They r beginners learning English. N she ask them to use the word "Catalyst" in a sentense! Even Stuck-up Brits DON'T use the word 'catalyst' in everyday convos.
Would love to see this show revived. Same concept and type of clean silly humor in a modern context. They'd have to be VERY careful though with our sensitive society.
It would be hard. Stereotyping and clichés are the heart of the show's humour. The point of the show is to play with stereotypical accents, and cultural traits, from all around the world and make puns jokes about it. Almost impossible to make this nowadays even if it's far less crude than some adult cartoons or series. And all this kind of gender stereotype hidden behind thoses nice memorable characters would not be acceptable today. At best they will have a new mister Brown having a gay muslim, an empowered indian woman, an african priest, or a manly french housewife as students. At worst it would be a bunch of nobodys learning English in a classroom with all the politcally correctness possible, completely diluting the main purpose of the show.
You correct.easier word would have been maybe: (start , for staring point or a word like foundation .) Even if you are not a builder it is common to many people that you start with a foundation.
Su Li really needs to work on those “r” and “l” pronunciations. For example, there is a difference between “alive” and “arrive”. At first, I thought she asked, “Mr. Brown not alive?” There’s also a difference between “collect” and “correct”. Last but not least, giving someone a “massage” is a completely different thing from sending them a “message”.
ITALY is a much bigger catalyst 🤣🤣...
Now.
The headmistress was the catalyst for the fighting in the class.
Juan Cervantes again🤦🤦🤦🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 this comedy will kill me
Juan is best by far
Su Lee:"I am not a Catalyst! Chairman Mao says that we must not believe in Gods!"
At 1:05 you can literally see Taro break down in laughter
Spot on 😂🤣

Excuse me but I'm learning English and I don't even know what Catalyst means! What do Brits use in everyday life for Catalyst? Thanks.
@@MAbduser : well, if you did high school chemistry in english medium. You'd know one of the meaning of catalyst. ;)
@@unicornbunny6190 I did chemistry in my own language. But never mind, I have just looked up the word in the dictionary. Thanks.
@@MAbduser Catalyst usually means a person/thing that precipitates an event. Ex. The detonator is a catalyst for the explosion.

"Mind Your Language "
A 1977 British sitcom. Simply awesome.
In their defense this word is not so familiar with beginners learning English she should've used an easier one 😅
As soon as I saw the caption of the video I knew Juan was going to be the one to speak first 🤣🤣🤣🤣
well to be fair, no one use the word 'catalyst' that often in conversations
True, but if I remember the series correctly, she never wanted to employ Mr. Brown so was possibly trying to find a reason to get rid of him.
Word catalyst would never be the same for me 😂
Brilliant actors n show
So brilliant actors ever

U cant have this show nowadays, people are too sensitive and will immediately cancel this whole show
@@SuwakoFan Can't agree more..Now a days people easily get offended
Oh shut up. There's literally family guy, Rick and Morty with much more darker sense of humour. This show isn't even offensive. It's fun silly humour.

thats exactly why Ms Courteney used that word to test them knowing that!!
This was a good one!
When he mentioned "spain" i knew it wont end well
is there any small healthy rivalry between spain and italy. just asking out of curiosity
I gave my cat a list of groceries!
I could be the catalyst that starts a revolution
