"Eating exactly 47 sweetrolls" might be the most relatable thing I've heardall day.
I recall spawning the Emperor robes and wore it for this mission, you get unique dialogue from the guard, because you have to dress the part of a snobby noble. The guard says something along the lines of "only a pompous fool would dress like that"

The idea of being Champion of Cyrodil as well as the Hero of Kvatch and a Knight Errant for Leyawin and still being an unknown assailant is funny to me.

There's nothing quite like running away into the wilderness from an army of angry guards and civilians in your bare skivvies while begging for them to give up. Sanguine knows how to spice up any drab party.

It's cool how we can relate this to real life Roman/Greek mythology with Sanguine's parallel being Dionysus (Greek) or Bacchus (Roman), except Sanguine wants Cyrodilic Brandy instead of wine.

Brandy is, essentially, concentrated wine, and had distillation been invented when Dionysus was still widely worshipped, he'd probably be drinking it.

I always raise the disposition of the guard outside the door as high as possible beforehand and hit him with a charm spell just in case afterwards so he'll get rid of my bounty for me. I'm then barraged by a ton of other guards running up to me and initiating dialogue with me.
I need Salmo's recipe I can normally only eat 3 sweetrolls from Bruma before wondering if there's sawdust in the mix.
By far one of my fav channels to watch. Your banter with the npcs give an organic immersion to the games you're playing.
This is an especially fun quest if your character is Argonian
I was planning on running this myself! I always play an argonian, so this will be interesting I'm sure.

IIRC if you give Martin the Sanguine Rose, he seems to be familiar with it based on his comments.
That's cool that dialogue opens up after you've read a certain book. Oblivion is such a legendary game.

My favorite way of dealing with the guards is to have their disposition maxed prior to the casting of the spell (I mean like, disposition 100. Then any guard I meet just says something like "Hi, friend. You seem to be in a bit of trouble. I'll just pay off your fine. Go, be on your merry way" Very handy if the fine is small.

I remember doing this quest!
If I remember right, Oblivion was originally going to have topless female skins like Daggerfall. Would have made this quest a bit more spicy, but they had to remove that to keep a T rating.
It actually contributed to its higher esrb rating! I should make a video about that

@@DarkLOREDash Lol, that’ll certainly be an interesting vid. Looking through some archives after I made that comment, it seems the nude textures were left in the game and a someone quickly made a mod to use them. Lots of comparison to GTA’s Hot Coffee.
That said, the TES lore series that no one’s done (so far as I’ve seen) is exploring how the lore’s changed out-of-universe. Like how Skyrim and ESO tried to explain why Cyrodiil’s biome went from a jungle in Redguard’s Pocket Guide to grasslands and forests in Oblivion, or how Talos wasn’t a divine in Daggerfall because he was invented for Morrowind so they decide the Warp in the West had literally retconned him into having always existed.

When I last did this quest, I meant my armor, best weapon and all my feather jewelry outside the castle and picked it all back up then flesh straight to Sanguines shrine. Lost everyone chasing in the forest, then payed my bounty off with Armand Christophe. Pretty fun way to do it. Lol

Did the quest when I played a decade ago... of course with "lore friendly" mods the made the spell more... "immersive"😉👌

So I had a glitch occur because of this quest and the adarji ring quest for the thieves guild being active at the same time and being partially through the thief quest. Basically don’t try to complete them at same time given how buggy the game is. So I had to get the ring from the box when she went to bed so while waiting for that I figured I’d interrupt dinner activate the staff disrupt the decorum and then return to sanguine and then come back to get the ring after problem was after I used the spell it caught the guards attention they chase me I bolt through the kitchen door load screen and then come back through when the guards load in on the other side back at dinner everyone is still naked and no longer running in terror they are back to just going about dinner like nothing happened and the guards also gave up pursuit and let me walk on by and didn’t reactivate the pursuit scripts when spoke to. Odd but whatever so I return to sanguine get the rose and go back to leyawin to get the ring from the box at bed time except now everyone but me is still naked and the dinner party never ends no one leaves the room alessia never goes to bed and I have to reload from a prior save to fix the issue because I’m now stuck not being able to finish the theives quest so I now make sure I’ve passed the ring quest before I do sanguine so I don’t potentially soft lock again.
A certain silver haired granny elf who gained popularity recently would love this spell.

I don't want a remake, I just want an updated engine like what Skyrim got with SE. I don't trust Bethesda to make decent games anymore, but they've been re-releasing the same game for over a decade, so I'm sure they can manage this.

Since God(s) is/are neither proven nor disproven, purely scientifically speaking, and this is the absolute Empirical fact as is today.
Nature as well, did not provide clothing.

In nature, clothes do not exist, therefore clothes are "unnatural".
A very good thing to have, surely, it helps against cold, heat, and protect you from harm.
But unnatural nonetheless.

Banning nudity has very negative consequences on the human mind, for it is in fact unnatural.
Let's do a test:
Get 200 "perverts" (like "Peeping Toms", and the like), and put them for, let's say, half a year in a naturist camp.
