I realize I'm quite randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to watch newly released tv shows online?
Been addicted to Beast in Black for a little more than a year... in large part due to the vocals
Don't forget the blonde guitarist, he's the songwriter, founder and also the one who found the other members. He has a really catchy songwriting style that combined this sort of disco/pop boominess with metal and some killer solos. And then there's the drummer who's just killing it 100% of the time and always has a massive smile on his face. There's a ton of talent in this band.
Helps also that their songs are ridiculously fresh, amazing and completely over the top.
@@r2dezki It feels that nowadays bands choose the safe option, but not BiB. Synthwave power metal is a bold choice and they play it perfectly.
Last year I went to a Nightwish show and Beast in Black opened for them. What an incredible surprise, they are awesome live!

I wanted to go to that Nightwish concert, didn't because I got tickets for Within Temptation the same weekend, and none of my friends wouldn't come. Turned out Beast in Black opened for them, I still regret not going. Still want to see them (both) live :D
They are gonna be opening for them again for Nightwish this friday!

Someone has probably already suggested this to you, but I'd like to hear what you think of Yannis's cover of Ghost Love Score.
It's mindblowingly beautiful.
Not only does he do the soprano notes, he then brings his own twist to it. Yannis is truly gifted. I only wonder if he was ever bullied for his naturally high voice.
Can we all just appreciate the fact that the mic stand IS ON FIRE.
I first heard their song "Blind and Frozen," and I couldn't get it out of my head for months. They have a knack for insanely catchy 80's power metal, and his vocals are absolutely crazy.
The guitarist who formed this band also created Battle Beast. Check them out as Noora Louhimo is something special in vocals. I genuinely like both.
Legit, one of the best vocalists out there. He's got an amazing cover of Ghost Love Score!

finnish people concider this as discometal, another great band with a similar (a tad bit heavier) style is turmion kätilöt they have most of their discography in finnish but their musical style is truly unique and amazing.
Great episode and please do more from Beast in black. Yannis is one of my all time favourite vocalist. I got to see them live in Oslo recently and he is just as amazing live.
The dude can do full soprano, you need to listen to moooorrrre!!

I had the pleasure of seeing them live in concert. It was a beautiful experience. There is SO MUCH FUC*ING TALENT in this band. Best concert I’ve been to hands down.
I had the exact same reaction to this band as Carlos has here. Blown away. But impressed by all of them... the drummer, guitarists, singer. The melodies, the shreds... everything. These guys killed it.
Saw them live.........................can't wait to see them tour NA again!

Beneath some of their videos people ask who the woman is. Apparently it's hard to understand, that a man can get up there so easily.
Thank you for talking about owning your voice as it is. For years I was unhappy with being alto, because too many people told me it was boring. With a little support I've learned that being alto has some great features, but it's always good to be reminded that our voices are wonderful just as they are.
I feel that a lot of the reason why he was chosen as the vocalist was specifically because his voice is functionally a technically superior version of Battle Beast's vocalist, not to bash Noora.
I follow Yannis in his channel, he nails every song, he is amazing ❤️

I just saw them three times within the last two months... on an opening tour with Gloryhammer in London and on a headline tour with Myrath on Bratislava and Vienna. Full of energy live!!

Hello, I found Beast in Black randomly on spotify (Blind and Frozen song, before I saw the video I thought the singer was woman) and instanly fell in love with them! Btw. Yannis has his own channel for covers and his cover of Nightwish "Ghost Love Score" is something what u have to definitely check out!
Yea, he sounds like a woman quite often. And since Battle Beast has a woman that often sounds like a man, it's really different for me to tell which band is which.
Bring back the 80's!!!!!! I saw Beast in Black in 2018 before the concert of Nightwish and they where amazing!!!

Great reaction, and the lesson to take away from it is something I have been struggling with. I try to warm up and practise my vocals to songs I know, but subconsciously I am mimicking the vocalists I am listening to, and not letting my own voice do its thing. Thank you!! Someday I'll be able to pay you for how much you have helped me :P

So they split form Battle Beast and now there are TWO GREAT BANDS. I can see why there wasn't enough room in Battle Beast for both of them. Damn, he can sing.
Both are great but they're so similar it doesn't seem necessary to have two separate bands.
@@timmokoo5679 the two separate bands are "necessary" because the split was caused by Anton Kabanen, the guitarist and co-vocalist. He's the creative mastermind behind the band, but he wants unconditional creative control. Battle Beast started to disagree with that, so they parted ways, and Beast in Black was born.

That song threw me off the first time I heard it because it popped up in a youtube mix and I could have sworn it was a duet until I watched the video, probably the best showcase of his range and what he's learned studying opera.

Lost Horizon reference! Daniel Heiman for president! Saw them live,must been 15 years ago in Skelleftea,Sweden in a small club, like 100-150 ppl there and it was INSANE when he nailed the high notes live! Lost Horizon - Pure was the opener and I went nuts in the front row ;)

Yannis covers "Masque Of The Red Death" in a way that - dare I say - is superior to the original.
If you like this you should check out h.e.a.t they have insanely catchy melodic rock songs.
This song is in diapers compared to for example Berserker. Gotta love Carlos's reaction to the first "Oh babe!" hahaha!
I have mixed views on Beast In Black. On the one hand, the band are great. They have great pedigree, with Anton coming from Battle Beast, Kasperi coming from Amberian Dawn and UDO, and of course Yannis's vocals. But I just wish they wouldn't throw it all away in their live shows by putting so much on backing track (particularly vocals). If you're going to play live, then play live!
