- Today I’m gonna take you to see the su 30 Jets Become ‘Nuclear Capable’ With Supersonic Kh-32 Missiles. Su-30SM fighters receive new "heavy" air-to-surface missiles. The Russian military plans to modify the Su-30SM to carry the Kh-32 supersonic air-to-surface missile. The Kh-32 missile is believed to have a range of up to 1,000km and can be used against both ships and ground targets.

Yeah you can buy this jet but if you have useless maintenance team, they'll be grounded in no time. And they better be good enough to modify or manufacture the spareparts. Looks like India is doing a good job but don't think other countries are on par.

@@inlikearefugee5194 look a good fighter jet is one thing , but horrible maintenance and bad use and a pilot with a stomach full of vodka is another. so imagine I (person who you don't know) drink a ton of wine and take the f 35 as a pilot . I crash it into the enemy's s 400 ( for instance) . Is that the f 35's fault , or mine ?
We have to remember that there are two development lines of SU-30, one from Irkutsk and one from Komsomolsk on Amur Plant. They are very different airplanes and they could have different radars, power plants, avionics, weapons etc. For example Su-30 delivered to the China and African countries are Komsomolsk (KnnaPO) airplanes, and in terms of combat capabilities and avionics systems they vary greatly from Irkutsk Su-30 of Indian and Russian Air force. The designation "Su-30" is the only thing that connecting that airplanes.

What are you talking about. Su-30 is not the aircraft that will replace Su-24, its the Su-34 that will replace it. Su-30 is a multi-role fighter, they are not going to replace Su-24, as strike aircraft with a multi-role fighter; that is why they made the Su-34, another strike aircraft.

Bhai, it's a different class of missile! The Indian varient of Brahmos Supersonic Missile mounted to Su-30 MKI has a range of 150-300Kms , meanwhile KH-32 has a range of 1000mks. India would have to do all the catching up.. or Even should go for the Kh-32. 👍

Yes right. Therefore they (china) upgraded from SU 30 MKK to Su30 SM3 which adds a more powerful radar also sm2 variant (MKI derivative) has N035 Irbis radar and al 41 engine of the su 35 you mentioned .

Firstly: The Su-30 can not carry this nuclear missile, Tu-22M3M cary this missile.
Next: Russian Mig-31 and MiG-29 can carry nuclear missiles (maybe others, I know for these two), which require special electronics to launch. American fighters can carry nuclear bombs, simple free-falling bombs, which most likely do not require special equipment for their use.
I thought all SU30's were equipped with cannon, not a machine gun.

Russia should keep more Sukhoi's than it sells, also F-35 A's are all cable of carrying US freefall nuclear bombs the same ones kept in storage in most NATO countries. The A model has the appropriate electronics to arm the free fall nuke bomb just like the F-111 could.

Carrying missiles is one thing. Target locking on a stealth jet is something entirely different. The missile could have a 2000km range it would not matter if they cannot lock on the target jet or ship. Meanwhile a stealth jet would would take out a su30 from distance with ease. A T45 destroyer can see 1000 targets at a range of 400km away. The su30 would be toast before it could get a locked. the F-35 for instance would see the su30 and send target lock data to T45 and it would fire a missile and take it out with ease.
su 30 is supersonic jet but f 35 need more time to reach that lock distance
and also Russians are not fools Su 30 comes with jammer pods like in su 34
so don't speak about stealth and missile lock only locking on ship is easier then locking an jet
su 30 pilots known and they also expecting opponent fighters so they also come with fighter escot.
Soon enough people will develop full radar to detect stealth fighter that's a fact and that time that big f35 will be easy training target practice

You seem to think that the f-35 will want to fight at WVR? They won't. They will simply send target data to another system to fire on an enemy jet and carry on with its mission. You could see a b2 loaded with a 100 meteors 400km away from an enemy jet that is target locked. Russians think will be fighting a conventional a2a battle in the future. They won't.
@@shinasuka1799 You do realise its much cheaper to create new stealth coatings and costs less than trying to make a RADAR system to detect Stealth. Its always against the detector. Thats why s400 will get taken out. MALD was invented. SAMs waste their missiles on false positives. Then get hit.

In 1985, a USAF F-15A used a hypersonic air-to-air missile to shoot down a satellite. This remains the only air-to-air kill of a satellite. As it stands, the US is more interested in developing optical weapons. These weapons fire at the speed of light and do not need ballistic vectoring to hit a target. They can kill hypersonic missiles. It's not the US can't produce hypersonic missiles, they would just rather develop a better weapon system.

I am sorry, but this is BS! The Kinzhal is a smaller, lighter(around 3.5 tons) and newer missile, hense why the larger Mig-31K can carry it.
The Su-30 can carry Brahmos on its senter hardpoints yes, but it weights(only) 2.5tons.
If you study the Kh-32 is a humongous large missile at the weight class of 5-6 tons, its also a very old missile design and it will end its service when Tu-22M3 retire. No way you can fit this on a Su-30..

I agree. The dimensions literally don't fit on the centreline of the SU-30 platform, and the weapon is nearly obsolete. Expect nothing but propaganda from Russia. When they called the MiG-31 a "smaller aircraft" I snorted my coffee. It's the largest and heaviest fighter in the world. It's standard take-off weight without ordnance is more than a fully loaded SU-34 bomber, lol.

Even the company that makes the sensor they're referring to doesn't call it a radar. It's an IFF system like what the F-22 and F-35 have in their wings, but Russian media has spun it into a "stealth killing radar" despite the laws of physics saying that it is incapable of beam forming in 3D for tracking anything.
