You captured a day in the life of Tucker. Camera angles, Vlog, Jaclyn time, like seeing Jaclyn participating and not a watcher, coffee, repairs and tearing up the sky and explanations. Casey Neistat comes to mind. Needless to say but I'll say it, Killer video. Keep em rolling.
Power of accuracy landings were one of my favorites. I loved pulling power and managing energy. Knowing what you plane (or in your case wing) will do as far as glide ratio is important. Hitting the spot perfectly while also setting it down so gently no one knows you’ve landed is an awesome feeling.
I feel like your videos are the only ones I look forward to watching. Like honestly it's so nice knowing I can go on my lunch break and have a good 15-25 minute video to enjoy 👌
Hi, to fix your towbar slop, on the towbar itself dot punch a top corner angle about 1" in, drill a hole at an angle to take a bolt say 3/8, weld a nut onto that angled hole. Screw the bolt with another nut into the welded nut thread, fit the hitch and wind the bolt in until it meets the hitch tongue, tighten the nut to lock and you're done, no more slop. G'day from QLD, Australia
50ml shots are good glass man. Buttery on the eye. Loved the candid placement shot of motor and people. Sweet. Keep rippin and mixin it up Tucker. Love love love the change of focus, both on content and field of view. Well done. PS - I'll send you some Aussie Coffee beans. ;-)
TUCKER PLEASE READ THIS! And if you do, pin this as it is imporant! Today you made me scream at one of your videos. I was shocked (no pun intended) by a video of you taking off under some powerlines. As I work as a powerstation engineer and also fly a paramotor, it is my duty to tell you and fellow pilots about the risks of flying near powerlines. I’m only 20 years old, but I’ve already seen 2 burned corpses of paramotor pilots. One of them was a close friend of me in the community. You should know that the air surrounding those cables can be ionised up to a few feet away from the cable. When you took off in that video you swiped your wing over that line, this got me so mad because you don’t even know how lucky you were! Please make a vlog about the risks of low altitude flying!
Random Stuff Yeah, that definitely wasn't the safest thing. ;) I would be curious to learn more about the types of power lines and in what cases a paramotor wing could fry the pilot.
Random Stuff Education is important but your comment does nothing to reassure me you have the credentials you claim! First your age; very few people are out of college with a degree and working in the field. Second issue, chances of one person your age in any field to come across two burned corpses from different incidents is greater than winning the lottery! Third issue, though stupid; his chances of death would have been greater from the resulting fall to the ground rather than the electricity flowing through the lines. While I don't claim to have a degree like you; I have worked for two years cutting trees out of power lines for a company called Asplundh. Ever heard of them? Even a child can see birds and squirrels on live high voltage lines not being fried. You need contact with a hot line and another hot line or a ground to get fried. The resistance in a paraplane wing and it's chords is too high when dry to conduct even very high voltage. Now if he got entangled shorter up with two or more lines it will conduct and maybe kill him. Not likely but possible. When wet or damp out the risk gets higher. I could feel the electricity through an insulated push pole when it became damp and knew I was far closer than I wanted to be. Now if you had lines made out of carbon fiber everything changes as that's a highly conductive material and your might as well be touching the wires directly. Your going to die. Bottom line, even if you know your lines and wing are built out of non conductive material never put yourself in harm's way. Even flying ultralights I made sure I have a couple of hundred feet between me and the high lines if I need to cross over them. I don't want to risk an engine out or down draft taking me out while crossing a set of lines so I stay high.
It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to know that touching a power line while airborne won't electrocute you. Birds do it all the time. I'd be more worried about a power line making me crash than being electrocuted by it. If you can get your actual body across a couple of lines, then you can get zapped.
I apologize, I indeed do not have a degree in engineering. I am however a mechanic/technician in high voltage, my native language is French, I had not translated this correctly. You are very true about the circumstances of a high voltage electrocution. This is exactly my point aswell, Tucker got very lucky because of the way it happened. My friend was supposedly (this is what the investigators had said) supprized by a sudden wind blow during take off. This would then have caused him to drift towards the pylon. He could not react fast enough so he entangled in the lines and made ground with the pylon. I was an apprentice in the zone back then and had permanence (so I was called by my mentor to go with him). We then found him. The second one was similar, but he made a steering error and also entangled him in the lines, I had to de-energize the phases and had to go to the scene to make sure everyone was away to re-energize.
ten littleindians (adding to previous comment) The chances of conducting electricity trough a wing/cords are as said very slim, but the fact that he took the risk is why I got mad. You should never play with Murphy's law and that is the lesson I try to bring.
