It’s funny to me how few people play anti-artifact. Back in MY day, you had 4 Disenchant / Shatter / Crumble / whatever precisely to answer these kinds of lock-out (or combo) artifacts. /OldManTellsYoungstersHowItWas
@@Leon14344_ boring in what way? Making a strong 75 that is resistant to interaction is the greatest feeling in the world. Also it adds a whole new layer to the game of transformative sideboards allowing you to juke out your opponent, or sideboard in a traditional way that lets you play to your weaknesses. Not to mention the fair it keeps the best decks in the format in check. This is also in addition to the fact that you need to win a best 2 out of 3 proving you are a better player and didn't win through just sheer luck in one game.
Regardless of how you feel about BO3 vs. BO1, LVD has stated in the past that viewership for BO3 videos is just not there. (I assume the same holds true here on the MTG channel as it would on LVD’s own channel.)
I think part of why op 1 scooped was because if they were just to cast it, due to the Thrull, they wouldn't gain the protection, so it was a losing battle.
Id rather play random decks but looking at the match making you will end up battling energy boros decks maybe because this deck works most of the time. Some players just want to enjoy playing but having 50% match up against these energy deck makes you question why are you playing historic. I wish wizard do something to nerf it.
Imagine this was a 2024 challenger deck. It'll be worth a ton of money but it'll still be funny to see in the format
Always great to see LVD in the channel!
The goat is back
🔥 It hadn’t occurred to me that you could use the Arena to give 2 creatures haste.
Return of the King!

Always love to see LVD on the channel. Would have been great to showcase these decks made for BO3 in BO3 instead of BO1 though.
Nobody plays BO3
@@Leon14344_sideboarding and not having your deck win based on solitaire is pretty dope! Bo3 is super fun!
@@raymondhorn1052 Nobody plays it because it's boring and not fun
