likely be as nervous and pumped up with adrenaline that the slightest movement you make will make them react and squeeze the trigger before you and them realise what happened.

It's a great idea to give another opinion to either confirm or refute the low reviews of businesses. It's a good idea. Of course, a business will release you are filming them and, I assume, be on their best behavior: Nevertheless, it seems like weird things (from the few other reviews of yours I've seen) seep out anyways for you to comment upon, which is good.

I really liked that green beret low ready to ready shooting. Flawless form. Half the mag should be dumped before moving your arms. It lowers the weight of the gun therefore you can gain sight picture more faster, and more better.
Also the baton stuff was from a us marine corps training film from the 1940s.

I've always found those moves these sketchy security companies teach you about how to disarm someone holding you at gunpoint (especially with your back to them) really cringe because reality is a lot different than what they're teaching you in the classroom. Do they really think it's practical that you can turn your body a full 180 and grab the gun before the gunman can twitch his trigger finger? Sounds like a class to take if you want to know what it's like to get shot and/or die.

Saying this as a competitive shooter and firearm instructor. Can already tell he's a BS tacticool instructor by 0:13 He shoots 2 shots then immediately retracts the gun to a compressed low ready. In a real self-defense scenario, when you shoot to defend your life, keep the gun ready to take additional shots while you assess the effectiveness of your first string of fire. Also, 8:07 instructors should not demonstrate techniques they're not teaching, nor should they show off their skills. Putting it into your novice student's head they can rack a gun off their belt without careful instruction is an accident waiting to happen.