For the hitch I cut a piece of angle iron on 1 side leaving a small edge after the bend. Drill a hole through the hitch and pices of iron. Tighten with a bolt (with flat part on receiver and bent edge on hitch) and you will loose all play. If you need can send pic.
I think it’s safe to say that at least 80% of the people who watch this video have never been in a paramotor, nonetheless, a 2 seater plane or another personal aircraft. I think we are all just amazed by the thought that “THIS DUDE IS F%€&ING FLYING !”
I like that kinda eerie wind sound the wing makes when coming in motor off... at dusk, it's a bit fascinating when I watch other pilots come in to land after I'm down!
Tucker, put a couple ratchet straps from the front corners of the carrier up to the door hinges above. Put some pressure pulling up on the carrier to help eliminate the bounce.
In the Northeastern USA here - got the notification about 2:30pm or so - wasn't able to watch the vid until 8pm. All his other vids, and every other UA-cam vid played no problem ... but this one would just never load. First time that's ever happened since I've been on here ... and that's a long time.
Cool video Tucker! Loving your evolving editing style, as a user had mentioned before. I have a canon 50mm f1.2, and it's one of my favorite lenses. Tough to nail the focal plane manually though. Keep up the killer videos!
Even though I understand why it works, there’s a part of me that expects him to drop right out of the sky every time he does a barrel roll. There’s a part of my brain that simply refuses to accept that it’s actually possible. It says, “The chute is below him, ipso facto, he should fall. End of story”
Tucker, I have the same issue with the slop in the hitch. Buy one of these off ebay or amazon (Trailer Hitch Anti Rattle Stabilizer Lock down) Its basically a clamp that pulls up the slop in the hitches. This way you wont go rattling around. Fly safe! Robby
Tuck, in an airplane the most accurate spot landing technique is a steep descent approach at a reduced but safe speed. This is described in the old faa commercial certificate guide
I would agree that the same applies to a paramotor. If you want to be accurate, the best configuration is probably slightly braked so you have margin to accelerate. I was just trying to be fancy and do an accurate swoop landing. ;)
I cracked my miniplane frame using a carrier and doing run ups clamped on the carrier. For anyone making a carrier, take these issues into consideration and distribute the stress throughout the frame, not just the bottom portion
What features or characteristics of the Scout 2 do you favor over the Tornado 280? It thought the safety features of the Scout might be part of the draw.
+Tucker Gott, love this video but a quick question - I notice that on your third run you show your trimmers which are almost (perhaps are) fully out? I always pull the trimmers on my Roadster 2 fully in before landing (beyond the white line), so I'm curious as to whether you're landing in full trim?
And just another suggestion, for tutorial videos like this, its great if you could use a camera attached to your cage so that we can see what you're doing with your risers.
Nice vlog guys. Hey Tucker is your coffee machine a wifi one? Cause I saw you checked your phone for something while adding the coffee beans. Or am I wrong? Nice coffee making machine set tho. Hi from Greece (Greek coffee lover here) . Loving the vids/ adventures by the way nice.
the 50mm f1.8 lens is fantastic for full frame cameras, but for a crop factor camera a better lens would be in the 24-35mm range because the crop factor makes it feel more like "human eye" wideness rather than the zoom you get with the 50mm on crop factors. i can tell in the shots that the 50mm is too far zoomed to get shots comfortably. i do love the 50mm prime though, super sharp lens and so cheap best of all worlds just have to put up with it being a prime which is fine
Tucker - Love your videos. Going to get up there one day. So, question, I'm an older dude, 47, and once the kiddos are out of the nest, really considering this as my 'old man' hobby. LOL. Anyway, age aside, I'm a big guy - 6ft 5' 285. Would I still be able to paramotor? Or am I doomed , grounded and just have to use VR and watch your vids and pretend like I'm up there with a fan in my face?! Thanks for your time! Be safe, hit up NC sometime.
10/10 would recommend over Saturday morning cartoons. Can't beat the nifty 50 lense.
Keep them coming Tuck. I'm 68 years old and I watch every one.
I WOKE UP AND THE SKY IS GONE!!! Seriously, put, "If the sky doesn't exist tomorrow, we killed it." on a t-shirt.
