Sean is massively underrated compared to other musicians out there. Can see his progression in ability, technique and inspiration over the last couple of albums
I love his enthusiasm about his signature guitar. It’s literally like a kid on Christmas Day, which I think it’s incredibly important to keep that magic. If I weren’t solely a Jackson V player, I’d strongly consider getting this. Love the look of it and his excitement about it.
Well yeah wouldn’t you be excited about getting your own signature guitar? Having a signature series guitar of your own would mean lots of other players appreciate your playing. Not just non-musician listeners.
@@Hadouken5150 Signature guitar means there’s a market for people to purchase your guitar. At the end of the day, guitar companies are businesses that are meant to make money. He gets a signature guitar BECAUSE there’s people who are willing to buy, not just because he makes good music. It’s the reason why for the longest time rhythm guitarists wouldn’t get signature models (ask Scott Ian for example) - people/the market cared about the flashy solos. Lead players sell guitars, not rhythm (not saying I agree, just making a point).
All business stuff aside, of course I’d be ecstatic if I got my own signature guitar. My comment was based on his enthusiasm and how well he shows it. Hypothetical scenario, let’s say I get a signature Jackson RR and I talk about it. I like to think I’m adept with putting my thoughts into words, but my ability to explain anything goes out the window when it comes to displaying emotion. I don’t display my emotions well, nor am I able to describe how I’m feeling with something adequately (I’ll spare you the psychologist mumbo jumbo). My point is even if I’m truly excited about something, I’m very poor at showing how I’m feeling. Put me in front of a camera talking about my signature guitar, I think people won’t feel my enthusiasm about it. Inside I’m jumping for joy and could literally cry, outside possibly RBF. There’s other artists who talk about their signatures guitars, some display their enthusiasm and appreciation better than others. I really appreciate Sean’s enthusiasm. His reaction is one of the most genuine and heart warming reactions over receiving a signature guitar that I can recall in a long time.

Too be honest…I fucking love the simplicity of Sean’s Charvel. It reminds me of my Jim Root Jazzmaster in that it has just a volume knob and pickup selector. No push/pull bullshit…no tone knob…hard tail bridge. Perfect all around. And to make it stand out and unique I love the yellow bridge pickup. All in all I would love to own this Charvel. Maybe once my Balaguer arrives I’ll save up and get this gem.

I had the chance to play this guitar last year during the launch of While She Sleeps new record... Such a special band, I'm so happy Sean got a signature guitar, with Charvel of all companies.
I still have my Desolation Soloist and I love that guitar to piece. But it's time to get a new axe and this guitar could be the next one I may consider getting, the design, the neck and those pickups just sell it for me. Long live While She Sleeps and Charvel guitars!

I love superstrats. Im probably gonna get this one. I already have 10 guitars. Personally i like getting the Seymour Duncan blackout Neck pickup and putting it in the bridge position. I prefer alnico magnet pickups in the bridge position.
Did he just paint this guitar neon pink and change the pickups and paint the fretboard? Because it doesn’t look like this anymore. Now Charvel needs to make a reissue of his customized one. I’d be all over that Ish

See, I just can’t bring myself to buy an artist series guitar. I much rather buy a standard model and personalize it to my specs. That’s why o bought a 2010 MIJ So-Cal in white. I have plans to install Gotoh magnum lock tuners, replace bridge with Floyd Rose original with silent springs and a tremolo stabilizer, custom made 1H pickguard, and I’m still on the fence on which pickup I want to install. I’ve been playing EMGs for years and years. I kinda want to try a Seymour Duncan JB.
