- On the sidelines of DefExpo 2022, which just ended in Gandhinagar, some anonymous defence sources told Financial Express Online that Malaysia was interested in the BrahMos Next Generation (NG) missile.
The next-generation missile is a version of the BrahMos that is smaller, lighter, and more stealthy. NG is not only lighter but is also compact and smaller and this next generation missile system can be fitted on different platforms.
Up until a month ago, South Korea appeared to be ahead of India in the race to supply Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) to Malaysia. But if India relies on its "super weapon," can it get back into the race with its LCA Tejas, which it built on its own and is competing against the South Korean FA-50?
Malaysia has expressed interest in the BrahMos NG (Next Generation) missiles, following the Philippines' $374 million purchase of BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles.
According to sources, it is eager to purchase the missile, which was developed in India as part of an Indo-Russian joint venture that can be installed in the Russian Sukhoi-30,
The sale of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile to Indonesia is currently in progress. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will discuss this at the Asean summit in Indonesia next month.
Indonesia has Kilo class submarines and Su-27 fighter jets, so installing BrahMos supersonic missiles on board will be easy.
the source also told Financial Express Online that no BrahMos or other missiles have been sold to Vietnam.
First viewer,India has great opportunity to export defence equipment.
Malaysia can give it to Pakistan. Dangerous game.
No Brahmos for India's enemies.
Our Brahmos can be fired against us.
Bhramos shouldn't be given to Malaysia if it doesn't go with LCA Tejas.
Physical Assessment, LCA Price Negotiation Completed
Last week, Defense Security Asia reported that the RMAF evaluation team was in South Korea to conduct a physical evaluation of the FA-50 aircraft developed by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI).
I didn't know India wanted to give Malaysia Brahmos. No worries...Malaysia does not use or possess MiG 21s so it can't copy and make its own Brahmos with the fuselage of the MiG21s...haha
No brahmos or tejas or any kind of weapons for India haters.
Am i the only one who wish to see Russia use Brahmos even once in the Ukraine war .
Yes
Me too wanted Russia to use Brahmos in its ukraine war
Very bizarre question.
Think I’ve had enough of the internet for the day on that note.
Russia alredy uses p800 oniks brahmos is just derivative or an advance version of p800 oniks
Your comment shows that India doesn't give a crap about democracy or human rights.
Your thumbnail immidiately attract me.
Love from Bengal.❤️
Selling to Malaysia is as good as gifting to Pakistan.😄😆😝🤣
@Violent Cabbage Dalal mindset .. don't care for national security.
@@joshuacherian6718 🥴🥴🥴 Good joke
@Violent Cabbage It was a big mistake.
Good that Malaysia rejected it and we won't repeat that mistake.
Dear World affairs, Have you ever wondered as to why should India suddenly become a place to manufacture state of the military hardware? Why ? In a world where high Russian technology has failed miserably in Ukraine war and India has the least qualified parliament and leadership in terms of academics. Indian regime has hate against minorities on agenda to stay in power and defense contracts are awarded to the least qualified as it could be seen Anil Ambani getting Rafael deal.
I think Russia should used a Brahmos in Ukraine war should show how it is world super fast missile in world
Brahmos is based out of Onyx missiles. Russia used it in Syria.
Why give Brahmos NG to Malaysia? Keep it Simple, buy Tejas to get Brahmos NG simple. This is what US and EU do. We got Meteor through Rafale not on its own!!
No Indian weapons for India haters.
India shouldn't sale neither its Tezas nor the Brahmos to Malaysia as long as Malaysia maintain ties with Pakistan and Turkey. I don't understand why India is dying to sale Tezas. Tezas is the best in its category of fighters. There are another 100 countries who will become India's customer for Tezas.
100%correct...we don't need those markets...we should focus elsewhere
Well it’s all about money and the more countries that buy our products the better our reputation gets and the closer our defense export target gets
So while I agree Malaysia is not the most friendly nation it is still a good idea to sell them the Tejas
But yes we shouldn’t give them Brahmos technology
I think you may have missed something here... Tender was for 18 fighter training aircraft... obviously Tejas was on the list...but the catch is there is a whole new difference in a fighter training aircraft and a warplane ...so i would say please take that on account also....
India cannot do that. For, if it did, then India would be putting the same kind of strings on their arms sales, as the US puts on theirs. India has long criticized US for putting strings on its arms sales.
So, India cannot turn around and do just what we do.
Can it??
@@arindamdutta9999 The Tender Is For Two Seater, FLIT And LCA(Fly In Trainee And Light Combat Aircraft)And India Tejas Only Meet One Requirement Light Combat Aircraft
As Former Pilot For Malaysia Airforce Most Trainee Will Not Fly Without Experience Pilot That Act As Weapon Master
Malaysia is interetsted the Brahmos integrated with its Sukhoi 39 MKMs.
No Brahmos for India haters.

Talking nonsense again. A 5 min conversation at some airshow booth and Indians claim Malaysians are interested. Besides, Malaysia Su30 uses French Avionics and fire control
God Bless India
but Malaysia is ally of Pakistan
@Violent Cabbage Muslim preacher is hiding in Malaysia who is prisoner in India. And many of them are Muslim
@Violent Cabbage He is radical muslim who's brainwashes against India. If you are abdooool. Sorry too hurt you 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Violent Cabbage India maintains good relations with China too.
Pakistan is different.
So clearly you have no idea about India.
@Violent Cabbage There is no anti muslim politics in India.

I do not understand why Indians weapon looks so weird. My question is do not they spend enough for a good design? Take example as Tejas aircraft. Do you really like its design? I do not think anyone like its design. tejas might be a pain in the ass due to its design.
Your country soldiers do training on aiming or they train to mackup the Assault Rifle, s??

No Brahmos for Malaysia or India's enemies.
India🇮🇳🇮🇳🐆🐆🐆 good pordek
🤣🤣FIRST TEJAS SHOULD GET BOOST FRM KAVERI ENGINE NOT AMERICAN ENGINE🤣🤣
Kaveri isn't sufficient to power the tejas. It requires minimum 80-83kN thrust.