Also, the wind noise coming through the wing sounds dope AF.
Just what I thought to!..... LOL
People wouldnt get it, theyll just think you're a tree hugger 😄

Tucker thank you for sharing your experiences over UA-cam. I enjoy watching the incredible things you do paramotoring. Keep up the good work!
Not loading. Last thing i heard was the sky quote. Luved it. Shoud ba a slogan. Wanna see it on merch
50mm F1.8 been a standard for decades. Super Awesome Video!
I feel like your videos are the only ones I look forward to watching. Like honestly it's so nice knowing I can go on my lunch break and have a good 15-25 minute video to enjoy 👌
Great lens for the collection! Loved the pace of the second half of the video with an objective to complete. Keep up the good work
Awesome Skills Tucker , Don’t take those SKILLS for Granted though !
We ALL want to see you live a
Very Long life 🤙🏻 ✌🏽

I enjoy the morning uploads. I'm on mountain time so there early for me and I can wake up with a cup of coffee and watch your new video. its great!
Absolutely love your videos man, im definitely gonna look into getting a paramotor forsure because why not and everybody wants to fly
I love doing patterns for hours just to try and smoke that landing perfectly.
Tucker, thank you so much for your wonderful journeys. I have been riding with you in spirit. You are awesome. Much Love!
Awesome Tucker thank you for your awesome video and that new lends did the job
enjoyed rhett and link’s shoutout to your channel on their podcast about bucket lists, i’d give it a listen!

Just waiting for the video to load 😕😐...
Supreme Native mine took forever to load also, I wonder if it is a server issue
Same....
Came back still choppy loading... Maybr he used a new cam lmaoo too good for our phones n shit 😂
Weird, same format and render settings as the last few videos. I'm having issues on mobile but not on a desktop.
On Safari it will not load but on chrome it does.
You got a nifty 50! (50mm prime) cool! I've neglected all my other lens for that one for the last couple of weeks.
As a former ag pilot, I know about the thrills that come with skimming the deck. Its addictive.
I Love these NJ videos
I like the new camera lens. It's pretty clean. How much was it?
$250, it's no Carl Zeiss but I like it. :)
Tucker Gott dang. Not bad. It does look super clean at least on my phone. Great colors and contrast.
Sick shots as usual!! Nice DLG shots at the end!
For the hitch I cut a piece of angle iron on 1 side leaving a small edge after the bend. Drill a hole through the hitch and pices of iron. Tighten with a bolt (with flat part on receiver and bent edge on hitch) and you will loose all play. If you need can send pic.

Search "tune your ball mounts" on UA-cam. You weld right?
This video is just gushing with energy.. I always love going back to it :D
Tucker, that new lens has great depth of field, which really allows for follow focus work. Awesome job on the precision landings. :)
Tucker, put a couple ratchet straps from the front corners of the carrier up to the door hinges above. Put some pressure pulling up on the carrier to help eliminate the bounce.
Awesome new lens bro!
How is this channel not at 1 million subs yet? Such good content
Yay! Cool to see the DLG at the end.
Good to see some local flying vids again! Great vid!
Beautiful landings, thanks for sharing..
Early squad, know its gonna be a good one before it starts....it's Tucker!
Jay Gundry You Gott that right
That tune is gonna be stuck in my head all day!!!
ahh those 50mm shots look CRISPAY!
If you put some sheet metal shims with holes for your hitch pin and tack weld the shims on top and bottom you,ll easily fix your hitch issues.
Grrrrrrr This won't load properly in the uk :(
john wheatley Yea having the same issue. Im guessing its becauae it just went up.
Thanks - I thought it was just me :)
buffering every few seconds here in the u.s. all other videos on youtube are playing fine without any issues.
Has taken 10 mins to load 3 secs...
In the Northeastern USA here - got the notification about 2:30pm or so - wasn't able to watch the vid until 8pm. Good video! I haven't watched it all but the first 2 seconds is good!
Wow UA-cam actually notified me in a reasonable amount of time. Suh dude
Sah dude!
Just as I thought: Reporting on the times that Y T notification works properly takes less space than complaining about the times that it doesn't!
Great video you make it look so easy!
Enjoyed as always, Thanks Tucker:)
Just got my paramotor cant wait to get training!
