The Gen. 7 Pokemon games are prime examples of Pokemon games that died immediately after the sequel released, much like Sword and Shield would do later on. There's no Friend Safaris or Blissey Bases for you to mess with in the Gen. 7 games, and if you didn't grind out your Festival Plaza level within the first year or two of USUM it's honestly not even worth trying to do it before the online servers shut down. Any copy of the games can still get a few of the gift Pokemon like Magearna and Ash-Hat Pikachu through QR codes, and the games are pack full of small events like the Ultra Wormholes to find cool legendaries and shiny Pokemon, but apart from that there's not much to do in these games compared with X/Y and ORAS.
Exactly why gen 7 is the worst gen imo. Gen 6 had 2 games full of content that promoted online play. Gen 7 was such a huge step backwards that it permanently hurt the only the way online functions.

The only thing I see worth my time to do in these games are. (Battle Tree) and (Battle Royal Dome) although it would have been better, with an award at the end of the (Battle Royal dome) But the (Battle Royal dome) has no ending, or award. Only the (Battle Tree)
