I know it sounds bad, but I can't abide by a lever gun with a cross bolt safety, it's not right.
And before anyone roasts me, I have been shooting lever guns for sixty one years without a problem, common sense prevails.

It is just like the locks on smith and wesson revolvers, lawyers designing guns. I agree 100%, the gun would be so much better without it.

I’m really curious as to the main issue with the cross bolt safety ? I’ve noticed it bothers a lot of people. Is it the safety itself or the fact that it has a safety in general ? As someone who doesn’t use safeties when hunting it obviously doesnt bothered me lol.
