- Since I started flying PPG, I have wanted to take off from where I live. This day the winds were favorable and I went for it. Experienced some sink on the way out but it all worked out. #paramotor #boone #ppg

Dude, thank God you are so fast on your feet because I saw a face plant coming!!!! I was doing that same thing for the longest time. Pulling up my Landing gear too soon. I had to make a conscious effort to leave my feet down until I clear trees.
Haha- my frame is pretty bent because I had to learn the hard way.
@@jamesdodzweit thank God, my frame is titanium. It’s been straightened out more than a couple times.

Yes I am. I like its stability here in the mountains. I never worry about it collapsing.
Yes i agree the roadster 3 was slow and twitchy replaced with the ITV Piper 22.5 and have been having a blast ever since…!

Boone, this time of year? Nah, you go ahead. Great views! W/NC is a gorgeous place to fly. Definitely sketch tho, specially as you go further west. I bet those fields look flatter from the sky, than they truly are. Come join me sometime in my little neighborhood(Hot Springs), or up in Greeneville. Blue Skies!
My Roadster3 24m is super stable up here. Never taken a collapse or anything close. Just a few bumps here and there.

@@jamesdodzweit it could stop.. haha Mine spins about 2" from my glider lines on climb. I always wonder how fun its gna be when it eventually grabs and wraps a few.
I consider this launch on a road in a neighbourhood RISKY !
Roads are for cars.
Some one will copy this launch and could end up in trouble.
Anthony- couldn’t agree more. Probably won’t ever do this again. It was on my bucket list and now that I’ve checked that box- will launch from the airport.
