Say what you will about the practicality of this rifle, the craftsmanship is impressive. It would draw a crowd at the range, a conversation starter. I want one, an heirloom piece for sure

Trying to spread info about their firearm so they should add subtitles to make it worth watching.

    Alessandro,
Great video, I speak Spanish as well as English and can understand 70 - 80% of what you said in Italian. Great rifle, so great that I just purchased one chambered in 357 magnum. I should receive it next week Thursday. It will go well with my Taylor & Co. smoke wagon chambered in 357 magnum. Can’t wait to shot it.

A strip of Picatinny rail between the rear sight and the receiver would make that rifle into an instant 'modern' classic.

Ancora un ottimo video che ci dimostra questa bellissima arma. Ieri avevo una in mano, con canna ottagonale. Spero di acquistare camerata in 357 magnum presto! Cordiali saluti.

I’m hoping they start making replicas of the large frame Lightning rifles.

18:13 Is that Elmer Keith benching a Ruger #1? I think he died back in the 70s? The Ruger # one didn't come out before the 80s did it?
They're big on Hornady for hunting ammo.

Hei Steelgil, in the italian text I was saying that was Elmer Keith the man who helped in the developing of the .357 magnum caliber. No refs to the Ruger No 1 althought he is holding one so I suppese that at that time the No 1 was already at large... Best to You and thanx for the report!

My subtitles only give an Italian selection. Can anyone tell me what he’s saying about leverevolution ammo around the 17m mark and again around the 19m mark?

For anyone looking for subtitles, you can select the cog (gear) symbol, then choose subtitles, auto-translate, English. Not great, but enough to get the basic idea.

My cog only shows Italian. Wth

@@matthewvangennip9427 When CC is off, mine only shows "Off" and "Italian (auto-generate)". However, when CC is on, I get a third option of "Auto-translate". If I click on that one, I can choose the language.

20 in round cal 357 mag, what the.? Is it 20 inch barrel or 20 round gun or 20 round cal 357, even some basic understanding of english in the title of the video would help a bit.

English subtitles would be helpful to Americans unless you are trying to keep sales to Italians only

357 Mag. is allowed to hunt wild boar in Italy ???
In most European countries wild boar, red deer, bear, etc, require a minimum of 1000 joules of kinetic energy at 100 meters, which the 357 Mag. don't have.
Anyway, a 44 Mag. would have been much much better for this purpose, too bad Pedersoli don't make this rifle in this caliber.

    • @cacciatoriveri2
      @cacciatoriveri2  8 років тому +1

Yes sir, this caliber can be used for hunting purposes here in Italy. Obviosly the 44 rem mag made it far better expecially on drive hunting

Otto Matick I feel these rules are WAAAAY overpowering to the hunt. It's not about the size of the bullet or how much power it packs, it's about shot placement. Here in the USA we use bows that come nowhere near 1000 joules of energy to bring down elk and deer and hogs.
Often the poachers here in the USA use .22lr rifles at night to kill deer, using single shots to the brain so as to not need to track the animal and they use the .22 cartridge to not attract attention to their poaching.
My point is that with correct shot placement any caliber can kill up to a moose size animal. You don't need a super ultra magnum shooting at 1,000,000,000fps
