For the fire, for the beast etc. lines gave me goosebumps. The older I get the more I can relate to this song, perfect analogy of life in trying times.
Especially since the fire **is** effective against the beasts, which means that the "monsters" aren't the scourge but rather the blood drunk hunters who pursue them.

I feel like this song, with both lyrics and melody, perfectly captures how hunters become after the Hunt breaks them. Almost like a pleading child, beckoning for their parents to comfort them after a nightmare. Each do their part for as long as they can, hoping that something or someone will relieve them when they've reached the end of their strength. Well done man.
I know nothing about Bloodborne, but honestly, I really really enjoyed this song. It had an equal amount of sad and eeriness to it and it went together beautifully! Honestly, Aviators has become my favorite musical artist since I found his work. I've just been hooked by his great music! Keep up the amazing work, Aviators!
If you really spend time to look at all the subtle details and touches throughout the game's atmosphere, the whole game is pure genius. From the melted bodies moving when you hit them in the Hunter's nightmare to the growls heard throughout the Loran chalices, from the music box heard by Gascoigne's daughter's window, to the immersive scenery in the Upper Cathedral. The subtle physics on the blobs attached to infested rats, the smoky effect on the Boom Hammer, the mystical light surrounding A Call From Beyond and so much more are all little bits that make the game such a masterpiece.

You tell a story in your pieces and its something that tends to stay under the radar but with you I actually feel with my emotions from your lyrics and everything that helps it progress through the song...the song of blood.
What if the world was seen only as evil. Through everyone's eyes, each person and creature is a monster. The beauty of everything vanishes and fear controls minds. Would society fall from fear of everything? Would the brave turn into the monsters we see killing what they think is vile creatures? Would this be the end or would the hopeful soon learn that the world isn't all evil and learn that everything seen is an illusion. They wake from the fear they feel to be human again and see what truly is beneath the nightmare. You learn that nothing is real that you see. You learn about the true fears in this world, of those that feast on whatever is left. For when after sinners confess and the kindling ignites once again, they can redeem them selfs once again. Would you soon learn that you can't wake up from this dream and so; you live in it knowing no one will wake you when it's over.
Interesting idea. While I'm sure one could and would focus more on the moral implications of this scenario, I for one am curious of how it would affect society on a physical level. How long after this scenario went into effect would society have left to live?

The fire here is used as a symbol of the hunt the hunt being tempting. The blood on the other hand was used with the desire to ascend kill me with the blood's desire could allude to the great one ascendancy ending, or several other things to be honest such as the toxic nature of blood.

It's a wonderful depiction of the pleading silence after every boss battle, the desperation that every hunter feels and the desire to just see life without it being such a nightmare.

To me, this song fits the surrender ending of Bloodborne perfectly, the Hunter is tired of the nightmare and just wants to wake up.

The details are what get me, and in The Old Hunters they even tie all the lore together and it gets so much better. What an experience...