Nice depth of field with the lens. Adds a I nice subtle upgrade.
"If the sky doesn't exist tomorrow, it's because we killed it!" Sounds like a new T-Shirt.
Even though I understand why it works, there’s a part of me that expects him to drop right out of the sky every time he does a barrel roll. There’s a part of my brain that simply refuses to accept that it’s actually possible. It says, “The chute is below him, ipso facto, he should fall. End of story”
wonderful landing
Is the wing used for paramotors specific for paramotors or its the same thing as for example kite surfing or others? Thanks
Love this video,,my LZ since Dave bought the place(guy with the trike) May not have flown while you were trading. Are ya still flying?
Awesome video bro
Tucker, I have the same issue with the slop in the hitch. Buy one of these off ebay or amazon (Trailer Hitch Anti Rattle Stabilizer Lock down) Its basically a clamp that pulls up the slop in the hitches. This way you wont go rattling around. Fly safe! Robby
I want to see you do more sats!
look at her doing the grunt work. shes the rock star!
Hi Tucker, what angle of view do you set your helmet camera? Is it 170 degrees or less?
It's set to wide and superview on a gopro 4 black. Not sure what that equates to.
Hey Tucker, I am using the same hitch rack, with adapter.. What would you recommend to mitigate spar damage?
How do you make that final turn so close to the ground. Without slashing into the ground.
Tuck, in an airplane the most accurate spot landing technique is a steep descent approach at a reduced but safe speed. This is described in the old faa commercial certificate guide

12:10 ". . . kick that little tree . . . AW! - that hit my ankle!" LMFAO
What features or characteristics of the Scout 2 do you favor over the Tornado 280? It thought the safety features of the Scout might be part of the draw.
Its full trim out landing, super fast, no risk for collapse?
Function over form is always appropriate
What type of plane is hanging on your rafters in the garage?
Swooping a paramotor! That is some epic shit man hahaha I thought skydiving swoopers were crazy, you are amazing brother!
Is it UA-cam, my wifi or are your videos becoming way too high quality? This video doesn't want to load.
Brian Richards it's not just you
its not just you
Yeah, what's up with that? It seems to only be this particular video for me
At 12:28. Respect. I can feel that turn!
Another paramotor video, another good day
"if the sky doesn't exist tomorrow, we killed it" would buy that T-shirt. (Pls ship to NZ haha)
+Tucker Gott, love this video but a quick question - I notice that on your third run you show your trimmers which are almost (perhaps are) fully out? I always pull the trimmers on my Roadster 2 fully in before landing (beyond the white line), so I'm curious as to whether you're landing in full trim?
love the 50 and the videos 👍🏼
with the broken spar how will it affect the torque compensation
Thank you
great editing this episode... the work shows :)
Good one T..................
Do a dlg Video! I got one last year it is so much fun!
You are the Jeff Spicoli of the skies my friend!
What would be your best estimate on how much altitude you lose on a average barrel roll?
Did you build the DLG from an HK kit?
I hope Scout sends you a replacement frame. You bring them tons of customers.
Wonder what happened to the new moster factory scout?
Waiting on a full day of good weather to do an extended cross country. 😎
oh that's awesome dude! Cheers
Which is best, left hand or right hand throttle?
And just another suggestion, for tutorial videos like this, its great if you could use a camera attached to your cage so that we can see what you're doing with your risers.
What do you think of bailey 4 stroke
great vids
I think it is so cool when you fly low to the ground and zip over the treetops!
I’d like to see some thermalling action!
Good stuff as usual, how come there's no sky today?
The way Tuckers talking in this one, title should be how to master perfect landing while high on Tuckers special coffee brew!

"If the sky doesn't exist tomorrow it's cause I killed it" that's a great saying man. New shirt idea? Or window sticker?
Tucker - Love your videos. Going to get up there one day. So, question, I'm an older dude, 47, and once the kiddos are out of the nest, really considering this as my 'old man' hobby. LOL. Anyway, age aside, I'm a big guy - 6ft 5' 285. Would I still be able to paramotor? Or am I doomed , grounded and just have to use VR and watch your vids and pretend like I'm up there with a fan in my face?! Thanks for your time! Be safe, hit up NC sometime.
It's possible with a trike or quad, but it's a great excuse to drop 50lbs.
its all about energy management....I have heard this before....Bob Hoover
It works now okay - thanks :)
