- How to change the shifter accessory light indicator on an automatic transmission for a 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, or 2005 Pontiac Grand Am. Chevrolet Malibu and Oldsmobile Alero have a similar setup.
I have no reason to be here. I just like learning stuff
And this old video keeps giving. Just did this on my fiance's car. Thanks!
A wonderful video. Clear and concise with great angles and narration. Wish more repair videos were done like this. This makes being a DIY'er a breeze. Thanks!!
Transmission housing? Wtf.. the only thing from there that even touches your transmission is your neutral safety switch.
I was looking at getting out of park shifting problem but your video helped find a temporary fix so I could get at it. Thanks
I don't know. I've been busy with school. It'll probably be a while yet.
change the orange film while your at it use the color of your choosing
Wheres the fuse for the light at? I replaced my burnt out bulb but its not fixed? I dont know what fuse box it is in.
Hey man great job, i just hosted this on the Pontiac Grand Am Owners website cause a couple of people have wondered how to do this. I did this in a matter of about 10 minutes and was really easy.
Again, thank you.
when do u think u will be abble to make it?
Thanks for the video! Had a spare bulb in my glove box (two pack), and went right out and popped the new one in. with zero hassle. Didn't even need tweezers, just a flathead screwdriver.
My daughter said her shiftier light was out in her 03 Grand Am GT. I went out to get the bulb last night. I swear I was done in under 10 minutes. All I needed was the flat head screwdriver. Thanks for the video.
Can't thank you enough followed your instruction and it's working like new. Thanks
Thank you so much you saved me $100. It was a pain in the ass but I got the job done.
Just wanted to say thanks for this vid, my dad used it to fix my 05' grand am, and it helped a bunch.
very very helpful..... four years later, I"m viewing this and I did it..... Thx a million....
Very nice Rich. Although I don't have that car, I was still fascinated by the process and how clearly you were able to explain it. It's a nice video and is something you really should be able to do yourself to save a trip to the mechanic. I also liked the camera quality and angles you got of you performing the procedure. Great job! :-)
Thank u so much for this video. I'm a DIY kinda lady so this was definitely on my to do list. Love your personality!
Thank you so much,I took your advice and looked under the hood and there it was!.I replaced the fuse and it's working :)
