The guy playing the sergeant is an excellent actor, he played a very nasty role on an early Minder episode where Terry had to stop an assassination attempt.
He is fantastic. There are many minor characters that I wish had been recurrent, just occasionally, and as loyal viewers would know the backstory it'd be funnier. They kept MYL from being multi-layered though there was plenty of room to make it even funnier

Mr Brown is an angel, a loving responsible dad type teacher to his students. We need more human beings like him.....
That smile of Mr Brown when Ali repeated the same words of Jamila in the beginning.
Did he say "nahi" after that?
@@prabhakarj931 he said " in English "
I was wondering whether Bryan Evan was controlling his laugh during the shoot because it must be funny for actors while telling the script😂.
That cop is the ultimate G, He could have taken the bribe but instead makes Mr.Brown donate it to a orphans fund.
Man also makes Jamila a cup of tea.

True, why not, were the same nation not a century ago.
Northern India has a lot in common with Pakistan, compared to southern India.

@lalnunsangalalnunsanga1695 it's not a movie, but a series. The title is Mind Your Language
those old 1970s and 80s jackets and coats!! i used to have one too in 1981 a blue one similar to this one !!
the only crowd who enjoyed it the most are Indians, Pakistanis and the others who understand Hindi - Bangladeshis and Nepalis.
Me from Bangldesh🇧🇩😁

So does this mean his character a fake (he really knows English) or his is just in the class for the fun of it.
I love this show it is very funny it is one of the best show I have ever seen on television the old is gold
The inspector was really good you see… a good add on
The best caring teacher ever
I love all the cast...educational and funny,no racist.
LOL Ali Nadeem is that person you would want to have as a friend but also that person you should never share secrets with.
ali and ranjit speak good English. idk why they're even in the class LOL
The most interesting person Ali Nadeem♥️♥️

Wonderful Mr. Brown !
Best of British comedies
I believe that the actor playing the desk sergeant also had parts in Grange Hill and Star wars
And Auf Weidhersein Pet!
Bloody hell, you're right. Admiral Ozzel. Also played Adolf Hitler in _Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade._
Every part he played was terrifying to me as a kid 😂
Yes, but Michael Sheard will always be Herr Grunwald! 🤩🤩
